My daughter completed the 13-week touch typing course for her bronze DofE award. It has been everything we hoped and more. The lessons have been easy to follow and enjoyable, and the support the Type It! Team has given has been brilliant. They’re all very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely recommend this course to others.

Thank you to the whole team for helping my 11 year old to learn to touch type. The teachers were fantastic, very patient and methodical in their approach during in person and online lessons. I would highly recommend this course and welcome the opportunity for my daughter to return at a later date, to top up her skills if needed.

My son did an intensive 1 week course and found it invaluable in getting kick started on touch typing. He actually enjoyed the sessions which is a rarity !!

The course was well explained and simple to follow - it suited our son very well as he could complete it in a daily short session and all online. The feedback was timely and clear. All communication was professional and it was an excellent way to complete his silver D of E skill test.

Superb communication from initial contact through to the completion of the course. The set up instructions were superb. The lessons were delivered at the right pace for my son and he completed it feeling confident in his ability to build upon his success.

Such a great course for my teenager. Really straightforward and satisfying exercises and fun games with a clear progression. Very patient and consistent weekly support too.

A great platform for learning to touch type

I would highly recommend Type IT! Touch Typing. When I first contacted Tracy, she was very willing to advise on what would be best for my son rather than just offer a generic course. Wendy, who taught him, was brilliant at creating a teaching environment specifically for my son, he has really enjoyed the lessons and is now able to touch type. Wendy and Tracy were happy to go at his pace and be led by him, changing pace and lessons as required, but also move him forward at the same time. I was also given detailed feedback to help support him at home. He can now touch type and they have advised how he can continue to build on this going forward.

Our son undertook the 12-week touch typing course for DofE. Everything about the course was impressive; the delivery, administration, methodology and weekly feedback all ensured he remained motivated and learned so much. We have had three children undertake numerous DofE activities - this was one of the most enjoyable and effective ones any of them have completed. Thank you Type IT!

We had a very positive experience. I recommend the DofE typing course, my son was happy to do his lessons, he had weekly feedback from his tutor, and new lessons every week. My son has really improved his touch typing skills. They provided an excellent costumer service, great communication.

My son has just completed the course as part of his DofE and enjoyed the whole process. Helpfully, TouchTypeIT.co.uk also lodged all the necessary reports/documentation directly with his DofE Accessor for approval. My son chose Touch Typing for his Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Level skill. He was so excited about the progress he made through out the 13 week course. He enjoyed practicing and pushed himself to type faster without error.
Mahima gave feed back weekly and encouraged my son to do better. She was very patient and kind to him. Thank you.
He finds doing his school homework easier to complete with his new learned skill. Overall an amazing experience and highly recommend this course. I have no doubt that this skill will help him in the future.

Program was structured and was supplemented with practice options to work at your own pace. Scheduling was flexible and the feedback loop was very helpful. What was best about this program is that we could see measurable outcomes which was super important.

My child completed the course designed for DoE. The experience was smooth from start to finish, easy communication with the company, my child enjoyed the course and learnt a lot. Highly recommend!

Fantastic support for teaching our son to touch type.

When our son got a laptop in Yr 7 we thought it would be good to get him to learn to touch type. It has been brilliant. Really structured and straight forward with bite size chunks of learning and repetition. Definitely would recommend.

As an adult who has a busy job and struggled to practise touch typing regularly, getting a tutor and completing the exercises offered by Type IT! has been incredibly helpful. My tutor Mahima carefully looked at my scores, gave me feedback and new exercises once a week, which meant I needed to practise consistently and was committed to someone. I renewed the course several times as I found it so helpful. Would recommend for sure!
