Poor Post Purchase Experience
The buying experience was fine, no issues at checkout although I wish they wouldn't have used Shopify which did interfere with the workflow and does every time I log in.
The delivery via UPS was fine. Although UPS is pretty hit and miss with dates of arrival at a home address there is the facility just to pick it up from a store which worked for me.
The watch was wrapped well, on a cushion, in a sturdy box etc.
There was no manual inside the box so I had to download it from the website. The manual wasn't specific to my watch and was totally confusing trying to work my way through bits and pieces of several other watch designs. Maybe Timex is so cheap it can't be bothered to write anything specific and therefore make customers cringe in agony when receiving their new product. Due to the poor instructions I complained that my watch wasn't working but it was just due to their lack of effort of putting together a proper manual.
I emailed their customer support and received a response from an AI which was painful. When I called in the person on the other end of the phone was friendly even though I wasn't that happy at the time.
I searched through a bunch of YouTube videos on the watch and found the answers I was looking for, thanks to subject matter experts online.
It is a nice watch but Timex should improve the experience which wouldn't take a lot of effort.
