You mentioned something that really matters to me: feeling like you were the only person that mattered at that moment.
That’s exactly how it should feel when you’re buying something special online, especially when there’s distance involved and time zones trying to be “helpful” in the most inconvenient way.
The internet makes it easy to order, but it can also make things feel cold and automatic.

You placed your order on 12/14.
A DHL express shipment was created on 12/15.
Then came Christmas week, a small detail that seems to have escaped your timeline.

Between 12/22 and 12/26, you expected real-time courier investigations, warehouse scans, customer service updates, and apparently full operational staffing on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day (12/25) and Boxing Day (12/26). Just to be clear for readers: we are a professional company, not a 24/7 holiday labour camp. Neither DHL nor investigation departments operate normally on those dates, something publicly documented and widely known outside of internet reviews.

Now, about the “scam” accusation.

Payments on www.TicTacArea.com are processed via Stripe, one of the largest and most regulated payment platforms in the world. We do not manually charge cards, we do not “hold” funds, and we certainly don’t run secret operations that somehow escape Stripe, DHL, and international regulators simultaneously. The idea is imaginative, but not factual.

Then comes our personal favourite line:

“Chase told me they have had several complaints with this vendor.”

We’re genuinely honoured. Apparently, the largest bank in the United States not only knows TicTacArea.com personally, but also shares internal merchant complaint statistics with individual customers, casually, by name, across all branches. One imagines a Chase employee whispering:
“Please hold, ma’am, let me brief you on that Spanish watch retailer again.”

Banks do not disclose that information. Ever. This statement is simply untrue, and readers are free to judge the credibility of the rest accordingly.

Now, let’s move to the grand finale, because this is where the irony really earns its paycheck.

The shipment was prepared and scheduled on Friday.
Today is Monday.
At your request, we stopped the shipment immediately.
And, brace yourselve, we issued a full refund of €102.43.

Yes. €102.43.
A staggering fortune. Clearly enough to justify “throwing away” over 30 years of business, thousands of international shipments, partnerships with DHL and Stripe, and more than 1,500 real customer reviews worldwide. One can only marvel at how fragile global commerce apparently is.
