Excellent communication, easy process and can avoid expensive mistakes. For example, just hired an EF 600mmF4, to save money rather than the RF version, but not sure about the AF on an R6m2, so will now hire the RF version and probably buy that. It's how I bought my camera and other lenses (plus you get a discount after trialling!).

Great experience from start to finish. The team made the whole process smooth and straightforward & I really appreciated the opportunity to test drive the Canon body before committing. Excellent service all round, highly recommended!

Lens arrived as scheduled, very well packed and in good condition. Pick up at the end of the loan was also easy and efficient. Report back from Try the Kit after they had received the returned lens was clear.

Only thing to note was it took a week to get the deposit refunded, but only a minor point, given this is a free service.

Delighted with this process. Kit arrived early and was promptly picked up once the trial was completed. Very useful opportunity to try out some new kit.

The whole process was simple, even a sort of hint that if you borrow this camera then you will need an adapter to use your own lens.
Courier was very good both on delivery and collection. Impressed by the telephone call that offered a longer loan period at no cost.

Try the kit were fantastic. I rented a canon body and lens over the Easter bank holiday weekend, they had an offer which meant I could try the kit for four days instead of 48 hours for free. I was then called up the Friday before my rental was meant to start and told my kit was ready to be shipped and could arrive on Monday. I was amazed. They didn't charge me anything extra, just out of kindness, and it meant I got a whole week to try the camera out. Thank you so so much, I highly recommend Try the Kit!

I have used Try the Kit several times now and would recommend anyone who wants to try a camera or lens before a purchase to try there service. You have to leave a deposit via credit card which is understandable but as long as the item is returned in the same condition you receive it you immediately get confirmation of the deposit return. I have always had good communication and have been able to speak to someone in person when needed. The camera or lens gets delivered in a hard case before your test days and collected the day after, it could not be more simple and convenient. I definitely recommend the service.

I wanted to purchase the Lumix S1 II, and I loaned the camera and lens kit via Lumix loan/Try the kit. They were very prompt, sent the package early to make sure I get it on time, and they called to confirm.

The packaging was stellar, very well packaged to keep the expensive camera gear safe. They already included return packaging and zip ties, so I didn't have to worry about that. The refund of the deposit also came within a reasonable time!

I spent only a day with the kit and instantly decided to purchase mine.
I know they've got some business model, but I can't believe I got to try the kit practically for free. They made it very easy for me to decide if I wanted to purchase the camera or not.

This experience is leaps ahead of going to a store to check out a camera and/or lens; this loan approach allows for a proper test.

Nothing less than 5 stars because if a company is doing well, we should let them know so they can keep it up!!

This is a very good service. Easy to use and great kit to try!

Tried the 48 hour test drive and have no complaints! The items was delivered within a 4 hour window, on time, and on the day of pick up i was given a 4 hour window again, and both went without a hitch. (RM/Parcelforce)

The items came well packaged and all in great working order. No fuss with packaging it back up for return as all packaging is included and easy to figure out.

I had a slight issue with the order but i had no issues getting in touch via phone call with someone to resolve it.

In an ideal world,it would be nice to have the refund of the deposit come back quicker (5 days), but not really in the control of TryTheKit.

The logistics worked well and everything went smoothly - it's a very well thought-out experience.
