Cannot get a refund for an iron that doesn't work
I immediately asked for a refund. I now have a trail of emails. Trovoro repeating the same message.' We can off you a 5% refund and a new iron". I keep saying 'I would like a refund please'. There have been 8 emails from them repeating the same message!!!!
This is no way to treat a customer and meanwhile I don't have an iron that works!

I have ordered photo camera , to return the item back to them is almost impossible! I had to ask courier company to investigate is that my parcel was delivered or not , once I get delivery confirmation that my parcel was successfully returned ,Trovoro still keeps that they haven’t received anything yet!

- don’t believe in their return policy or promises, even in writing!
- don’t believe in refunds, amount etc!
- don’t believe in what they suggest you !

I cancelled my order within 2 hrs of placing it. I sent 3 emails but they ignored them all. They then sent an email the following day to say its on its way and would take 10-15 days to arrive. If you insist on returning your product for a refund, please note the following:
1. Cancellations not due to quality issues will incur a 30 GBP initial shipping fee + a 15% restocking fee, and we do not provide return labels.
2. Our return address is different from the address on the package and we only accept returns to the address we provide. If you send the package to a different address, we will not be able to accept it, and all losses will be borne by the buyer. Please do not return the product without permission.
3. You will need to ship the product back to Hong Kong, and you will be responsible for the return shipping, customs clearance fees, and import country taxes.
4. We recommend that you indicate a lower customs value to avoid incurring high taxes and fees. Customs clearance fees and taxes will be borne by you and will be deducted from the refund.

Do not trust Trovoro; they will not accept a return request, for any reason, even when it's within their own returns policy. They will offer a small discount instead (possibly via an automated chatbot, usually 10-20%, never more than 25%), repeatedly, no matter what you say, even when you're entitled to a full refund. I've lodged a complaint and am claiming back via my credit card. Steer clear.

Wildlife camera and app don't work. Tech support team ask me to send videos + photos, which I have done - now going round in circles. Will not engage when I ask them (3 times) to provide return details for a refund.

Why are this company permitted to trade in the UK? I sent 5 emails requesting cancellation then return of unwanted item. The German return address given in their T&C's does not exist. Stupidity I ordered through them and tried to cancel my order once o read reviews ( should have researched first) the order was not shipped when I tried to cancel but was notified it was now ! I’ve sent 4 emails today’s asking for the return address so I can return it on its arrival. They have not provided this and keep avoiding the question! They did say I could refuse it and they will charge me £30 which is ridiculous . I’m curious to know if anyone has managed to return and what the cost was????

I’ve had the same issue as the people above my smart ring wasn’t accurate despite me repairing snd rebooting.I then contacted the customer services and was asked if I wanted a replacement and I said I wanted a full refund and every time I responded and went back and forth with them I received the same automated response!
Absolutely shocking customer service there is not a phone number listed and the email response is either a bot or someone who is clearly very useless as I have repeatedly asked for a refund and only given the same response!
They do not accept returns!!
Agree with many of the reviewers here. They do not comply with the Distance Selling Regulations and do not accept returns in the 14 days cooling off period.
Their AI glasses did not perform as expected and they kept asking for evidence (which was provided) and then offered a 20% refund because the photochromatic lenses don't actually work. However, the key point is that a reason does not need to be given and returns should be accepted and refunds should be given within the 14 days.
If they do come through and accept the return and refund me the full amount I will change this review but it does not seem likely after 3 email exchanges!
Avoid at all costs!
Purchased a smart ring. Unfortunately, it does not fit and there is not much smart about it as it will not link up with any fitness functions like apple fitness etc. I asked to send it back and was told that there would be no point as it would cost more than the ring was worth to post to Hong Kong. Strange, as the address on the package was in the UK and their email says UK support. They now just reply every time to the last 10 emails with a re sizing chart and offering another useless ring. Completely useless and wouldn’t buy another thing from this company; Beware!

I recently bought a router for £99. It was difficult to try to set up, the platform often timed out, sometimes the language changed to Chinese. I contacted their customer service on day one that I'd like to return the product and get full refund. First they offered technical support, I told them I'd like to return the product. They told me I must pay for the postage myself, i said that's fine. From that point every day they've replied with rubbish answer not giving return address just offering a percentage they are willing to refund. After 25% every day I got the same "offer". Because they ignore my request for the item to be returned and get a full refund, eventually I agreed to the 25% today. Let's see if they will pay 25% back.
I found this ignorant behaviour UNETHICAL and BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. This company is happy to sell but takes no responsibility when it comes to return. Their return policy is NOT EXISTENT.
I had a terrible experience with them and will not ever buy anything from them nor recommend anyone to do so.
Now I ended up with something I can't use because basically they bullied me to either take the 25% offer or leave it, they stamp their feet and keep ignoring my request for return and full refund. Unacceptable.
Unacceptable Customer Service Experience
I recently purchased translator earbuds from this company and unfortunately needed to return it as it doesn't translate instantly as claimed.
Despite clearly stating my legal right to a full refund under French consumer law, the customer service team has repeatedly ignored my requests and instead offered partial compensation, increasing incrementally from 5% to 20%.
This approach is not only unacceptable but also unlawful. The company seems to be unwilling to comply with the legal obligations regarding the right of withdrawal for online purchases. I have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue amicably, but the customer service team continues to disregard my rights as a consumer.
I strongly advise potential customers to think twice before purchasing from this company. If something goes wrong, you may find yourself facing a similar uphill battle to get the service and respect you deserve.
4K camera fault
I purchased the 4K camera. On the top left of the camera is the mode wheel which when turned moves through the various modes e.g. vidoe, photo, lapse etc. When a new mode is selected there should be a display symbol on the rear screen to confirm the chosen mode. This sometimes appears, sometimes not, when it has previously appeared and you return to it, it doesn't, when it didn't previously appear it sometimes does when you return to it. In short, a completely random fault. I have sent proof of the fault including videos to the company and have had protracted email correpondence with them but they have fobbed me off with excuses on every occasion. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE COMPANY NOR THEIR PRODUCT despite the price - 'you get what you pay for' as the saying goes.

I had a terrible experience with this company. I purchased a camera from them, and when I received it, I immediately realized that the quality was far below my expectations. I decided to return it, strictly following their return policy, which clearly states that returns are accepted within a certain timeframe and under specific conditions.
However, despite complying with all their requirements, they outright refused to accept the return. Their customer service was unhelpful and dismissive, making it clear they had no intention of honoring their own policy. It’s incredibly frustrating and unprofessional to see a company that blatantly disregards its own stated policies just to save a few dollars.
Avoid this company at all costs if you value honesty and customer service. They do not stand behind their products or their policies. Buyer beware!
