Oh gosh, this company is truly a scam. We booked flight tickets, but the system automatically changed the date from April to September twice. We had to fix it before continuing to fill out the information. Then, when we used a US credit card to pay, the payment failed twice. We had to re-enter the information, and the date changed to September again. We adjusted it once more. Only when we used a domestic (Vietnamese) credit card did the payment go through, but the confirmation still showed September.

We immediately called to request a cancellation or date adjustment. They claimed we had no evidence of the date changes (demanding a screen recording—who records their screen while booking flight tickets?). They refused to cancel and demanded an exorbitant fee to change the booking date.
Now we understand why they rejected the US credit card payments: they likely wanted us to use a Vietnamese credit card, which offers less protection for customers when reporting scams like this.

No bad words can express my disappointment with Vietravel Airlines. Fix your system if you’re dreaming of becoming a world class airlines. I’m hoping that someday all we can read are good reviews.

Our booked flight with Vietravel Airlines flight# VU302 (from Phu Quoc airport to TSN airport) cheduled for 19:10 4/15/2025 (departure time) with (scheduled) boarding time at 18:30 at Gate 5. We (me and my wife) arrived at Phu Quoc airport early (around 17:00), went through security check point successfully, then came to Gate 5 waiting. Around 18:30 no airport/airline staff was seen at Gate 5. We, among with may other passengers, kept on waiting. No words on PA, no notices on big-screen monitor are heard/seen. Finally suddenly around 19:35 an on-screen notice popped up saying "flight# VU302 departing for HCM city has been delayed due to plane arriving late, and check-in gate has been switched to Gate 2". Why flight# VU302 arriving late? Why the PQ airport or Vietravel Airlines couldn't notify the passengers via PA and or big-screen officially properly timely for such a long delay? Flight# VU302 ended up departuring at 20:45 and arrived TSN airport at 21:30 4/15/2025. If I could, zero star is what I would rate this airlines. First time me and my wife flight with Vietravel Airlines and it was a HORRIBLE experience. I'll make sure that I avoid this very-first-travel-airlines-in-Vietnam next time.

👎👎👎 Extremely disappointed with Vietravel Airlines.
Our flight was rescheduled nearly 12 hours earlier without proper notice. Only one passenger received the email, no SMS or call, and even worse, I was still able to buy checked baggage a day before via their hotline without being informed of the change.
When we contacted customer support, they ignored key facts, denied responsibility, and refused a refund, despite clear system failures. This caused major disruption, financial loss, and stress for our whole group.
Be careful when booking with them — poor communication, no accountability, and disappointing service. 👎👎👎

Do not use this airline!!!! AVOID!!!! Read all the reviews they are all true! I wish I had before I booked!!!
Been sat waiting for over 8hrs for a 1hr flight. Delayed twice. No explanation. No compensation. No customer service. Ruined our ongoing trip. The airline should be stopped from operating. Worst airline I’ve ever had the misfortune to fly with. Not even an email to tell me it had been delayed. Nothing. Absolute joke!!!

My flight is ereased, noone tell us , no information, no help desk, no mail for inform us before.The desk of the company like desert.... We just arrive at the airport and know that our flight not exist anymore. Loose a lot of time and money.The people at the airport say this company have a lot of problem anytime.
We try to do check in online the day before and simply they say not possible to do it and try again later, not say the flight is erase so we can manage better the problem.DON'T FLIGHT WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

The airlines have rescheduled my flight which is delayed by more than 12 hours and now they are not responding to my complaint as well when I asked for a refund. This is a pathetic airline and would not suggest to book ever. Airlines can respond to my complaint on to discuss and resolve the matter.

I just repeat what ALL people already wrote. This airline is A SCAM! DON’T BOOK IT!!!!! Authorities have to stop this operation IMMEDIATELY!
At the information desk at the airport they were sooooo tired of answering the same questions regarding this TERRIBLE airline. AVOID AVOID

Would’ve given zero star if I can. Absolutely joke of an airline. Delayed the flight the day before for 2.5h and then another 1.5h on the day. No support, customer service nonexistent. AVOID AT ALL COST!!

Worst airline ever! Booked through AirAsia website, they should remove this company from their website as will not be using AirAsia again due to my experience. No communications regarding delays. Delays were so at such a time that had to book new tickets through a different airline ended up costing double my original budgets for costs.

I don't even think 1 Star is a true reflection of how terrible this airline is. None of their flights are on time and the delays were +5 hours late. I don't understand how they have been allowed to operate! Ended up having to pay lots of money to get on other airlines so we didn't miss connecting flights. They should be banned from operating!!!!

Flights keep getting reschedule! It's so annoying esp when you had urgents things to get done!

Our flight das delayed almost 7 1/2 hours, no comunocation, no information, nothing just let us clueless at the Airport. Not even the employees at BKK Airport knew whats happend to our flight. Never fly Vietravel airlines again. Would not recommend!

Unreliable airline, they often change your flight at their convenience. Stay away.

Terrible experience, I ve living in Vietnam for 8 years and this was my first and last time flying with this "airline" they changed my.flight many times and received in one day ablut 15 phone calle and sms all of the with incorrect info about my flight, website terrible experience, when you try to see your booking information all the time says that is not possible because you are not an agent, In Bangkok no personel to give basic information such as gate and departure time, you have to find the info by yourself, dont waste your time and money flying with them, instead pay a little bit more but get a nice experience with other airline such as Vna or Vietjet.

This is really a scam brand. Never experience this, warn everybody who want to travel by this!!!

I have travelled to 34 countries and take >200 flights and this is the WORST and completely BULSHIT airlines.
First of all, they delayed us 4 hours, pushing our flight from 8pm to midnight.

Second of all, we paid for 2 checked bags, each was 15 kg so the total was 30kg. Our checked bags was 10kg and 19 kg- which is 29kg together. they didnt allow us to go, the make us fk upgrade to 23kg bag (20$ fee). They then checked our carrying on and we was over by 2kg per person, so 9kg per person instead of 7kg. Usually it isnt a problem for other airlines, but they wanted us to pay so we just pay to avoid the trouble. We paid for additional 9kg.
We didnt have all the space to fit our things into the checked bags so still have 2 kg extra in our carryon. They didnt allow us to go and bullshited that they will weight our carry-ons at the gate so they wanted us to FIT ALL our extra carryons into our checked bags and made us to re-arrange our luggage the 3rd time. They ALL go in the same plane for god’s sake.

I am tired of this nonsense, they delayed the flights for 4 hours and didnt compensate for us a penny. We paid extra luggage and still wanted to trouble us. Please AVOID them at all costs

Unfortunately, this is a scam airline. I warn everyone not to book any flight with Vietravel. In two occasions, I've lost my flights without any communication from the airline, apologies or a refund. Customer service is inexistent. The first time, the airline simple cancellled the flight and on the second time, the airline changed the departure time, which made me lose my connection flight and the entire trip.

By reading other reviews, I understood that this is the airline scam technique. To sell as many tickets as possible and then change the departure time or cancel flights and not process refunds for it.

My trip is completely ruined. booked a round-trip flight, and four days before departure, they cancelled my outbound flight and move it to the same day as my return. And guess what? The new departure time is later than the return. Pathetic by all means, am I supposed to fly back before even arriving? Customer service? The worst and the most useless I’ve dealt with, made us sent emails to ask for a refund then never reply. It’s funny, I got scammed before even going.
