I love the format of this course. Great use of technology and remote instructors are closer to what’s going on than they would be in the classroom. Weekly voice notes for updates and personalised learning experience works well. My daughter really enjoyed it, and I am happy that this is a skill for life. Thank you!

My 12 and 10 year old boys have just completed this course with their school. Keeping the group engaged via an online course can have been no mean feat. Tracy and her team did a fantastic job, the homework was even done without too much nagging. Well worth it.

Where do I start? I cannot rate this service highly enough. I had no idea how much I would enjoy typing, and how much difference it would make to my life. I am self employed so anything that makes admin easier is a bonus. Wendy and her team are encouraging, enthusiastic and dedicated. Their support was very appreciated.

My daughter who has dyslexia and other learning difficulties recently completed this course for her silver Duke of Edinburgh. The team were incredibly supportive and helpful and she thoroughly enjoyed the course. She was taught well and encouraged throughout. She has learnt a really valuable skill in a very enjoyable way. This course really helped me to be able to touch type. The videos and instructions are easy to understand and practice really does help typing to become an automatic process. My tutor Wendy always gave constructive feedback every week and gave clear instructions for the lesson plan. I need to build speed now but I feel I have a solid foundation on which to do this. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning this skill. Thanks so much.

Really kept my son motivated with weekly chunks of activities which were achievable with school work and other commitments. Fantastic on time feedback from Sharon each week and the 12 weeks seemed to go very quickly. A very useful skill for any teenager and although it was initially completed for DofE purposes will be a useful life skill for wider benefit.

The holiday programmes and teachers are excellent, pitching things at just the right level for my 12 year old daughter. I appreciate how well organised the courses are, with realistic but easy-to-follow advice given regarding the preparatory and follow-up work needed to get the most out of the learning experience. Tracy and team did an amazing job in teaching my children how to type. They were very organised and provided daily feedback which was very helpful. I would highly recommend Type IT! Touch Typing to anyone who is interested in learning how to touch type.

We did two separate weeks for each of my twins. Both of the teachers were absolutely excellent - they each managed to tailor the lessons to each of my twins' (different) strengths.
My son particularly enjoyed learning online alongside others and found the teacher's attitude very positive and encouraging.My daughter loved the games and was so happy that after just one week she had learned all the keys and could type whole paragraphs. I can already touch type but have also picked up some useful tips and my accuracy has started to improve.

Just wanted to give a big thumbs up to the team at Type IT. The entire process from the intro phase all the way through to the post course follow up including of course the actual week long course itself was 5 star. My son’s level both in terms of ability and confidence has grown exponentially. I would strongly recommend Type IT to anyone looking to quickly go up a few notches in their touch typing level in a short space of time.

Very good course for kids. 5 days gives a good basic technique. Now it is time to practice to improve accuracy and speed and this only comes with practice, which is normal. Therefore, parents should not expect miracles after 1 week of training. There are also additional courses available to improve the skills.

Thanks to all the teaching staff at Type IT. I started with my children and we all have made gained over the past 2 weeks. Our typing has improved and my children loved the teaching and how patience the teachers were . The feedbacks we got every time we were given a lessons to do helped us so much. I will definitely recommend Type IT to any parent or family member it worth every bit , a lifetime skill to have under your belt. Type It did a great job for my 10 year old daughter. The staff have been very helpful and friendly. Before we started working with Type it my daughter hated typing and found it boring and refused to practise, after just 1 session she was enthused to keep going and practise. We are still working with the team and they are attentive and proactive in keeping the process moving forward.

My daughter (age 11) has completed a one week course (5 mornings, 2 hours each morning) with Type It and she enjoyed it so much that she has asked me to sign her up for another course before the end of the summer holidays. The tutor was very helpful and encouraging, and also extremely patient - my daughter learnt a great deal after only one week. The teaching groups are small and they use some great software that is very interactive, which makes the learning enjoyable and rewarding for children. When the online lessons are over, the software is still available for the children to keep practising in their own time. It's a great skill to have and my daughter says she feels really confident now about using it when she moves into senior school. I would definitely recommend it to other parents and their children. Thank you Type It for such a great course and we are looking forward to the next one too!
