I have placed 3 orders with Tropco over the last 5 months and found the service and fish to be nothing more than excellent. I was even rung on the first order that one of the fish i had ordered they were not happy to sell me which i was very impressed by as other online sellers do not have the same conscience. I have dealt mostly with Beth who is friendly and very professional. I have no hesitation in recommending Tropco as a great company to buy good quality live fish from.

This shop is without a doubt one of the best in the uk. I recently ordered 6 blue neon goby with dx next day delivery. Not only was the fish extremely well packaged (probably the best I have ever seen) but I received an extra goby as well. Very good service I cannot recommend highly enough,if you order from these guys you won't be disappointed.

Have used Tropco previously several times.
I cannot criticise the company, all has been well with the items ordered. However, once again the awful courier company (DX), that the use, have failed to deliver. This will be the 3rd time on the bounce. I said last time that I wouldn’t shop with them again, but I decided to give another go. I’m sorry Tropco, I won’t be using you again. Look at finding new delivery partners. Useless!! 😡😡😡

Further update. DX couriers messaged tonight to say “we attempted to deliver & left you a card”. Must be an invisible card, put through door by an invisible courier, driving an invisible van! I couldn’t see any of them & they managed to avoid my ring security camera & ring doorbell! Absolute rubbish!

I've been ordering here now probably for 2 years, 4 or maybe 5 orders in total, figured I was finally in a position to be able to give a review. Back when I was first ordering, I was a little sceptical because I'd only been in the hobby a year or so and had only bought stock in local places so the idea of ordering fish to come in the mail was a little worrying, but during covid and having no other option to fill out my tanks I took the plunge. Really glad I did, they came packed really well, plenty of heat packs, double and even triple bagged where appropriate and I haven't received a single doa fish. I've mostly bought community fish and cleanup crew and they've always been really healthy and settled really nicely. When I asked for a pair of rams, I got a beautiful breeding pair, I've gotten amanos, tetras, cories, a gorgeous super red bristlenose, killis, dwarf cichlids and god knows what else. Whenever there was an issue, pre shipping, they called and we sorted stuff, whenever I had an issues pre shipping I called and we sorted stuff. All in, I couldn't ask for more, I'll be using tropco. Also, dunno if nitrico goop is a product from this group but it saved me from a cycle crash in a fairly large aquarium and is probably the only packaged bacteria I'll buy, but either way tropco sell it and it's brilliant.

Had an issue with the wrong fish being sent out. Emailed Beth at Tropco and the issue was sorted no problem. Would still recommend this company.

I cannot speak highly enough of Tropco. The lad that assisted us was absolutely spot on with knowledge and understanding of our needs and vision for our tank. Shame I didn't catch his name, but all 3 lads that were working on Saturday 24th feb were top draw on knowledge and customer care. Fully stocked my tank from you guys and they're thriving.

The price was much better then anything I have seen, as well as the quality of fish.

I've had a total of 4 or 5 separate deliveries over the last 2 years I've had one order that was ok the rest some fish dead or deformed I had a refund on one order for a broken shell on a apple snail which was good this last order all 5 of my cardinal tetra were dead water cloudy smelly and cold these were the main fish I wanted and typically we're dead gutted and my ryukin has one fin deformed waiting for a outcome currently

I was a bit worried as it was my first time ordering fish online. I needn’t have worried fish arrived still warm and well packed within the specified time. I also put in a request as the species I ordered can be quite variable and they got it bang on. Happy and will order from them again in future. 👌

First time order from Trop co, was a bit unsure at first with the idea of having them posted to me. As this was also a first.

But all fish arrived safe, and well packaged. Heat packs still doing there job with all of them still warm keeping my discus and other fish as they should be.

Will definitely ordering from here again once I need more stock.

I have been ordering from Tropco.co.uk for quite sometime now and must say I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!
The customer service is excellent, the best there is. The team are are always happy to help with any enquiries you may have.
I have bought fish from quite a few companies and always had some sort of problem especially with fish arriving D.O.A!
I decided to try Trop Co i was a bit appreciative as i have had bad experiences in the past but since ordering from them i have never honestly looked back the fish have always arrived safe and the quality of this company's fish is outstanding!
You also have an opportunity to state your preference of fish in the comments box at check out.
I couldn't help but notice others complaining about the delivery charge, £19.99 is a brilliant price for delivery and you get a 7 day guarantee, something I haven't seen any other company do as they usually only give you one day to report any issues!
Absolutely love this company and I will definitely be back again and again they are amazing, happy healthy fish = one very happy customer!

2 dead on arrival. The other 8 had white spots and all have died but two. Annoyed given the cost.

Ordered a pair of yellow tiger endlers and received half moon tiger guppies instead. Found this strange as they don't even sell those. Looked back at the listings and found they're selling the half moon guppies as El Tiger Endlers, a completely different fish.

Only the male was refunded.
Vallisneria was also sent dry and in poor shape.

Had high hopes for this place but won't be ordering again.

The site and other people’s feedback looked fine. However after waiting in all day for my package to be delivered I received a message from the driver to say that he couldn’t find my address and asked me to rebook my delivery for another day. I picked today as it’s the only day this week that somebody is at home so what’s the point of picking a day at some date in the future as the things will be no good to me by then. Every other courier company I use have no problem finding my address so I don't know why the DX driver ca’t find it/

Ordered 7 fish & they all arrived healthy. They were packaged well with instructions for there immediate care. I would definitely order from them again.

Brilliant service when it's a error on these end but when its something that they can fight its the customers fault even tho there under a guarantee
