Treatwell is a very convenient app, especially for checking the availability of specialists. Really great! However, a huge number of service providers complain that they have to give up a very large share of their profits to the app, so most of them stop using it—which is a real shame.

I’ve generally had a good experience with the platform. The booking process is smooth and intuitive, payments are quick and secure, and whenever I’ve needed a refund, the reimbursement process itself has been efficient.

However, there are two major issues that seriously impact the customer experience.

First, when a salon is unable to honor an appointment but fails to cancel it on their side, the burden falls entirely on the customer. Instead of the platform handling the situation automatically, I have to contact customer support, provide screenshots, explain what happened, and go through a lengthy process just to recover my money. If the service provider is at fault, customers shouldn’t have to deal with all that administrative hassle.

Second, the loyalty points system needs significant improvement. Points expire without any warning or notification. There is also no visible expiration date anywhere in the account, making it impossible to know when points are about to be lost. At the very least, there should be a clear countdown showing when points expire, along with a prominent warning (for example, a red notification on the profile page and reminder emails or push notifications) before they are removed.

The platform has many strengths, but fixing these two issues would make the overall experience much fairer and far more customer-friendly.

Do not trust this company they are SCAMMERS!
They take money then make it REALLY difficult to get it back .

Tara is friendly and professional and took great care to do my lashes (tint and perm) and eyebrows (wax and tint). I was very pleased with the result.

Absolutely non-existing customer care. Simple issue that needs to be sorted out - gift card bought for someone with the wrong email address. The only way to contact this company is via the chatbot - AND THE CHATBOT DOESN'T WORK EVER. Not on weekend, not on weekdays on normal office hours. And if you call they just tell you to go back to the chatbot and then hang up. There is no way to contact a real human being.

Made an appointment Hasan Barber shop Warmoestraat 155 time 13:00. He let me waiting until 13:25. I left because this is unacceptable.
