Scammed tickets by Travelopedia and Amex customer service

I bought three plane tickets on 04/08/2019
and never received a single ticket from travelopedia till today. They deducted £1954 from Amex credit card and when I complained to American Express credit card company they advised me to rebook and promised to refund the above amount and I rebooked the second plane tickets from Ethiopian Airlines apps directly and received my tickets. But American Express denied to refund me either. I ended up paying back American Express over £4000 I thought both companies work together to scam customers because how on earth a bank advise a customer to buy another ticket and refuse to refund. Please do not use TRAVELOPEDIA LTD
If you use American Express credit card watch out.

Truly Awful.

Truly Awful.
They give you a quote then they realise that they can't provide what they offered so the price goes up or you get less for the money.
They are very slow to respond.
Very poor attention to detail.
Very rude at customer service.
Seems to be a bunch of sarcastic rude 20 year olds.
Do yourself a favour and book with absolutely anyone else.

**Same operation running under multiple names**

Another Travelopedia Ltd Scam

Another Travelopedia Ltd Scam
Four pensioners booked a holiday to Santa Ponsa 21/06/2024
They telephoned two days before and informed us the company we booked with had gone into liquidation.
The company on our Atol certificate is Travelopedia Ltd ( Still trading never went into liquidation as informed by Claire)
Offered another hoilday but was not we wanted. We were meeting friends in the above resort.
They offered another resort, more expensive and not all inclusive. The holiday was cancelled by Holiday Globe as it was not the what we had paid for.
No refund and all out of pocket bt approx £430 each plus car parking.
The hoiday is still today advertised with Holiday Globe which is owned by Travelopedia Ltd along with many others.
Same office same address
Whats going on with this lot robbing pensioners and telling blatant lies.

Complete and utter shambles BEWARE

Complete and utter shambles BEWARE! MONEY GRABBERS & LIARS!!
HOLIDAYGLOBE - Advertising holidays though the Cheekytrip platform.
HolidayGlobe is a leading Travel Brand under the trading name of Travelopedia (why I am adding my complaint here) - Hopefully this will be a warning to others to go to a reputable company so as not to get their hard earned money taken under false pretences. (See previous review for full details)

UPDATE: 27th November 2023
I have now contacted Travelopedia and Holidayglobe numerous times now but they appear to ignore my complaint completly, probably in the hope that I will just accept the unacceptable steep hill to the hotel - even though we are disabled and it is completely unsuitable.
The Manager, Allen Alexander has done literally nothing regarding the complaint, his admin staff however, appear to sign emails in his name - pretending to be him???
The staff lie in order to extort more money out of customers. eg: After being told by Rocky Guzman at Holidayglobe that I would have to pay much more for the advertised 'All Inclusive' holiday that I had booked, I contacted the Santos Monaco Hotel direct (proof available) and was informed that THIS WAS A COMPLETE LIE - the Sandos Monaco Hotel only do an All Inclusive option, they not do a 'light' option of All Inclusive and knew nothing about it!!!

21st November 2023 : I am still waiting for the Manager Allen Alexander to contact me - 5 days after he said that he would deal with my complaint? Not bothered to respond and was very reluctant to give me his email address for me to contact him directly? No Complaint Procedure in place?

Not happy at all, scam artists

Not happy at all, I was given a price of £1630 when I booked, I made an initial payment of £500 then 30 mins later I got a call saying there's also charges of £39 per person each way and a small fee . Which in total brought the holiday to £1950 , I told them this isn't what was agreed and they told me if I cancel I would lose the entire amount I had already paid, I wouldn't mind but the only reason I booked it in the first place was because our budget was £1650 , I actually found holidays with good reviews and nice hotels for 1900 and though it was out of my budget so booked with these instead, only to find out they shafted me . I'm now stuck with a run down hotel (kleopatra ada hotel) reviews are horrific . And £400 out of pocket because they scammed me. Then when I made final payment they added an extra £3.20 I asked why and they said bank fees . ? Never had this with the other payments I made. I kmow its only 3.20 but its the principle of it . Disgusted with this company . Didn't even get luggage included in the price. Absolute scam artist. Also just to point out , they originally sold me a different hotel and when I told them they changed it to what was supposed to be the correct hotel , then they booked the wrong one again . So they once again changed it to what should have been kleopatra ada beach hotel to kleopatra ada hotel. (Yes they sound the same) but are two very different hotels, the one we are supposed to be staying at is kleopatra ada beach. Which looks OK, but nope we're staying at the crap one round the back which looks like a block of flats with a bath tub for a pool and reviews that couldn't possible be any worse . Whoohoooo shafted
This company should be shut down. And I will be taking my experience further

We are so happy to of booked our well earned holiday with this agent.
Every step had been taken to keep in our budget and dates.
We wouldn’t hesitate to book our next holiday with the same wonderful people.
We even got a curtesy call to make sure our boarding passes, luggage bookings etc had been done.
Thank you Mark 🥇🏆🏅
