Excellent broker. Charting is not very good, but it offers integration with TradingView and all else is fantastic. Recommended.

Having moved from TD365 I wasn't sure how quick TN would respond, and this being one of their busiest days thought they might be slow.

While TD365 accepted traders with residence in Spain, Tradenation does not. Trying to open Tradenation account but I get a message that “service not available in Spain”.
Why is that?

Due to regulatory requirements, we are currently unable to onboard residents of Spain. We understand this is frustrating, however we do not offer services for such region.

Terrible experience since TradeNation…
Terrible experience since TradeNation took over TD365. Could not deposit money giving errors. Also saying I have wrong password even though I am using the correct password. Works on phone, but not PC. But deposit do not work anywhere.
I'm moving away from this firm.

Edit (March 06): To cut it short, do not expect to be able to trade commodities or certain single stocks. There will almost always be a problem with some of them. If you stick to major indices or foreign exchange pairs, you should be fine.

In many ways I like TN, but it's just happens too often that you get the "Sorry, we are currently unable to allow open trades/orders on this market." when trying to open a position. You never really know if a given asset is available or not. Feels too random.
