Total SCAM company

Total SCAM company. Avoid.

Phoned before booking to check baggage allowance. Was told 2x 23kg plus 7kg hand.

Booked a flight. Got confirmation. Baggage alloeance was 30kg total.

Then was told that the price had risen from 694 to 927 because the lower fare wasnt available. Tried to pressure sell a higher price ticket. Said that flights sold are subject to ATOL protection which is NOT true.

Booked with another supplier the same flight at 699

Reported to CAA ATOL and trading standards.

HORRIBLE SCAM

I would give them negative stars if I could. We booked our tickets as a group and received an email acknowledging our order. A few days before our flight, we contacted customer service to make sure our flights were confirmed and they CANCELED. They would not have even contacted us if we did not message them to make sure. We would have shown up to the airport not knowing they canceled. They were also terrible at responding and it took several tries to get someone to stay in contact with us. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. EVER.

I never received the e-tickets

I never received the e-tickets.
I mailed them several times but they never replied after they charged me.

They finally emailed me the e-ticket info.

Buyer Beware: No compensation for company-made mistakes!

To the manager: the agent responsible for this poor quality service was managing my booking, Booking Ref: TCBUK31346

Travelcation booked my flights, I confirmed I then went to book my accommodation and plan my trip.

A few days later they called me telling me my flights were not available and I could either cancel my booking or pay a higher price. Problem was that I had booked everything and planned my trip for those dates I was able to get tickets for, and those prices were the lowest around. So I had no choice but to pay a higher price due to misinformation on the company booking website. I requested compensation but they said there is nothing they would do for me and that I had to sort this problem out by myself. The agent was rude and unhelpful and now I have to pay more money for no fault of my own. Buyer beware!

i bought a ticket from them yesterday…

i bought a ticket from them yesterday morning and then waited all day but didnt received any e-ticket or confirmation, upon calling several times i was given an excuse that some system problems going on. finally today i called again and spoke to a representative and they said the price has now been changed and if u need ticket then pay more so i asked them to cancel and thanks for wasting a lot of time and not even being sorry for it.

It’s a total scam folks

It’s a total scam folks, don’t bother.

I cancelled because you could not fulfil the booking. This is the only company I’ve heard of who says this is a problem of the system, when every other online travel company a) honours the prices they quote, and b) know what they are doing.

With this business model I could be a travel agent. ‘Sell’ a flight to a customer then call said customer and say you can have that flight, but you must pay me more. Terrible!

The companies reply below is fabricated. I was able to buy the same ticket a couple of hundred pounds cheaper than what they up-quoted after the fiasco. So the evidence still suggests deceit as dos the unscrupulous search campaign. Every other company on that search results list on google flights was willing to honor the same price they quoted, except for this unscrupulous company. Readers are not stupid here, they read more than one review and get a balanced opinion.

I'm a frequent traveller and have used more agencies that I can remember, but these guys take the award for the worlds worst travel agency.

They pull you in with cheap flight ads, then call you back at the last minute to say they can't honor the price because the airline wont issue the tickets. Question them a bit and its clear that they have a scam going on. They then try to extract more money out of you or tell you to go buy your ticket elsewhere. Disgraceful and unethical practices. This is not the last they will hear of this.

Great customer service

The booking needed to have changes due to the flight being full. I received a call from Scarlett offering me the options and she professionally guided me through the changes and seat assignments. She even gave me an additional discount from the already discounted price. Great work!

Wonderful experience

I booked my flights from London to India with Travelcation in August but recently we had to change the date of our return flight due to some family emergency. ticket price change

booked a return flight via Google flight link, next day got a call from travelcation saying they wont issue the ticket because airline updated their price and its now more than doubled. Agent Scarlett Woods helped me secure my tickets although I did have to pay few hundreds pounds extra. She was very calm and guided me through the process while I was in a panic.
missing one star because of the unexpected cost, would be 5 star review if they honoured the original booking price.

Raymond Brown= life saver

Words can't describe how grateful I am to Raymond Brown from Travelcation!
I missed my flight on the 20th of January and I was in dire need of a new flight to Wellington and preferably in a reasonable budget ( given the circumstances).
I was having trouble booking the flights from my phone, connected to the airport WiFi, as the ticket prices were increasing fast.
Therefore I called Raymond. His relentless help of more than one hour on the phone secured me a flight to Wellington from London in the next day, while managing to stay in budget. If more people would have Raymon's work ethic, the world would be a much better place.
