Ordered a PS5 and headphones. Got a confirmation and delivery time. So called Black Friday deal.
The next day, they send me a note saying PS5 is out of stock but they still sent the headphones.
Have you ever ordered a burger but they only give you the bread and say "sorry we have no patties left but here's the bread"
Headphones are useless without the console!
Delivery charge is non refundable.
Classic Black Friday Scam.
Complained but only got a AI bot response which was generic content nonsense. Insulting.
Never going there again. Would like to give no stars!

Perfect service, apart delivery.
All sorted quickly but GLS left the two boxes outside the door without even ringing the door bell. Poor delivery service that ruin the great job done.

Received an open box, no labels inside for return or to list the items in the box. One item was missing. Contacted customer care and asked when the last item would be delivered. I was told to go away not their problem. I don't select who delivers the items. The box was open and wet. I also send a picture of the box. Smyths is more then a disappointment.

I placed an order online on Saturday evening and lo and behold, it arrived at 8.30am this morning, Monday. You cannot fault that kind of service.

Bought a pram system and all my baby items and I've got to say customer service was amazing! Friendly and very helpful! Didn't push sales and absolutely love my experience!
I also do most of my Christmas shopping here as prices are so good and beat other places!

Always get good value, quality & good customer service. My go to for reasonably priced kids toys. Excellent range of baby necessities & toys for big & small kids, as well as board games for adults. We love Smyths ❤️

Absolute worst customer services to deal with. I have now received 2 faulty travel systems. None of the stores ever answer the phone, there is no customer service number and when I email them I get an AI reply to say pop into your nearest store which is over 50km's away. Dreadful company to deal with 0 out of 10

Had a great experience at the cork store. Had a good selection of everything I needed and Katie in the baby department was fantastic!

Worse experience ever, went in to buy a baby stroller and had one picked out, asked for help from a young lady who was dealing with this section but she had no clue what she was doing or talking about, she said the guy who was dealing with the model i wanted was on his break and would be back in 45mins, i asked for the display model but she said i would have to wait. So i drove the extra few miles to Kelly's toy store in Tullamore and was out inside 5mins with a better stroller at a cheaper price. Worst Experience Ever at Smyths - Faulty Product and Appalling Customer Service
I recently purchased a trampoline from Smyths, and my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. My husband and I painstakingly assembled it, only to discover a faulty spring right at the very end of the process. Given how incredibly frustrating and poorly written the instruction manual was, my husband was already incredibly annoyed with the whole assembly. He had to completely disassemble the trampoline, which, as you can imagine, only added to his frustration.

When I returned to the store to request a refund, I was met with unbelievably poor customer service. The first staff member who assisted me accused me of damaging the spring myself! This was absolutely absurd and infuriating. It would be humanly impossible to damage a trampoline spring by simply pulling on it too hard. I told him this was ridiculous, and I was incredibly upset to be accused of something I clearly didn't do.

He then called the manager, who, shockingly, was even worse. Instead of apologizing for his employee's outrageous accusation, the manager insisted that I could have damaged the spring with the tool provided in the box. Their refusal to acknowledge the clear manufacturing defect and their insistence on blaming me was deeply offensive.

By this point, I no longer wanted the trampoline at all. I felt so insulted and disrespected by their staff. This was, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life.

Another product bought that has to be returned. This is third time this has happened within a calander year.
Extremely poor form that a product has to be returned simply by the fact it doesn't work. It's not easy to return products when you don't live close to these stores. An absolute disgrace.

Carrigmines store avoid at all costs. Prices at the till doesn't match prices on the shelves, rude unhelpful staff.

This was my second visit to Smyths Toys Kinsale Road on behalf of my daughter/grandchildren. Both times the staff have been amazing, so helpful and courteous, going out of their way to find the toys for me.

Bought a 50 euro PlayStation gift card, after coming home and trying to redeem my gift card it doesn’t work and says it’s invalid. Tried contacting them and nothing. Thanks a lot

Completely rude manager liam! And his BFF buddie pretend manager Steve! what a pair of T00Ls they are! ,worst returns policy I've ever heard of, should be illegal. Don't buy anything from these theives because there is no return unless the product is faulty.
Tried to return an non opened product that was as was incorrectly sold to me for Christmas @£50 by there own staff ,only to be told that unless the item is faulty there is no return, or refund, worst thing of all is that you don't see this so called policy they have anywhere in the store, you only get to see it on the back of the receipt after you have bought it ! Both managers are rude and smarmy! Think they are boyfriends Definitely won't be buying from again, after a complaint to there head office they did nothing and blocked my number from calling them again , real profesional company this is! looks like amazon wins again , bring back toys r us and get these idiots boycotted, especially the LongBridge store !

If you need to return something just break it seems the only way to get ur money back! Or even better just dont buy anything from them at all !!

Today we visited Blanchardstown baby section in Smyths, we meet Roisín who was so friendly and helpful. Customer service was excellent and Roisín had a great knowledge and expertise of all things babies and their needs. I would recommend Smyths as I felt the service we recieved and the price was exceptional. We will be back after baby arrives in July for more advice and products, Thank Roisín.

I visited the Sligo store yesterday as I had a issue with an item I needed to return due to a fault in item. I was dealt with by a assistant named Glen. I very rarely write reviews positive or negative but the manner in which Glen dealt with my issue impressed me so much I feel compelled to give him credit. The review may have no reflection on the store but is directed for Glen specifically. It was slightly complicated the issue I had but the professional manner Glen approached my problem was exceptional.He made what was a stressful problem for me.... A easy and stress free experience.Working during the Xmas period is difficult but he greeted with a smile and solved my issue swiftly and competently. Top class service from the young lad. Five stars Glen

Horrible, we went there a month ago in carrigmines, to get a little mercedez with remote control, for christmas to my daugher, and they gave us the one without the remote control, and we paid for the other. Now we we're trying to set the car for the christmas day, and it is the wrong one. We dont even know where the receipt is,cause its been long ago. That's a disgrace. We can't even bring back! I remember the day we got, we couldnt get a person to help us, and when we got the person was just a l useless lad.
