I was contacted by Topperpay in the midst of an attempted “snagging” of personal info via an “alleged “ seller no longer available which just wasn’t true. I’d already been contacted with tracking info from both sellers. And neither one had any ties to Topperpay.

A Very Unhappy Customer
My computer was hacked on November 5, 2025. Funds were removed from my Bank accounts using Zelle and Interac E-Transfer. Also my Aeroplan points and Amazon accounts were used to purchase gift cards. Bitcoin was purchased through Topper using my US$Visa account. Two subsequent attempts to purchase larger amounts of Bitcoin using the same Visa account data were rejected by TD USA. In their "compelling evidence" arguments against providing a refund, Topper claimed that this Bitcoin transaction was consistent with my historical transaction behavior. This comment is patently untrue since I have never purchased Bitcoin. Topper claimed that in verifying the transaction they used facial biometrics, again this is untrue. They argued that I previously transacted with Topperpay using consistent credentials. Again, I have never purchased Bitcoin. Furthermore, per my Visa statement the Bitcoin purchase was effected from Latvia whereas my address is in Canada. According to Topper based on their investigation they found no evidence of third party involvement or unauthorized activity!
