I received the "Professional Package"…
I received the "Professional Package" as a graduation gift after completing my MPH. I had been struggling to really define my experience for the jobs I was applying for. Robin was assigned to my case and she made every step of the way so smooth. I thought it was going to be exhausting filling out and/or re-analyzing my experience. Robin was incredibly professional, and really read the supplemental information I gave her in order to see the big picture. She then, in a matter of a day, created a "federal" resume and explained the important pieces, three great cover letters, and optimized my LinkedIn page. Those were all things the package promised however, I feel she went above and beyond by just being gifted with seeing the person, focus, and great writing skills. Her email responses were almost like a little coaching session that I will hold on to while interviewing. Robin Lenhart is who you should request. Thank you TopStack Resume!

This company is committing fraud
This company is committing fraud. They are selling packages on their website with no mention of using AI to generate the documents. I learned from a writer that the owner of the company has been developing AI similar to ChatGPT that generates the career documents given to client. The employees are encouraged to use it to train the module. Very deceptive and unethical. I was provided a screenshot of the AI module that is clearly branded with TopStack resume.

Hi Nathalie, I'm the owner of TopStack, and I thought it'd be good to put a response here.
Our writers have discretion to use LLMs in the writing process, and we have internal tools that we've experimented with. Nothing that fancy. Like all companies, we're figuring out how LLMs can be helpful (and in what ways they aren't!). Our general approach to language models is that we want to use them inasmuch as they help produce better, more effective documents for our clients. Sometimes they're helpful. Sometimes they're not.
I have a non-technical background, and we have zero software developers or AI-personnel on our team. I created a few tools 1-2 years ago that our team can use. Some use them, some don't. I'm not even sure how to train an AI model or what that would entail. We come from a writing, coaching, and recruiting background. That's the makeup of the company, and we believe that background is essential to serving our clients well. We aren't investing heavily in AI tools, but we are interested in figuring out the ways in which they're useful.
I'm sorry we came across this way. I think perhaps you had the impression that the documents were 100% AI generated, or that we're a tech company masquerading as something else. When I saw your review. I had our Head of Resume Writing review your order and our support rep Pamela reach out. It actually looks like the overall experience you had with us was a positive one. If there's anything we could do better or if you have any pending questions, feel free to reach out.

I immediately got a response and the writer of my resume responded as expected. She send me the first draft within 48 hours if my request. I didn't have to pay until I saw the first draft. My writer was very responsive and made two small revisions. She gave me plenty of time to read my resume so I didn't feel rushed

Great for transitioning military members.
Anthony was very responsive and thoughtful with his answers. I'm close to military retirement, so I haven't needed a resume in over 20 years, and he was incredibly helpful, walking me through his processes and providing tips.
