Tom's Shoulder & Posture Fix program has made a big improvement to my injured rotator cuff . I already did the SMM program, and added this.
It's very clearly structured, with a 10 min daily video (that has 3 levels you work up through), and a series of focused stages where you do another 10-20 mins 3x/wk then move on. It found a few weaknesses and imbalances, and worked towards starting larger movements (dumbell shoulder rotations, press ups, pull ups, dips etc). Since the course I've been building strength on those and am continuing to see my pain decrease. I can now sleep on either shoulder for the first time in 18 months, and this week did my first unaided press-up. So very pleased with this program.

Tom and Jenny are a fabulous team.
Breaking down movements so you can regress until you attain command of the movement and develop strength to move forward.
Absolutely love the whole team energy and the messages they share.
An Irishwoman living in Australia 🙏🤸♂️💃🙋♀️💪🦵🙌🦶😎
I started SMM back in February after suffering lower back pain for a number of years.
I have always trained very hard in some instances because of my job, so it was part of my life, but because of the lower back pain I honestly thought that was it for me training wise.
After 4 months now consistently doing SMM 3 to 4 times a week, it has sorted almost everything to point now that I can train.
I can’t thank Tom and his team for the website and the constant videos and also the Facebook forum for feedback.
It has literally changed the way I train now and also my outlook on life.
Back in my 20s I was diagnosed with Ankalosing Spondilitis. This is a genetic infammatory condition which causes my body to attack its own joints, especially in the spine. At times I was completely unable to move, especially after long periods of inactivity. The pain was so intense I would nearly pass out and it was one of the reasons I went to Australia in 1989 the hope that the warmth would help. It didn't. In fact after such a long flight I had trouble getting off the plane. The good thing was that having suffered this extreme pain for a couple of years I did get my diagnosis in Brisbane and was put on NSAIDs for the rest of my life. These drugs aren't without side effects but they did at least enable me to move and I realised that movement was my friend. I could hobble on to a squash court and force myself to play and would soon be pain free and sufficiently mobile that I would appear to the outside observer to be physically fit. However, I was very fragile and one wrong sudden movement would have me screaming like a girl.
This January I was lucky enough to enjoy three seperate weeks skiing holidays but at the end of the three weeks my whole lower body was in so much pain that I had to take to my bed and I realised that if I didn't do something I might have to consider quitting skiing, a sport which I love.
Not helping was the fact that even though I don't eat junk food I had hit 100kg in weight (I'm 5'7") and this had to change so I completely eliminated starch, lactose and sugar from my diet and have currently lost 10kg, more to go.
Now to get to the point.
Over the years I have spent fortunes with PTs and tried lots of different regimes to try to improve my mobility and I finally found one that I can relate to.
An Irish guy called Tom Morrison who is also a sufferer of AS has developed what he calls the Simple Mobility Method. He doesn't use ridiculous terminology, wears jeans and T shirts to demonstrate his methods, has long hair and tattoos and seems like a normal, average if slightly quirky bloke.
I started following him on youtube and a recent visit to my physio (who I've been seeing on and off for about 15 years now) ended with him saying he'd never seen me so mobile.
So, if you or someone you know are suffering from painful mobility issues I highly recommend him.
I started with the Simplistic Mobility Method and moved on to buying other programmes. All of them are very helpful. I have been in pain since my 20s because of a tissue connective disorder. I have several injuries in almost every joint. After 3 months of the Simplistic Mobility Method at the age of 48, I was able to safely get stronger and start building muscle by workouts and exercise that would have sent me to the orthopedist a few years ago. This is a program designed by people who know what they are doing. Extremely value for money as you get constant guidance through the facebook group even though it is a one time purchase. It really is a life changer and you can see all the hard work, honesty and care behind it.
I think the reason this program is so good because of Tom's autoimmune conditions, he actually gets it because he experienced it. He knows what feeling like a walking injury and chronic fatigue feel like and the work arounds you need to navigate and he encourages you to get to know your own body so you know what it can and can't do on any given day.
This program helps you identify your areas of weakness and imbalance and gives you tools/exercises to correct them, it rebuilds you from the ground up.
The regressions and super regressions make it accessible for anyone. There's no ego, just aid, and ways to help you get functional, mobile and painfree again.
At 52yrs with Lipedema, chronic fatigue, & HSD, I felt like I was fighting a losing battle physically, i was getting less and less mobile, and I am a qualified group fitness and personal trainer, but i could no longer function and was constantly injured and in pain.
I am 5 sessions in and really noticing the difference. My lax joints are finally being looked after and therefore my overcompensating muscles are chilling out, which means less fatigue and pain, I feel hope that I can rebuild and that is life changing for me.
I really like this program. I can see progress, but more importantly, I can feel the progress.
The explanations & exercises are easy to follow. From starting with the daily circuit, I immediately felt a reduction in my shoulder discomfort. Thank you.
the best thing about Tom & Co, is how much they give away for free. The programme is a one off price with help for eternity... everyone is very approachable and more to the point SMM works... do it now, buy it - you will have zero regrets.
I was fed up of seeing these so called fitness experts that were only interested in views and how they looked themselves.
Tom Morrison is the real deal, if you want to learn how to get your body out of pain look no further, literally delete everyone else's accounts.
Tom is a absolute expert that spends so much of his own time online helping people for free - I bought his simplistic mobility program and his posture fix - they can't be faulted.
That is not an exaggeration. We are both in our sixties, and our bodies were getting quite unbalanced and weak in areas from golf and pickleball and lack of a balanced strength routine. One month and I have gone from not being able to walk around the block without low back and hip pain to walking with ZERO pain. My pickleball game has improved and I just feel so much better overall. My husband’s balance is much better and his lateral glutes and other weak areas are getting stronger. As an avid cyclist, he was not getting lateral strengthening.
I bought level one and two and plan to buy three. Worth it!! We love Tom and Jenni!
Thank you for making this thing and community. I have fibromyalgia and hypermobility, and I've stuck with SMM for 3 years now as it makes a humongous difference to my pain levels and general ability to function when I do it regularly. The fact that it's made by people who understand injury and chronic conditions like this was what attracted me to it and the fact it helps me live a better life is what has kept me doing it. Having a system like this which is scalable and doable with no equipment is so so valuable, and I'd be in a much worse place both physically and mentally if it weren't for you lot!
I started using SMM when I was trying to heal from a herniated disc and was in physio for it. It was getting better from the physio but not to where I could actually run again. I kept seeing Tom around and then looked into the program more and figured why not? It looked good and had really good reviews. Although, I was sceptical of all the good reviews, it couldn't be that good could it?
It is that good. I promise. As long as you commit to doing it and actually give it proper go then you can definitely make a lot of progress. After about a month of having added SMM to my weekly fitness regime I was back to actually running. I was amazed! I still am! My physio had told me at one point that I just might not be able to run much again. I'm glad I didn't listen to her about that part and found this program.
It's amazing. Tom and his team are also amazing and SO responsive. SMM is amazing. I sound culty don't I?
Nuanced for injury and aging. Funny, thorough and kind. Also, effective! Love it!
I love it. It will allow me to age with flexibility and movement gently.
Although hard work at my age, the whole system seems well thought out, well argued and well presented in multiple formats, i.e. video and a written booklet with useful illustrations, as well as a summary document - excellent stuff.
Tom's teaching style is easy to follow and makes learning a joy. Providing I remember (routine is something I struggle with) to do the work, my various aches vanish.
SMM has helped me improve function in my arthritic hip. I had one replaced but would prefer to keep my other hip. The arthritis made it hard to walk up stairs or lift my leg into the car. I tried some of Tom's exercises on FB and decided to buy SMM after seeing some improvement. SMM made that improvement exponential. I can do stairs pain free and feel stronger and more stable.
Implementing SMM into my general fitness regime has helped me to understand my body better and where my weakness’s are. Tom throws out lots of really helpful stuff, free of charge, I bought his programs after using his free content and gaining so much from it. You can trail the internet for hours and find lots of contradictory advice and videos but don’t bother. This is a one stop shop and my absolute go to.
Thank you for everything you do Keep up the good work ⭐️
I have been a SMM and Tom Morrison fan for years. In a world where our social media is full of AI, fakes and people just wanting to sell you something and make money. Tom and the team are real, are genuine and actually want to improve your life. Yes they charge a very very small amount for the program, they could charge a heck of a lot more though. They are very open and honest with everything they do.
And this is not the best bit...
The SMM program is just brilliant - if you ache - do SMM, if you hurt do SMM, if you feel weak do SMM, if you want to get stronger do SMM - it just works for everything. I have not done the full SMM for a LONG time - but I will sneak in a few moves - whilst drying my hair, brushing my teeth - cleaning! its crazy how it can fit unto your everyday life.
Just get SMM you will not regret it (but you will actually have to do it!)
Oh and the facebook group has a wealth of info - the youtube page has so many FREE videos to help on every scenario..
Honestly get just SMM it is just worth it!
Thank you Tom, Jenn and the rest of the team
