Do not buy a used “certified” car here

Do not buy a used “certified” car here. Not only are the charging a $999 plus tax “dealer fee” the are also charging $75 for gas. My car was received filthy with the old owners info still in the dash, un cleaned and unchecked. They brought the vehicle to another shop for safety that took 11min, wouldn’t let me check the vehicle over inside without a 45min wait after being there over an hour. The all weather mats I had asked for were the wrong fit, the also just slapped them down on top of existing mats.

I asked to return the vehicle a day after once I got a good look at it, the sales person, Mohit was away on vacation, when he returned he attempted to be helpful however would not return the vehicle, would not return the illegal fees and did not give me the listing on their website so OMVIC could get them for these fees… since our conversation started on fb market place and he didn’t list the vin there…everyone I spoke to from finance to signing knew the fee was not “all in pricing” and continued as if this was normal practice.

On top of all this, although it passed the safety there was a rodents nest on the ignition coil, issues with lane keep assist and sensors, one non matching tire meaning my sensors are off all adding up to $$$ for me.
They took the trade, let it sit on their lot and gave it to me without anything but a safety done 15min down the road.

Avoid this place at all costs they do not care once you have money in their hands.

Did a poor job on the alignment for my…

Did a poor job on the alignment for my 2011 Honda Accord. They showed me a print out of it being aligned but the car still pulled to the right whereas before the alignment it was pulling to the left. They did not test drive it or 'give' me the print out for it. They said they topped up all the fluids.. they did not. I'll blame myself for going there. They advertised a $100 discount of any first time customers. Well, my service was not big money so they did a half ass job. The alignment needed a little bit more tweeking to make it go straight. There is nothing wrong with the tires. You did not test drive the car, so you don't know. It didn't cost me too much. To make sure my tires don't go bad... I'll go to a shop that believes the customer NOT just the apparatus.

On December 12

On December 12, 2025 my significant other and I purchased a vehicle and it was the worst experience we’ve ever had.

We dealt with Toronto Honda in Canada, Ontario and Mohit Kapoor was the salesperson. Who we were completely transparent with and Toronto Honda, Mohit Kapoor was disrespectful and slandered my significant other Shane, and was very unethical and unprofessional.

Mohit and Toronto Honda tried to add additional fees multiple times illegally against OMVIC regulations, I should’ve listened to OMVICs suggestion on their website and walked away and reported Mohit and Toronto Honda to OMVIC right away. Listed for $29,900 All in, plus “HST & Licensing”, yet proceed to inflate the price and put $30,500 on the bill of sale and added an “Administrative Fee” for the amount of $999.00 and pursued to argue and said he wouldn’t remove the illegal fees added. Next, after this was brought to his attention, conveniently “the wholesaler” backed out in Mohit’s words and now is only willing to offer $1000 less which conveniently is the exact amount of the “administrative fee” they charged on the bill of sale on top of their listed advertised price. However took off $1000 on my trade to compensate the $999.00 registration fee. However, upon reviewing the bill of sale, I noticed they once again try to sneak additional fees into the bill of sale for the amount of $75.00 for a “Gas Fee”. This is all under investigation with OMVIC.

Also we were pressured into making an uninformed decision by Mohit Kapoor at Toronto Honda, not looking out for our best interest, and strung along to drive over 12hours to a dealership to only try and reduce the trade value again (1st time conveniently right after I mentioned illegal fees added to the deal), after a 6hour commute one way, I was strung along again for more than 3 hours at the dealership, and Mohit didn’t even take the time to do the delivery and deal with the ongoing issues, and concerns and then had the audacity to slander me? Mohit sent me a “vehicle information” sheet to fill out, which I answered with 100% transparency, that is the only piece of information I was asked by Mohit Kapoor/Toronto Honda. While I was at the dealership the manager stated that apparently somehow there was a score of 8/10 for the windshield, when the only document I was giving to fill out has no mention of a windshield. Mohit Kapoor falsely filled out information without asking, verifying or gathering consent from Shane or myself, nor through all the correspondence buying the 2025 Honda Civic Sedan Sport did Mohit Kapoor ask if the vehicle had any damage at all, he only sent a vehicle information sheet, which we filled out with 100% transparency. The dealership held Shane for over 3 hours at the dealership and tried to demand they’re going to remove $700 from the $2000 cheque they owe me as they put a lien on the 2025 Honda Civic Sedan Sport to make the amount financed over “$30,000”, which Shane politely refused and did not consent to them removing $700 from the cheque, and stated he would like this to be settled through OMVIC and asked if he was free to go, which the manager finally agree’d and said yes, and was finally able to leave after being held for over 3 hours and when everything was signed (Bill of sale, registration transferred, everything completed) within the first hour of being there.

After going through all the paperwork again, we just noticed that Toronto Honda’s business manager also lied on our last credit application for the purchase of a 2026 Honda Odyssey.
We were fully transparent with the Business Manager, yet he chose to misrepresent me on the credit application. Also, after reviewing the documents we noticed an additional charge of $27 on the licensing transfer for a total amount of $59, when the transfer is only $32.

I’m shocked with this experience. I will never be purchasing from Toronto Honda again. 0/5 stars, worst experience of my life.

Do not buy a car here

Do not buy a car here, especially not a used car. They are not transparent about the condition of the car. I noticed an issue a couple of days after I brought the car home. When I called, multiple times, no one was available and my voicemails were not returned. I was finally told on the phone that they would resolve my issue. When I showed up for my appointment, the person I needed to see was not there. I went back later that day and was told too much time had passed since my purchase and I would have to pay for any repairs. They do not stand by their cars and do not care about their customers time.

Never order from TorontoHondaParts…

Never order from TorontoHondaParts online without picking up your item at their store. If you request for delivery, they will send a defective part and when you want to return it for reimbursement or replacement, they will ask you to bring the item to a supposedly professional mecanic even the item wasn't installed and still in a sealed package.
I bought a pair of Sway bar links. In sent me a defective at the first place knowing that a very few customers will return the defective item because they to pay the shipping and a 20%deduction.
The guy name Curtis H. will give dump reason to refuse replacement parts or reimbursement.
Don't waste your time and energy bying at that place. Big scam.

Worst repair centre ever

Worst repair centre ever. A few years ago I had an oil change and they forgot to put the cap on and oil spilled everywhere and I wasn't aware until my car unexpectedly started smoking. More recently I needed a windshield repair under warranty, and I swear my car sat there for an hour and they did nothing, and the damage was just as evident as when I left it, but they were able to bill the expense while doing no labour. I love the Honda brand, but this location pushes sales over quality service.

Broken Promise

We bought our 2019 CRV last May (2023) from Toronto Honda. At the time there was only one key fob available but the salesman (Roger) promised that they would supply a second fob. We have called numerous times to the parts dept (Soloman) over the last year and keep getting 'fobbed' off with a tale that the fobs are on back order - despite there being any number of locksmiths in the GTA who can supply replacement fobs within 24 hours. To add insult to injury, we keep getting emails reminding us to take our car in for servicing. Good luck with that. This dealership unfortunately just supports the stereotype of used car dealers - not to be trusted.

Long time customer $1500 of service

Long time customer $1500 of service. Mentioned a $50 incentive from Honda Canada the day after the work was done. Denied, said if I wanted to use an external promotion, that I’d have to mention it first. Not the first time they’ve not honoured promotions - they find a way to wiggle out. Told them that I’m not coming back. No follow up.

The experience was good, the team helped with every question/concern we had. They are a little pushy to close a deal but I guess that is expected everywhere.

I had a very good experience working on a deal with Farhan. He was very polite and professional, and I was able to get a pretty good deal on the HRV I was looking for.
He gave detailed explanations for every item in the final invoice w/o overloading me with irrelevant info. Highly recommend
