Toad Hall Cottages has an excellent easy to navigate website that gives you more information than many others including good photos of holiday properties. Payment is easy too. If you need to call them you will find the staff most helpful. When the lift was out of order in the flat we booked, a member of staff came along to help us carry our luggage up when we arrived. We have booked with Toad Hall Cottages for many years; it's our preferred company!

Toad hall cottages very easy to book with and always professional in their approach to customers

This apartment is absolutely beautiful, spacious, comfortable, clean and cosy. Last week was our 6th (I think) visit to this apartment, we just love it. A short walk down into town and its own undercover parking for 2 cars, which is brilliant. Will definitely be booking our 7th visit for next year.

Loved the homeliness of the house, perfect holiday home. Great to be able to take the dogs with us but disappointed that the previous tenants hadn’t cleared up their dog’s mess from the garden. Something had sprayed the side of one of the sofas leaving a very pungent smell but Toad Hall came out to help solve this, thank you. Beds were very comfy and kitchen well equipped. Garden was great to bbq in and relax in the hot tub. Overall a great experience!

Second time we’ve booked a Devon cottage through Toad Hall and as before everything was perfect. From the booking experience and arrival instructions to the actual stay.

Stayed at Wayside cottage in Devon.
Family of 4 plus our dog.
The cottage was excellent and suited all our needs perfectly and very well priced.
Booking process and communication was excellent from Toadhall Cottages.
Would definitely recommend Toadhall Cottages and we will use again.
We would also stay at Wayside again too.

Beautiful house, ideal location, does exactly what it says on the tin.

We have been visiting Salcombe for 29 years I have booked through most of the companies but I really like the service given by toad hall cottages Nothing is any trouble they go above & beyond to make your stay a good one ,they inform you as soon as your property is cleaned and ready to go on this occasion 2 hours earlier very welcome after a long journey

Toad Hall Cottages are an extremely good agency - they offer high quality accommodation, excellent service and terrific local support and knowledge. Always my first port of call for holidays in Devon and Cornwall.

This is the third time we have booked through Toad Hall Cottages.
Always very good service and helpful. Never had a problem with this company and the property was excellent too.

Experience suggests the company offers a portfolio of generally second-rate cottages and a customer service to match. Would be reluctant to consider using it again.

Booked with them nice and in advance
Three weeks before we was due to go away, they cancelled
On a Friday via email at 4:15
Gave me some other options with them to look through or offered me an immediate refund
After looking through the options, there was non-suitable asked for an immediate refund
They requested my bank details at 5:29. I replied six minutes later to get a bounce back saying that they was closed until Tuesday so my immediate refund took three days I called at the weekend. Only need to be told there was nobody available.
Then I had to call them again on the Tuesday and didn’t receive my refund until after I’d called them at 11 am
In whose world is that an immediate refund?
The customer service was appalling
And really regret booking with them as now I have three weeks to book somewhere else at short notice so everything is now more expensive
