I struggled with hypermobility and had a lot of tension in my hips and in my shoulders. I worked out regulary but I just didn't feel fit. I found SMM and Tom Morrison after going into a rabbithole of self diagnostic. Doctors and a physiotherapists told me everything is well and tension and pains are normal. I started with SMM and did only the workout for 6 months almost daily. Everything changed for me. My body suddenly started moving as one unit. I also bought the other programs and they all helped me immensely. But the best part is that Tom Morrison and the crew taught me how to just move without being scared or questioning everything. I feel heard in the SMM community and you don't get that with other online programs!
Tom and his team have made a fantastic program for anybody wanting to improve their mobility and help get themselves out of pain - even chronic pain. They are also super supportive and responsive on social media and email. If you are thinking about buying it, my advice is to do it (it’s cheaper than a single physio appointment) and start on the regressions that they offer. I thought I was tougher than needing regressions but it turned out that using the regressions helped improve my form, and get stronger and more flexible much quicker. I’ve been using SMM for around 5 years, not regularly enough, but it’s gotten me almost totally out of chronic back pain, increased my flexibility in all areas, increased my overall range of motion - and eventually strength in ROM. I can honestly say that I’m now in better shape at 50 than I was at 30 (and with less pain, fewer niggles). It’s not an overnight silver bullet, but if you can be fairly consistent you’ll notice a difference within a month. In a year you won’t know yourself, and in 5 years you’ll be wondering why they don’t teach this in schools. This kind of program would save the health budget billions in the long run. Tom may act like a silly bugger, and need Jenni as a voice of reason, but their programs are incredible, and I like the way they teach. They are the real deal, so if you want to move better, buy it. If you can’t afford it, they do heaps of free stuff on YouTube. But you won’t regret following their instruction.
Excellent online videos & manuals with great follow up on a super friendly Facebook community. Tom & Jenni really know what they’re doing and have suffered pain themselves. It’s doable and accessible and there is support. Also it’s a one off price with no ongoing subscription. Highly recommend.

Excellent follow along videos whatever your starting point. Highly recommended for those who have ignored strength and mobility for many years. Very motivational and unlike many other platforms I've seen which try to get you to do something that's impossible for 99% of the population, the SMM is very incremental, if you stick with it you see some super improvements. So glad I signed up , will be using the programme as an investment for staying strong and flexible. Great for those who spend too much time at a desk and an excellent compliment to my many miles cycling.
Really good program, was actually surprised how challenging the full SMM is, as whilst I'm reasonably fit, flexibility and tight areas are significant. The easier sessions are great when suffering an injury, or just need a lighter load befor the day ahead. Being able to watch it on my phone from home, work, travel and not need any accesories is a huge bonus.

I’m writing this review because I really appreciated reading other reviews before I bought SMM. I’m an active 47 year old woman (love running and lifting weights) but have had lower back issues for 10 years. It’s L4/5. I’ve done physio, osteopathy, taken a zillion painkillers, used ice, used heat pads etc…. Ended up retiring from running for a while as my back was so bad. BUT what has made the world of difference is doing SMM religiously 2/3 times a week. I’ve had No flare ups for 6 months!!!!! I would definitely recommend the program. I ended up doing the regressions (and some super regressions) as I have super tight hips so bare that in mind. SMM humbles you if you think you’re fit!

My husband and I are both 57, pretty healthy, and reasonably fit. We've both been thinking a lot about maintaining mobility as we age, especially since we've started experiencing occasional stiffness and random joint pains. SMM definitely addresses all our concerns, and revealed weaknesses we didn't even know we had. I've learned my glutes and adductors are lazy, which probably explains my "random" groin and low back pains. The regressions and follow-alongs are so helpful for meeting you where you are, while at the same time showing the goal you're trying to reach. After 4 weeks of SMM 3x/week, my lazy muscles are getting back into the game. SMM is challenging in the best way. I feel like there's a valid reason behind each exercise and the reason they're done in that order-- way better than trying to kluge together random movements from a bunch of YouTube videos. Very glad I bought this program.

I have had exercises from a physio in the past, hard to stick to and boring. Tom Morrison and the team have somehow put together something that you can do repeatedly with just the right amount of challenge and diversity to help to keep you going. (But yes there are still hard days!)

I have been struggling with chronic pain and stiffness for years. Having a sedentary job, sitting for hours causing hip, back, shoulder, neck pain and stiffness and even causing migraines. it was getting so bad it was then stopping me doing my favorite things, even though I have always been quite a get up and go person. I had spent a fortune on oestopaths and chiropractors which helped in the short term but always went back to pain and more pain. I thought that was it for the rest of my life. I then found Tom by accident on YouTube. I started doing the follow alongs and watching the advice videos. It then led me to sign up to the SMM course a few weeks ago. It’s early days but I can honestly say I feel like a different person. My pain and stiffness is now already manageable and I’m feeling a bit better every single day. I have so much more body awareness now so I can really focus on the parts that need most attention.
This has really helped my running.
It’s brilliant value- less than an hour’s physio! I still working with my physio alongside “Tom” but it is becoming less.
I cannot praise this programme and all of the You Tube videos enough.
Having a set routine plus loads of options for regressing movements has been key for me.

After years of back and shoulder pain, countless chiropractor and physical therapy visits only gave fleeting relief. I "knew" it was my IT-Band and Glute Med. that was the source of all my trouble. To continue my favorite sport, distance running, I was spending 1-2 hours doing foam rolling, trigger point therapy, and stretching to recover after each long workout. Then, I found SMM. The online community was so warm and encouraging, and a lifetime purchase for the program was cheaper than another PT visit. I decided to give it a try. I was skeptical about the approach, which essentially boiled down to "don't focus on one specific body part, work on mobility from head to toe." Within the first couple of weeks, the worst of my pain flare ups had started to subside. Within three months, my back and shoulders were pain free and I returned to running. It's been three years since I started SMM, and it's the best health investment I've ever made. Even after an all-day gardening session, an all-day drive in the car, or running a half marathon, I know exactly what mobility moves I need to do to get back on track. My lacrosse ball, back knobber, and a dozen other pieces of special equipment I bought to treat my pain - they're all collecting dust in the closet.

This company are fantastic. I can definitely recommend them. I used SMM to get me out of a running injury and I’ve since got ultimate core. The thing I love about them is they care that you get the best out of your workouts. The ultimate core has been updated for an easier workable model and now I have access to that even though I’d bought the old program. They've also been very attentive to any questions I’ve ever asked and they really look after their customers. The workouts also work!!!

SMM is a great programme to support mobility. We often think of exercise as cardio or strength, and then overlook the basics like how our spines and joints are supposed to move. SMM shows us how to add in this aspect of our fitness, and I have found it so valuable as I get older, helping me to develop and maintain strength. It's suitable for all levels of fitness, with regressed moves if you can't do the full versions. And let's face it, most of us can't do everything on the programme unless we've been training it already.
Tom and the rest of the team are so generous in sharing their knowledge and experience on social media, and the programmes are all great value for money. You won't regret the investment in SMM if you want to maintain independence and stave off the worst effects of an aging body. Starting early in life is ideal, but it's never too late to start, If you've seen Tom's amusing ads on social media, I highly recommend investing your time and money in SMM

The variety of videos that address so many issues all provide clear instruction and modifications for any situation. Exercise is not my idea of a good time, but Tom’s method really addresses not only pain but the myriad causes of pain.
