Didn't work get a local SIM on arrival

Specifically bought Morocco DataSim and not the Africa Sim package didn't work, I immediately got an IMWI local SIM 20gb and minutes and texts for 20 Euros...easier and CHEAPER option and would recommend this or Maroc Telecom, cheap as chips!

Can get at Marrakech airport and they setup browsing, texting and calling through the helpful stands in less than 2 minutes....I would recommend local SIM option.

Any connection difficulty I had was…

Any connection difficulty I had was swiftly resolved when I asked for help by e-mail..
The only catch was that my iPhone was uploading any photos I took to iCloud using up my Transatel data allowance, I corrected this situation when I became aware of it.

It works well!

I once bought an Airbox from Orange in France and to get it working, they said they needed to send me a code to a cell, which had to be French. Of course my cell was from another country so the whole thing did not work and I tried for hours to get them on their tech support line, but they kept saying let me transfer you to the right department (after waiting to get through) and then the line hung up. It was awful and the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life!

So I was a bit apprehensive trying the Transatel Data SIM but actually I just turned it on and it worked, it found the network for that country. I have used it in Greece, Germany, Croatia and France, all worked well. You can also see on their web site how much data you have left. I am very happy and will use it again. I also called them twice and each time they answered quickly and provided me with the information I needed.

Good to have when traveling

I have been using the Transatel Data SIM when traveling in Japan, China, India and in Europe (Poland, Spain, Portugal and Italy). I use it with my Netgear portable router which of course depends on the local mobile network for coverage and speed. The Transatel SIM is very reliable and can be easily monitored and managed through their app. What I like most is that I can stay connected and use Waze or Google maps to navigate when driving a car (or even walking around) in foreign places.

Thank you for your feedback. We regret to hear that you did not receive your SIM card on time. All orders are shipped within 24 hours. Local posts and delivery companies we work with usually deliver on time but maybe a punctual/exceptional event had caused that situation.

If it happens that SIM cards are not delivered, we do refund our customers. But if they prefer that we resent it/them to the address they will be staying at in Europe, we also can do it and with no extra fees of course (normal shipping).

I have the SIMM useful but find the app…

I have the SIMM useful but find the app and processes not as friendly as another SIMM I use in the US. Price wise I am not certain where I could find a SIMM locally with better value.

Works well, data package got activated at registration

Ordered package and SIM for travel abroad.
SIM arrived within 7 days and it was easy to register for use. Data Package got activated at registration (not ideal for all), would prefer activation with button (in app).

Worked well for my needs will add package next trip when abroad to get max time.

Bought 1GB DataSIM for Caribbean and it…

Bought 1GB DataSIM for Caribbean and it didn’t work- had several call and email with support and the only feedback I got was “We will write you” - Phoned and write support everyday day for 10days and completely frustrating that there was no explanation for what the issue was and what they where investigated. When I came home and wrote on social media they finally wrote :Yes - the provider in Caribbean doesn’t work “ :-(((

Feedback from Jordan, Israel

I used Transatel DataSIM card in Jordan and Israel. I am satisfied globally. However there were some issues:
1) There was no internet connection in many locations in Israel, especially in the West Bank.
2) When there were connections, the speed was slow (H /H+ instead of 4G).
On the other hand, Internet connection was pretty good in Jordan. 4G internet was available everywhere, even in the desert!
