Thursday I won £1900 and Friday afternoon I had this money on my bank Account.
Very good customer service.
Just asked me about my ID and proof of address.
Also today, sunday, I wonn £600 and there is no problem With my withdrawal.

Unfortunately my recent experience of the Tote is similar to many people below - opened an account made a small deposit won a reasonable sum on the placepot then decided to use a a little profit on the gaming tables 20 minutes later account suspended - no explanation - then an email from safer gambling team stating that I will have to produce all manner of documentation, pay slips, bank statements etc etc - I am in profit! The Tote are completely incompetent and their staff just read from a script - agree with earlier comment they used to be known as the Nanny Goat now just the Nanny State. They will just hide behind the safer gambling legislation but that is nonsense they should not be asking for so much personal information - I have told them they are risking contravention of the GDPR but they don't seem to care.

"Nanny" was only meant to be rhyming slang, but the Tote has really taken its nickname to heart. Refused to lift £500 a month deposit limit, despite me giving them 3 months' bank statements showing £15,000 in my current account, my passport and driving license, and answering all their nosy questions. Complete waste of time.

I only wanted to use Tote to get 10% higher returns on pool bets, but I shouldn't have bothered. The website is so slow and clunky, I struggled to get bets on in time even when they did allow me to deposit.

Had to close my account and request a refund of my credit. Will stick to Betfair in future. They take all Tote bets, the website is well-designed and quick and easy to use - and I am treated like an adult.

Worcester live place pot dividends are showing wrong only 2 qualifiers leg 4 after a non runner..Gloria na....subsequent live pool totals are way out as you have added the 3rd in race 4.

Utterly useless site! No excuse for their awful web design, given how much better other bookmakers' sites can make the betting experience.

Actually i was scared to deposit after i read all this negative reviews but i even made a withdrawal request just 5 min. sfter i deposited,just because there was no tennis sportsbook.They provided really good customer chat service amd i received the money into my account just in 2 days.

I can no longer bet on a horse to place at tote odds. They have become increasingly ridiculous. A 4/1 winner pays £1-10p the place,that's the same odds for a 1/3 favourite placing. Hardly anything pays the equivalent to 1/4 or 1/5 the odds,something needs to be done about it.

Avoid at all costs. Firstly, it's simply an awful site for betting. Definitely have a look around the website well before signing up. This alone will put you off, unfortunately I didn't do this, leading to my next point.

I deposited a large sum of money. I then looked to place a bet, not realising how bad the site was. I thought nothing of it and withdrew my funds.

Tote confirmed the withdrawal was being processed.

3 days later... no money had arrived. I went to log in to my account and I was blocked out, with no email being received as to why.

I went of live chat, and of course they decided to ask to verify me (they always do this at the point of withdrawal rather than depositing, they don't mind your money going into their pockets but as soon as you want it back in yours, they delay to process to verify).

I verified, making it clear i wish not to gamble with them anymore anyway. I got accepted.

Another 4 days on, still no money. They are now saying they want to KYC me... stands for know your client, baring in mind I do not want to be their client.

They have continued to hold onto my money despite my anger at wanting this back. I am not giving them the KYC info as it's pointless as I am leaving.

A smart-egg called Emily quoted about 15 terms to me, none of which bared any relevance to me.

I am left uncertain as to whether I will receive my money. Absolute robbery, 100% avoid using this company.

Tote is doing what Tote has always done so you can't grumble about 'best odds guaranteed' or taking an early price. Tote will never be beaten on SP which is fair enough. What gripes me a bit is the place returns - you could have a winner at 10/1 which would pay minimum £11 to the £1 stake but the place part might only pay £1.30 to a £1 stake. Tends to be always a lot less than SP place odds.

Another typical scamming site, how do these sites continue to operate, it’s unbelievable. Avoid this site the RTP is beyond a joke, they take forever to process anything including your I.D verification.

Recently opened an account with Tote and was very lucky and had a good win.
I was worried to get excited in fear it would not be an easy process to withdraw with being so new to the site.. but after quick email correspondence regards ID documents required to withdraw the money was in my account days later.
All people I dealt with on the site were very friendly and quick to respond to me.
By far the best customer experience - highly reccomend!

You can’t take a price so you only get what the horse returns no best price guarantee which gives this bookmaker a huge advantage. I started with £20 today and also deposited £20 on another bookmaker and placed the same bets on both sites just to work out if there was a difference on the other site I was able to take a early price on five selections I backed the same five horses on the tote site I got very lucky and got three winners. So I made a profit on Both sites

All of a sudden wanting
ID i have everything even bank statements same as card ,voters roll,proof of adress ,driving licence
I do not have photo id they have closed account and not accepting all other evidence
Gambling commission and gov say my ID is enough
Shame on you tote
1 year on confirmed id etc and answered questions about job
I now regret this none if theur business and intrusive not had this with any ither bookmaker im not a very big gambler to cut a long story short not account blocked again for how much i have bet by the way i have a £50 a day deposit limit
I now put all my placepots on with other firms and high Street bookmakers can see this lot goinging down the tubes

From a dreadful start, where the site wouldn't accept bets and the staff seemed clueless, they appear to have progressed somewhat. A major irritant remains the location pop-up stating that if I am outside the UK, functionality will be blocked. Of course I'm outside the UK. I'm in the Republic of Ireland. Time to get your act together.
