I would put zero stars if i could. I have had 2 companies now come and have alook at my cameras. Both said same. The company AERIEL FORCE are ripping people off. I paid for the expensive cameras and they have put me the shitty cheap cameras in. So be very aware of this company. I had them put in feb 2024. Not worked for months. This company charge a £300 pound callout fee then money to fix cameras. So by time you finished with them. you are paying at least 500 quid. Iv been to see a solicitor to see about suing them. I still have paper work and the 2 security companies that told me same thing. Can't be fixed cause there cheap cameras. Waste of money they are. SO BE VERY AWARE OF THE COMPANY

Engineer Damaged My Alarm System

Engineer Damaged My Alarm System - Then the Company Denied Responsibility I'm writing this review as a serious warning to anyone considering using Aerial Force (Also trading as Homevision Ltd and tv aerial company ) I booked a simple doorbell installation survey, for which I was charged £25. During the visit, the engineer mistakenly cut and removed the internal ringer of my home alarm system--a completely separate, high-value security component. This was done without authorisation, and the engineer was not qualified to work on alarm systems. The company has since denied all responsibility, even though: * I personally witnessed the engineer remove the component. * He later returned to the property, attempted to reconnect the wiring, and even visited the third-party alarm company in person. * The engineer also offered a 20% discount on doorbell fitting as compensation, which I rejected. Despite this clear admission of fault, Aerial Force's customer service team has been dismissive and evasive. They: * Refused to properly investigate unless I waived my right to pursue a claim. * Attempted to reframe the issue as if I was asking them to carry out a chargeable repair. * Hid behind a buried 14-day clause--despite the fact that the damage was not immediately obvious and occurred outside the scope of the agreed service. Their behaviour has been appalling: legally evasive, ethically questionable, and completely lacking in accountability. I am now escalating the matter to Trading Standards and the Consumer Ombudsman, and I strongly advise others to avoid this company at all costs. If anything goes wrong, they will deny it, shift blame, and leave you with the bill--no matter how clear the evidence is. I recently discovered they were subject to investigation by BBC watchdog rogue traders. Figures. Not safe. Not professional. Not trustworthy.

It all turned out well in the end!

I'm a bit confused - TV Aerial Company fitted my aerial in 20017, yet the receipt I had today, for a replacement masthead amplifier, was headed Home Vision. Same phone number though.
The first appointment - the operative checked all the internal gubbins with his kit, all was functioning ok but the picture was still pixellated, which apparently indicated the masthead amp was the problem. Unfortunately he wasn't able to lift ladders or climb them, so was unable to complete the job.
Then, I was let down the next day as the first man omitted to tell HQ I couldn't make the next morning, when someone rang to say they'd be coming. I was promised later in the afternoon, but the operative was held up by the job before mine, so couldn't make it.
HQ agreed I would be the first job of the day a few days later, but I was called to say the operative had been called back to a job on the previous day, so would be here about mid-day.
And then, all was well. Paul Bowman phoned to say he'd be arriving within half an hour, he got here earlier, checked again that the gubbins inside the house was working, then got onto the roof and found the masthead amplifier had 'blown'. He quickly fitted a new one, made sure the tv was working properly, and we sorted the paperwork and payment. Paul was polite, friendly and efficient, and even helpfully advised from roof level of some rotten timberwork. He also showed me how to make Channel 5 catch-up work! Thanks Paul!
These guys have to do so much driving - it seems as the company expects them to fit in too many jobs each day.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I already had CCTV installed but I needed a new recorder and wanted to upgrade cameras to night vision.
Was told I needed to pay £25 survey fee, but then on checking my bank account noticed they took £30 when I queried this, I was told that they add on £5 for vat!!! (like previous reviewers have mentioned).
Surveyor/engineer John came to survey. I've seen him on a previous occasion when one of the camera's had stopped working. He diagnosed the problem, solved it and the price was reasonable.
This time however, he talked the talk and came up with the most ridiculous quote I've had in my life!!!
He said it would cost me £2,940!!!
I told him I'd have to think about it (not).
He said that in the next half hour, someone called Rob would give me a ring to check everything was ok.
Rob duly rang.
I asked him why his quote was ridiculously high as for one, all the wiring was already in situ and and that, after a quick Google, one company was charging less than £2000 for supply and installation from scratch. And two, I could buy the recorder and six cameras for less than £300.
He bluff and blustered asking if the engineer had discussed wiring with me. He had not so Rob said he'd give him a ring and get back to me.
He rang back and came up with another quote for £2,200 if I had the work done that afternoon!!!
I said I wouldn't be in.
Disgusting set off people ripping people off like this especially the elderly!!!
Hopefully, the company will go bust in the not too distant future and save a lot of people grief!!!

5 mins response to book in a sale, 14+ days if you have a query afterwards

Needed a TV aerial installed. Put details in online. Someone called me within about 30 seconds of hitting submit. Someone can round today. Ok great. over £300 to install an aerial I already had. Needed a booster too, ok fine.
3 weeks later, Aerial stops working. Contacted support online just asking if there is a warranty. Customer service wouldn't answer the question, wanted all my details, tried telling me they were a different company then the company has ceased trading and was no longer trading. Told to submit question directly to them. Told query will be responded too within 14 days, longer over holiday period. Funny how they were so quick to book in an install and take my money, but not interested afterwards. Ended up paying someone else to come and resolve as was week before Christmas. Adapter was broken and needed replacing. Don't touch with a barge pole.

Avoid

Initial installation in 2020, installing engineer did not advise we needed to keep a password, We wished to add 2 cameras in 2023, but due to not having password we were required to purchase complete new DVR. Now had issue with a camera not working, they give you a date, but the window is 0800 to 1800. Called at 3pm to establish if a time could be advised with only 3 hrs of working day left erm... nope. Rearranged for today, 23rd December, engineer phoned to tell me wouldnt be until after Christmas... i just cancelled ot and decided to look elsewhere pointless even trying to contact them again about it. Dreadful service, sarcastic, pompous operators in "customer service". One star given as zero does not appear to be an option.

Cancelled appointments for more than 1week

I am very disappointed with my last experience. More than 1 week , I book appointments for different days. All the time my appointments are cancelled. I paid in full the amount of 2280 and guarantee for 3 years. For this money, I expect to have good quality of service. Unfortunately, the reality is different. I tried to change my engineer because he cancell all my appointments for one or different reason and the company explain to me that is impossible. The reason of it, is because every engineer is working on different area. I send a complaints over email and I am still waiting for an answer. I have to miss from work because ,I know that I have appointment. The company is really serious when they have to install the cameras and take the money from you but when you have any issues, they are not taking any thing seriously and they cancel your appointments day after day. I feel like I am paying for nothing. Today is 21st of December and the installation was made on 07.11.24. I am still waiting for activation. I asked if I will need Tv screen on the installation day and the company said no. Now , they have to sort out this issue because I have TV screen and my appointments are cancelled at list 5 times.

Groundhog day

Called them early Thursday afternoon. Explained what I needed. They said they would try to send someone out that day. No show. Phone call to reassure me that someone will be with me the next day. No show. The same thing happened the following Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Engineer turned up on Thursday. Says he could not do the job because he did not have the necessary drill bit. Pathetic.

Rip off and shoddy workmanship

Neighbour charged £487 to swap an lnb and join a piece of nackered cable outside. I am ex trade and the work is shocking and I had to put right. The repair was botched, cables left dangling and a tripping hazard, dish rusted away, cables full of water. Stay well away from this horrendous company.

Quick & Effiecient Service

Two TV's wall mounted - one 85" one 55". After enquiring, the team was quick to organise an engineer to come and provide a quote on the same day I enquired. He could have fitted the same day if we were ready (we weren't) but we arrange a time later in the week. Jerome was the engineer and everything was fitted quickly and efficently, with the wires hidden behind the walls. No hassles and the TV's look great up.

What a shower

What a shower

Engineer booked to attend Friday 8/11/24 before 1pm due to other commitments. At 12:45 no sign or call from engineer so I phoned the company and asked where he is to be told he’s running and that he would arrive during afternoon. I said not possible due to not being at home I also dissatisfaction that neither the engineer or company bothered to call me to advise he was running late.
Arranged a second visit for Saturday 16/11/24 and again before 1pm, you guessed it, this time l received a phone call from their office to advise that he would be at least another so again a failure with this company.
Such a unreliable company, am going to contact another company who hopefully will actually turn up as agreed

Beware high price of parts.

The engineer did his job and my mast aerial splitter system now works. However, I find that I was charged well over four times the price of a part available from the UK supplier. The company refused to consider my complaint that the price of the part was too high.

John excellent service

John, the engineer was very straightforward and open regarding the cost and went the extra mile by giving additional welcome advice. His work was ultra professional, completing a very well done job in fitting my new tv to the wall.

The engineer kept arguing

The engineer kept arguing, weird in itself, said he could get an aerial signal but TV was on 😂 I just wanted a new aerial as the signal drops out, my husband who knows and used to install them also explained what we wanted but the engineer argued with him, farcical, didn't know what he was doing, I honestly do not think these engineers are fully qualified, he also argued that my area should receive BBC Anglia but it clearly shows BBC London and that my aerial was wrongly positioned 😂 AVOID them I've never known such unprofessional engineers in all my life 😂
