I had a terrible experience with Truelancer.com. The platform feels poorly maintained, with outdated systems and minimal updates to improve the user experience. Worse, in providing real value or support. Their support team is unresponsive, and there’s a lack of proper oversight or fraud prevention measures.

Compared to Upwork, Truelancer falls incredibly short. Upwork provides excellent client support, a professional interface, and better safeguards for both freelancers and clients. If you're serious about freelancing, skip Truelancer and stick with Upwork for a reliable and professional experience.

Client reviews are directly accessible to freelancers, so if you write a positive review, you will receive a positive review; if you write a negative review, you will receive a negative rating as well. Is that a fair system? Truelancer.com is not a trustworthy platform.

They do not have a proper review system and do not listen to clients. They have no rule for suspending an account if a freelancer requests a review, like upwork and freelancer have. Freelancers beg continuously for good reviews even for lots of bad work but they are not taking action.

I’ve been a small freelancer on Truelancer for a while, and recently, I’ve become increasingly disheartened by how big freelancers manipulate their profiles. Just a few days ago, I saw a negative review on a well-known freelancer, Mrinal Bhuyan, which seemed legitimate and wasn't that old. To my surprise, it disappeared soon after, making his profile look spotless again.

It's really disheartening to see how Truelancer seems to remove or hide negative reviews to protect the reputation of these top freelancers. As a smaller freelancer trying to grow, this feels like a massive blow. How are clients supposed to make informed decisions if only positive reviews are allowed to stay? It makes the platform seem biased and unfair, pushing smaller freelancers like me further down the ranks while promoting those who can manipulate their ratings.

If Truelancer wants to remain a trusted platform, they need to stop filtering out genuine feedback and start valuing transparency. Otherwise, they risk losing the trust of both freelancers and clients.

Truelancer has been an excellent platform for me as a digital marketer. I’ve found plenty of SEO, Google Ads, SMMS, and Email Marketing projects that align with my expertise. The user-friendly interface, secure payment system, and wide variety of job opportunities have made it easy to grow my freelancing business. Highly recommended for anyone in digital marketing!

Truelancer has been a great platform to work on. Their customer experience and manner to handle freelancers and clients is commendable. The platform is simple and easy to use and mostly self-serving, but if you need any help, the Truelancer managers are always there to support you along the way.

Total waste of time, I completed few projects and client has paid for the projects. But when withdrawing i were unable to get any cent of my money.They didn't transfer any.Total fraud. I tried more and more time contacting their support team and they weren't responded to any. Totally disappointed. We can't get what we earned.

This is the worst freelance app I've ever seen, if you sand anything they turn a blind eye and reject it and the customer support is so bad, 99% of them are scammers.
