SCAM SCAM SCAM!

SCAM SCAM SCAM!
Avoid at all costs!!!

I ordered MaryRuth’s Hair Growth Max Liposomal.

I received Googeer Hair Supplements.

The ingredients are completely different!

The product advertised on your website (MaryRuth’s Hair Growth Max Liposomal) lists active ingredients including Biotin, Vitamin B6, Vitamin E, Pantothenic Acid, Pumpkin Seed Oil, Saw Palmetto, Amla, Lustriva and other botanical ingredients specifically promoted for hair growth.

The product I received (Googeer Hair Supplements) lists only Purified Water, Peppermint Extract, Ethanol, Sorbitol and Erythritol. These are entirely different formulations. Not to mention it tastes like pure poison.

The advertised health claims also cannot reasonably be supported by the ingredient list on the product supplied.

When I raised this concern I got generic AI responses that didn’t acknowledge the actual concern and just said the packaging was different but my order was correctly fulfilled.

They refuse a full refund

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Scammers

I ordered Mary Ruth’s hair growth from trythrives but in my bank information it said Jeremy jewel.com ???
They send me 3 mini 30 ml bottles I ordered 3.they use to be 450 ml if it would be right.
And inside it was water and peppermint.and when I wanted to send them back (before I opened it) I would pay for delivery. They said I couldn’t. And when I wanted my money Back they only paid me half. So if someone else can check your bank information and see if you pay to trythrives or another company. Write it here. I’m going to call and check how they pay taxes. I mean thrives is a company we will se if they pay taxes. DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.the advertising are they stealing and using for their fake bottles.what they selling have nothing to do with hair growth. You could have bought something else just check your account.

Be AWARE!!!! FAKE PRODUCTS

Be AWARE!!!!! The product is a complete scam—- it’s not the Mary Ruth’s supplement shown in the pictures it’s a 1oz bottle of ‘Made in china’ drops that have 0 nutrients or lustrivia (hair growth proprietary blend in Mary Ruth’s) , and ingredients listed are water, peppermint extract, ethanol, sorbitol and erythritol. Highly disappointed and company now claims only 50% refund and “does not have shipping label” to return product for full refund! Unbelievable

Ordered the Mary Ruth hair supplement…

Ordered the Mary Ruth hair supplement and delivery never arrived. They told me it was because the address was incorrect. I said the only thing about the address by the look of it was “D” missing from the state and shouldn’t affect the delivery. They tried to tell me had been returned to sender and couldn’t be responsible for that! Absolutely disgraceful

I ordered two bottles of Mary Ruth's…

I ordered two bottles of Mary Ruth's hair growth max in 15.22 ml size as was pictured. They sent two tiny bottles of "googer" brand hair supplements and charged me twice for shipping(14.95 for each bottle in one envelope). I contacted my bank immediately and they noticed another charge for $39.97 today from the same company. I cancelled my card. Trythrives returned my email with a 40% off products and 50% off shipping offer. Told them it was unacceptable and that I'd be filing a dispute with my bank. Horrible fraudulent company.

I ordered Mary Ruth's Hair Supplement…

I ordered Mary Ruth's Hair Supplement from this company. Their website looks legitimate and they advertised a great discount of a whole bottle for $9.99. I ordered a bottle and selected $4.99 for the shipping method. When I reviewed the purchase a few days later, I noticed that I was charged $14.73 for the shipping. I contacted the company and received this as a reply.

"Hello Kimberly,

Len here from trythrives.com Customer Service.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your concerns with us. I completely understand how frustrating it must be to see a shipping charge higher than expected and to not yet have your order in hand—especially when you selected the $4.99 standard option. I truly appreciate your patience as we sort this out.

I also want to be transparent and let you know that because we process orders quickly to get them to our customers as soon as possible, it can be challenging to make modifications once an order has been processed and is currently in transit. At this time, due to the operational and fulfillment costs already incurred, we are unfortunately unable to cancel or provide a full refund.

That said, upon checking, here’s what happened: after checkout, our system performs a final carrier check to ensure your order is shipped safely and efficiently. Occasionally, if the shipping tier selected doesn’t meet the carrier’s requirements, the system automatically upgrades the shipment. This ensures you receive:
Full tracking — complete end-to-end visibility on your package
Priority handling — faster processing with carriers
Loss & damage coverage — added protection for your order

I completely understand how this may have caused the price discrepancy and confusion. To make this right, as a one-time courtesy, I’d be happy to offer a 50% ($7.37) refund of your shipping fee. You’ll see this reflected back in your account within 5–7 business days.

Once you confirm, I’ll process this refund immediately. Your trust and support mean a lot to us, and I want to ensure your experience ends on a positive note. Thank you again for your understanding and for giving us the opportunity to make this right.

Warmly,
Len"

I wrote them back stating that this is unethical business practice. I also received a notification from my credit card company this week that the purchase on my account looks to be a fraudulent company. The charge did not show up on my account from TryThrives. It showed up as a charge from TowerGentCom. I had never heard of this company and did not correlate the charge to my TryThrives purchase. I have had to cancel my credit card and get a new one. Do NOT order anything from this company. I still never received the item I ordered and it's been almost 3 weeks. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bereau.

Same experience as the other reviewers

Same experience as the other reviewers, got a 1 oz bottle of Googeer - this is supposed to be ingestible but the bottle seems to be filled with a liquid that smells like soap/bubbles and SHOULD NOT BE CONSUMED . I wish there was a better way to report this fraud. I let Mary Ruth's know as well, hopefully they will take legal action to shut this site down. They are also billing through a legitimate athleisure company in SC called Sugarsew so that poor business is probably also experiencing horrible credit card flags from TryThrives. This isn't just a scam, this is criminal

I would give zero stars if possible

I would give zero stars if possible. I ordered two bottles of Mary Ruth’s 15oz each. I received two, one ounce bottles of some brand Gooyeer. Plus they added an additional $10 to the shipping after check out. I’ve contacted them twice before receiving the item about shipping and now after receiving a completely different product. They do not contact you back.

If I can give no stars I would

If I can give no stars I would! This company is a scam! They tried to charge my card several times with different websites! I ordered Mary Ruth hair supplements and I received something totally different! They sent me 1 ounce of something I’m not sure what to do with it! The shipping was around 15 dollars for a 10 dollar bottle of something they clearly doesn’t have! This company is a scam! I wish I could put a picture up! The stuff they sent me was called googer!!

TRYTHRIVES is a RIPOFF

This company advertises on Facebook for a hair growth product. They offer the product for 4.95 plus shipping. Upon completion of the order they offer an additional product for an extra 9.95… what they fail to mention is the additional 14.73 shipping. I was charged 2 times that day… one for 19.68 and another for 24.73. I proceeded to cancel the 2nd order IMMEDIATELY but was refused. Not only would they not cancel the order they also told me even if I refuse the shipment my money WOULD NOT be refunded. VERY DECEPTIVE business practices. NEVER AGAIN!
