My very ill mum ordered blinds 7 weeks ago and paid £100 deposit from her old age pension towards the £180 cost of the blinds , first lie : we don't do scallop blinds so you didn't order them from us , I have the receipt which can be uploaded for proof where it says scalloped by TOPCAT BLINDS also may I add the same company TOPCAT PAINTERS AND DECORATORS , next lie we will deliver your blinds in 2 weeks not delivered, mum phoned up to be told we don't have any of the weight bars which go on the bottom of the blinds , so they a blind company ran there stock of them so low they were waiting on them being delivered BULLSHIT, then they bring her the wrong blinds which she refuses to take , I emailed them explaining exactly what is wrong with my mum and asking for them in 7 days or her money back and got no reply ,then she phones again asking when they will be and is told they will be delivered 26th Nov, again after my mum being in Hospital overnight as an emergency she waited up all day again no show , she phoned on the 27th Nov to be promised delivery that morning , again lies as the fitter phoned her and said he was bring the same blinds she rejected to be fitted again she refused , she phones up again and tells the second in command that he has lied to her for 7 weeks and she tells him he's the problem for lying to her and his reply Was YES AM A BIG PROBLEM, this was to a 78 year old frail and very ill and upset lady , she told them her son would be coming for the deposit today 28th Nov, Guess what the blind factory and head office isn't there anymore as I went to it , TOTAL SCAMMERS WHO SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES , small claims court it is then
I wish I had looked at Trust Pilot before I ordered my blind from Top Cat Blinds, this company should be closed down for consistently lying and sending abusive messages to clients. Needless to say I paid by cash Card 2 months ago for a blind that was always getting delivered the next day, obviously NEVER got it !!!! Asked for a refund, NEVER got it !!!! I’m now going through the small claims court to retrieve my money.
We ordered Perfect Fit Blinds on 10th September, and paid 50% of the price given as a deposit. We were advised they'd take around 4 weeks to come in, which was not an issue. After the 4 weeks passed, I contacted for an update, and was advised they'd be in soon, chased up numerous times and was told on 2 separate occasions they were in and would be fitted the following week. Called twice on the second date I was given for fitting (6th Nov) and was told they would be there by 6pm that night - they didn't appear. Sent an email that night asking for a refund of my deposit. Received a call on 7th November where I was told that I had been lied to as the blinds had not even been ordered and they were trying to speak to the manufacturers to get a timescale. I explained I didn't want the blinds after this, I wanted my money back. My husband and I chased up numerous times and have finally been refunded today, 14th November. Avoid at all costs, the customer service is appalling.
Avoid Avoid Avoid ordered a perfect fit blind on the 24 September was told it would be fitted within 3week. Got told lie after lie to cut along story short I finally got told on the 7th November it hadn’t even been ordered . I asked for my deposit back was told it would be in at the end of the business day .It’s only took me until this morning 12th November to get it back after I came across some very interesting information about this company on the government companies house site

Eventually came to fit after chasing for updates on 1st Aug
2 blinds didn't fit & 1 was damaged
I have phoned TEN TIMES since & sent numerous messages but am told someone will call me or get back to me but just silence.
I messaged again yesterday to get a lame response of "thought this was sorted"
And blocked me from social media
Absolutely terrible service & to be honest their blinds are pretty poor, the ones they fitted are squint & theres dirt stains on one. Worst blind company I've ever unfortunately used.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Conmen who took deposit After I cancelled blinds, TOPCAT owed me a £40 refund. Numerous calls later, they told me that my refund had been processed & would be in my account by end of week(w/e 23 oct). When it was not in my account by today(30 oct), I tried to call. They have blocked my number, so can't contact them. These crooks are liars & thieves. Don't go near them.
They installed my blackout roller blinds on Friday 9 August 2024, 2 weeks late than the original install date and I have told them I’m away on holiday abroad the following week, multiple times calling the office and was told there was a delay because of the colour i ordered so I was given a fitting date on 6 August but nobody showed up so I called to check and I was told no one is coming and they still didn’t have the blinds done but because of my upcoming holiday this had stressed me enough so I was forced to change my colour so they’d come fit it that week on the 9th, I was told between 9-11am. The fitter, Robert, was late and came at 2:30pm and I had to rearrange my schedule because I had work to do in the afternoon! He finally came and installed it and said I’ll be getting my 1-year warranty by email. The blind wasn’t fitted properly because it doesn’t equally come out of each side of the window when it's down. On one side it’s 7cm, the other is 4cm! And I never got my warranty. I’ve emailed asking them to compensate me and they completely dismissed me in an unprofessional manner.
These people fitted blinds in my house the kitchen one is a joke when their “fitter” did my kitchen I obviously didn’t see the fittings (because of the front they put on it) since it’s been up I’ve only managed to be wiping it down (I’m disabled and live on my own) but a couple of months ago I got my neighbour to take it down OMG !! You should see this , held up with one screw and one and a quarter inches too narrow for the window . I know it was 18mths ago but I only saw the mess when it was taken down. They are refusing to do anything about it. Apart from anything else it’s dangerous. They’re SCAMMERS DONT GO NEAR THEM !!! Ignore the date please as I said it’s been ongoing. I think the fitter was blind
Would avoid these scammers at all costs, bought and paid for a blind in full, were due to come out and fit last Wednesday, took the morning off work and they didn’t show up, called them and advised someone would call back, no call back, phoned the next day, someone will call you back no call back, still had no call back. Awful customer service and not even an apology when I called.
Took over 6 weeks for the blinds to be fitted (was told 2-3 weeks for blinds to arrive.) This company is a disgrace to be honest, my partner waiting around my flat all day for the fitters to arrive and no one did, phoned up and said no one from their end had booked a fitter in, they then said they would organise a last minute fitting the following week. The fitter messaged me that day asking if I could make the appointment earlier as he doesn’t work past 6 so wasn’t sure why the company booked him in for 7. I had to leave work early to get my blinds fitted, owner did not get back in contact with me once I phoned up complaining and asked to speak to him. Please avoid.

Got 3 blinds in march 7 months ago, couldn’t open my windows £450. In constant contact saying they’re replace them, one fell off the wall. Came moved them up now they’re too short. After 7 months of promising new blinds I’ve had enough and asked for my money back. The owner Tony said he’d uplift my blinds , took yet another day off work but surprise they didn’t turn up .

So i wouldnt normally post but i just want to warn other people, so i ordered shutters in april 2024 and was told 12 weeks wait which was fine, were now on sept and still no blinds, after numerous phone calls and no returned calls we then decided to cancel our order and request our refund, after ignoring our calls and messages my partner then went to the unit in cumbernauld to then see that they were in the middle off moving units, he spoke to some guy who then said that we would receive our refund within 5 working days which thankfully we did and we ordered new shutters the exact same for £1000 cheapier, the other company laughed at the price we had got from topcat and said we were getting ripped off, if anyone is looking for their deposits then i would advise to go straight to the unit before they move, no one has ever apologised or nothing,
Waiting on refund of £800 paid on 14th August as Deposit for door n windows, cancelled 3 days later due to Rude Customer Service, no show up when planned, and hesitancy of a receipt for the Deposit!!!

Horrendous company with the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! Avoid at all costs!! I ordered shutters in February and still don’t have them by nearly September. Been lied to multiple times and then nobody returns my calls to let me know when to expect them or to my request for a refund. The manager, James, is a disgrace and has no conscience whatsoever.
I don't normally bother with reviews but people need to know what they are letting their selves in for with this company. Gave them one for the products but as usual once you have paid the money they just don't want to know. Empty promise of returning to put things right but with only one worker it is no wonder they never come back, this is a review from the heart make sure you do all your reviews before you go ahead.
Got our blinds from this company a week after we had someone out and measure the blinds. Very friendly and we couldn’t believe who cheap they were for full house.
The owner of the company and the fitting manager came out and fitted our blinds. One of them was measured wrong so the boss phoned his office and got someone to get us new ones. Very impressed with the company and didn’t take long to do. They were great with my 2 German shepherds who barked at first but once they were in fitting blinds they were absolutely fine. We definetly recommend the company and would use them again
Took too long to schedule appointments to get blinds fitted. While blind fitter did a fine job to get all blinds sorted - there was an additional and unfortunate incident regarding one which broke in the process. Almost four weeks had passed with absolutely no communications from Top Cat to inform when this would be returned and fitted. Despite having been chased up repeatedly.
Once, managed to get an appointment scheduled (they chose the day) and failed to turn up. Moreover, they failed to find any common decency to inform us they would not come.
No phone calls. No emails. Not even an apology. An absolutely appalling p*ss-poor experience from Top Cat who also failed, and rather spectacularly might I add, to accommodate a disabled customer in the process. Which, quite frankly, is against the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
Whole experience was unnecessarily and unexpectedly stressful and upsetting. I honestly cannot in good conscience recommend Top Cat to anyone.
I would avoid if I were you unless you are prepared to lose a fairly large amount of precious time chasing them up and do not expect any decent customer service.
Just do yourselves a big favour and avoid.
(To this day, I've still not received an apology for any of this which is upsetting as a disabled customer).
Got blinds from top cat last year the service was excellent. The blinds I ordered were ready and fitted in a week . Hassle free. I personally found the staff and fitter polite.
