Jason has been a wonderful tutor and such a great help throughout this whole process. He’s been incredibly flexible and patient, and my daughter’s grades have improved in all her classes since working with him. Eventhough she might not notice it herself, I can tell she’s more motivated and confident. Thank you, Jason, for making such a positive difference. This experience has been completely worth it!

Oyin was extremely organised, accommodating and clearly an expert at what she was teaching.
Although I have yet to receive my LNAT score, I have no doubt our tutor sessions helped me with re-structuring my essays and better understanding/ analysing MCQs.
Oyin quickly adapted the lesson matter to what I needed and gave incredibly useful guidance that I definitely would not have performed as well without. She also marked any practice essays I sent over super quickly, allowing for efficient and constructive conversation during the season time.

Overall every session was fun, intellectually stimulating and invaluable.

I have now been having regular sessions with jessica for over month(we have now done 6 sessions together), and I feel that I can now form a proper opinion regarding Jessica and the tutoring in general. I initially sought out to get tutoring due to the fact that I was debating between Math AA HL and Math AA SL, yet I ended up dropping down to SL due to several reasons (not because of poor performance but rather timetable issues etc) Since then I have been able to really focalize on my studies and Jessica has taught me important values. I have always prided myself in being conceptually good and fast in math, always trying to rush through the problems, yet Jessica noticed this and informed me that it would greatly benefit me so as to not make small arithmetic errors etc. This has always been a problem as I understand how to do the problem but I distribute wrong or take the wrong root or whatever it may be. These sessions with Jessica have taught me not only discipline in actually doing my homework and studying content we learned in class (I used to never to homework or study at all for that matter), but most importantly I feel that she has improved my overall structure and allowed me to put my thinking pace into organized steps. I sincerely wish to continue working with Jessica to ensure that I achieve all the big goals I have for myself in terms of academics, and I believe that with her help I can succeed in my studies.

I have been a loyal student to Ms Drogaris for 2 years now. I'm currently a senior in high school. Ms Drogaris has been my educator for IB Business Management HL. Her professional and open approach to education has turned me from a straight C student to achieving IB scores of 6 and 7. This year, she is my tutor for IB Business Management HL. She has played a profound role in my understanding of the class and achieving a predicted score of 6. She is the type of teacher who understands students and takes the time to know them on a professional and personal level, and then she configurates her teaching approaches to accommodate the student's needs. My reading dyslexia poses a big obstacle for me in understanding illustrated writing. Despite my difficulties, Ms Drogaris takes the time to help me understand: she repeats and simplifies concepts for me so I understand. She has made me a much stronger student. Her role in my academic and personal life can not be better suited for some other individual. I am eternally grateful for her presence in my life and hope you will have many opportunities to benefit from her expertise and insights.

Elvan served as my tutor for 2025 IB Biology, aimed to review prior topics I had done in my first year of IB. As we went through the tutoring sessions, I found Elvan to be very motivated to explain the different topics of biology. Prior to the lessons, I would receive review packets to help me review the topic os we could look through my work the upcoming session. Moreover, if she was aware I was slightly confused on the topic she we were looking through, she was able to give me a quick 15 to 30 minute review before we continue the packet. She helped me clarify a myriad of concerns I had in different aspects of the biology topics, and was able to successfully simplify the topics to make them easily understandable and logical. I found her to be a great tutor and highly motivated to encourage other students to have better understanding of biology, and become more interested.

Great experience overall. I did the IB Chemistry HL With Daniel for four months and went from a 4 to a 6. He was kind and responsive and helped in the long run. Highly recommend!

Very professional tutoring service. Really good teacher who finds a unique and creative approach to explain the hardest topics in the most fun and interesting way.

Ms. Gülşen is a really great tutor because she is really good at maximizing the content learned in the 60 minutes while making sure I feel comfortable with the lesson pace and providing lots of easy examples to remember the concepts learned. I really like how understanding and flexible she is with helping me meet my needs. Furthermore, outside of the lessons, she is very attentive, making sure I have lots of material and notes to practice the concepts. As well as messaging me before lessons start to double check if I will be present. I appreciate the way she is able to teach confusing topics in a very simplified way and accommodates to her student's level of understanding. Lastly, she has helped me prepare and study, especially for the IB curriculum, and feel confident for my tests.

The lessons were so good! Hana explained every topic very well and it really helped my during my lessons! Hana is really kind and the lessons are really enjoyable and go by really fast!

I was initially scheduled a trial lesson about three weeks ago with a TMUA tutor. I showed up to the classroom, waited the whole hour- and she never showed up! I messaged her on WhatsApp to tell her I was waiting in the classroom, and emailed the client manager, to alert him of the incident. She only messaged me later that evening (the lesson was scheduled in the morning) to apologize, claiming she was ill. After rescheduling the lesson, and deciding to go ahead with her as a tutor after, I spent the entire week going back and forth with Tutor Chase trying to figure out how to book lessons, and pay. No one was helpful. I called numerous times on different days and no one answered. I contacted them on WhatsApp and was told someone would reach out to help me further. Nobody did. After I finally managed to pay for 9 session hours, intended to be spread over 6 lessons, I was told my chosen tutor, would reach out to me with booking details. I was told that paying for the package would 'secure said tutor as my tutor', but the opposite happened. After initially not receiving any booking link to book the sessions I had paid for, I contacted the tutor twice on separate occasions to ask her for booking details. I waited 3 days, and she didn't reply, despite seeing her online on Whatsapp numerous times, including when I first sent the message. I contacted the client manager, expressing my dissatisfaction with the fact I paid the money on the basis I would have this individual as a tutor, yet she had not even responded. I was told she was removed from the service, yet she is still on their website?. In addition to this, I was offered a new tutor, last week as compensation. The same incident has happened- I have not been contacted by anyone to book at least a trial lesson let alone the sessions I have paid for. I have constantly had to reach out to the client manager to get things sorted, and even then, nothing has been sorted. I have requested a full refund 2 days ago, and haven't even had an acknowledgement on getting a refund, my first email asking for a refund was completely ignored and instead I was told he would 'reach out to the new tutor again'. Thinking I might get a response, I called again, but still no response. It's been three weeks and counting since this whole ordeal began, my exam is in 3 weeks, and all I have received is an appalling standard of service. I am fed up of the constant back and forth, the poor communication between both tutors, and admin, and am still awaiting an immediate refund. I am astounded by my treatment by TutorChase and would advise everyone to avoid this company at all costs. You pay £585 (as you can't even have adhoc lessons and have to pay for a package!), and after that, no one even tries to communicate properly with you. Take your money elsewhere, and don't waste your time with TutorChase!

Filled in the form had a response on WhatsApp, gave further details and was told they would get back to me shortly with a tutor. Never heard back from them.
