Extremely slow order despatch

Placed an order on T7 website for delivery. Took them 14 days to despatch the order (2 small nutrition products, both showing in stock) from T7 Petone. Emailed CS twice. No apology or explanation, just "this is normal". Long time customer, won't be back.

Abysmal customer service on return item

Recently ordered two pairs of Reef Jandals online from them, one $49.99, the other $79.99.

The $79.99 jandals had a defect in the sole (something was poking into my foot). Their returns page advises to courier them back, which cost me $14!

I was expecting them to send me out a new pair of $79.99 jandals, nope, they go and just refund my card for the $49.99 pair instead, that's it, no communication, nada. They clearly did this to save on 'shipping costs' as its cheaper to just refund me.

I get in touch with customer service, and they opened a case number for me and said they'd be in touch in 2 business days.

A week goes by and surprise, nothing. I contact customer service again, and the guy refunds me the balance, minus the $14 for the store credit they eventually gave me for the courier fees!

Eventually after lots of back and forth with their customer service, I in total get my $79.99 back, plus $10. Leaving me $4 short in this whole episode.

What a joke and I'll never buy from T7 after this experience.

no help at all they'll all bunched up together by the front desk passing off snide remarks about their one and only customer me to the male counterpart who whispered receipt to the girl serving me I got good hearing and after spending over $100 was asked if I wanted a receipt

terrible Customer experience

Click and collect still hadn't arrived after 2 weeks (was being shipped from a store only 20Km away). The local store now had the product in stock but I had to buy and pay for it and then try to cancel the click and collect order to get my money back. 2 hour wait on their phone line and sent e-mail instead - no reply as yet.

Had my bike serviced

Had my bike serviced, bolts supposedly checked. Two months later the chain guide fell. When I took it back I had to pay for a replacement even though staff person said it shouldn’t have come off.

Terrible customer service and rubbish items

Purchased a treadmill from torpedo7, it made a horrendous banging sound, had bits missing and the screen wasn't stuck to it I could see behind it. 3 weeks of emails that were ignored I then requested to have management contact me. I was offered a refund or replacement which I was told this isn't a known issue for this treadmill so was likely just a faulty machine. I got a replacement and it had the same horrendous banging..... this time round I was told it was normal and wouldn't refund. My children can't even watch tv while I use it because the sound is so bloody annoying. The time frame from when I ordered and they finally arranged pickup of the first one was 14weeks! Meanwhile it took over my lounge and was a trip hazard. I will never buy from this company again I am more than happy to pay more elsewhere so I don't have to deal with this terrible customer service and recieve rubbish items again.

DO NOT GO THERE!

Visited the shop once and staff were indifferent, not interested in my requirements. I looked around for a while and they said I could not try out any of the exercise bikes (almost sounded like a racist assault) so how the hell was I supposed to choose what I wanted! For the amount of money that I was willing to part with, I did not deserve this kind of treatment. That particular staff member (a bloke) was EXTREMELY unpleasant.

Now, upon reading the reviews, I have changed my mind. My purchase could have been a ghastly experience. What a shame!

"Returns process" not real

"Returns process" absolutely non-existent.
Bought a $300 rain jacket a few months ago that leaked on its first outing, leading my phone to become water-damaged and need replacing. I've filled in the returns form but had no reply for a month. I've phoned twice to see what's going on, and each time my form just gets forwarded to someone else who doesn't reply. Buying from Torpedo7 has been such an expensive mistake.
Was kind of hoping a bad review might motivate them to actually help me, but by the looks of the rest of these, there may not be anyone looking at the emails at all.

Torpedo 7…kids Swim vest

Recently purchased Large size Torpedo 7 swim vest flotation device for a five year old . The illustration online indicates the vest has a jock strap. The large size doesn’t and the device inevitably floats up over the neck and lower face . I reviewed the product on Torpedo website my review was not published. I previously purchased the device in smaller size approx 12 months ago so it’s been around a while but I note there are no published reviews. Whilst the small print indicates no jock strap on large the illustration is misleading

You charge for courier but shipping taking 26 days ?
do not understand how it takes 26 day to ship something from Hamilton to Christchurch. Need to look at your logistics. Why the courier charges if you only deliver 1 time with your own truck?

Disappointing Online Service

Disappointing Service. I wish I had checked the reviews before ordering a watch online from Torpedo7. Absolutely no contact and it has been 12 days. Visited the local store at the 8 day mark and they said the item had been picked but no idea on when it would send. It does not look like I am alone. Would recommend buying elsewhere if using online service.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service, went into the shop today after we had waited over a month for 4 items. The guy behind the click and collect couldn’t of cared less, and then had to remind him we had four items for collection not the one he handed us. I Inquired about a voucher as compensation with such slow delivery and the best the guy could do was to tell us to email the company. Unbelievable really, I won’t be shopping here anymore, Macpac wins hands down.

You think you are getting a great sale…

You think you are getting a great sale price but when the sale ends its then put on Club Special, everyone is a member so it the same. Then you get an email for an additional 10%. Fake sales, permanently "discounted" in different ways. Takes the shine off what you thought was a special price.

Ordered multiple T-Shirts 3 weeks before Xmas. Only a few turned up. Now waiting on a credit for 2 T-shirts.
Poor communication & staff uninterested in helping.

Ordered a click & collect At Taupo…

Ordered a click & collect At Taupo store. Received email to advise it was ready for collection. Arrived in store , took two staff members over 20 minutes of complete confusion to even understand what I was wanting to do. Showed them emails etc. Finally approached a lady staff member who went out back and got my ordered item within a minute. Two other staff still walking around in circles.

Bought a tent

Bought a tent, staff in tauranga is a bit clueless. They advertise a price for a new tent for $1149 on website. Kept telling me it's a secondhand price, show him second price is $899 on website. They told me there is a 3 week waittime now. If they send me a second tent you will see a very unhappy customer. Overall their reviews look poor. First experience with them is very poor.

Item never delivered
I bought a backpack on sale online. After it still hadn't been dispatched 24 days later, I chased it up with them and got told the item didn't arrive because they didn't have it in stock. In the end I managed to get a refund (which certainly won't buy me the same quality backpack as it was a clearance deal).
I am frustrated and upset, mostly about the fact that they didn't contact me. Mistakes happen but be proactive about it please T7. I will try and avoid buying anything from T7 in the future, what a shambles.

If I could give a zero I would. I ordered a tent in the sales, didn’t arrive for ages then finally got emailed saying not in stock. Then the website had exact same tent with word recycled added, but not on sale. Ordered another tent click and collect as it said in store, but now got told at least 10 day wait, which is after my trip! What a crap shopping experience, thanks torpedo 7 for ruining my trip and costing me the chance to purchase a good tent online during Black Friday sales. I won’t be back.
