# $5,100 Invested
# $5,100 Invested — Nothing Delivered, No Refund, and No Samples Returned
My experience with Trasso Boots and the people involved in this project has been extremely disappointing.
I approached Simon and his company to develop and manufacture the SPECIALTY boot. I paid $2,600 for development work and supplied approximately $2,500 worth of physical samples, including boots and other materials, to help them produce an accurate prototype.
What followed was a frustrating series of delays, communication problems, and disagreements.
Simon and Tobias were presented to me as partners in this project. However, things eventually deteriorated, and I was left caught in what appeared to be an internal dispute between them. Tobias ultimately informed me that Cortes Trasso had decided to discontinue the development project.
I was never given a satisfactory explanation of what happened between Simon and Tobias, who actually had the authority to make that decision, or why their internal problems had to become my financial loss.
The development work itself was also disappointing. Important design instructions and physical samples were not followed correctly. Stitching details were wrong, the boot proportions were not what I requested, and critical design features remained unresolved. After months of delays, I still did not have an acceptable finished prototype.
On October 19, 2026, I was informed that the project was permanently discontinued. I was told that development materials, patterns, supplier information, and samples would be inventoried and handed over.
Since then, I have received no refund of my $2,600 development payment and none of my physical samples have been returned.
I have invested approximately **$5,100** in this project and have absolutely nothing to show for it.
To make matters worse, communication has been practically nonexistent. Emails go unanswered, phone calls and text messages have not produced meaningful responses, and attempts to contact the company through its website have been unsuccessful.
I have not received a satisfactory accounting of my money, confirmation of when my samples will be returned, or even a meaningful explanation of what is happening.
Let me be clear: Simon and Tobias may have their own business disagreements, but customers should not have to pay the price for internal company problems.
I trusted these people with my money, my product designs, and valuable physical samples. That trust has been seriously damaged.
**I paid $2,600, supplied approximately $2,500 in samples, received no acceptable prototype, no refund, and no returned property.**
I would strongly encourage anyone considering doing business with Trasso Boots or the people involved to proceed with extreme caution.
I am still waiting for my money and my property to be returned.
