Same experience as others

Same experience as others. Spammer scammer.

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me. We’re a small nonprofit with a fairly limited budget for an upcoming project where we would like to use domaincom, so we’d only be able to move forward if the price is affordable for us.

With that in mind, could you let me know the lowest price you’d be willing to accept for this domain?

Many thanks,
Andrew Lee

They tried to contact me to buy my domain "Hi. I’m ****** from *****.org. I’m interested in acquiring ****.com. Are you the right person to speak with? Please get back to me at *****@transparencytrack.org".
I Googled, and I found another report on Trustpilot about it, so I wished to report the same problem.

Email spam and scam

Their "Entity number" is a made-up number; they are NOT at 501(c)(3), and their "place of business" doesn't appear very business-like.

Avoid them at all costs.

Great initiative

Great initiative! Data + Transparency are key in today's environment. Wish the team all the best with the upcoming platform that I believe will be super helpful in tracking the environmental footprint of major corporations.

Domain acquisition SCAM

I came across Trustpilot when researching Transparencytrack org, after also receiving an email from "Andrew Lee".

Thanks to previous reviewers who have flagged this fake nonprofit as a scam!!!

As far as I can tell the Kentucky entity number is fake. Searching for the domain "transparencytrack dot org" also returns basically zero results. There are no trust signals with this so called transparent organisation. Massive red flag. Avoid!!!

Hi there,

Andrew here from Transparency Track. I’m interested in acquiring [redacted].com, but I’m not sure if you’re the right contact.

Do you own this domain, and is it available? I'd appreciate any answer, even a "no" so I can pursue other names.

Thank you,
Andrew Lee
