Good for streaming live ITV to Chromecast

Been using TVPlayer to watch ITV with a Chromecast as ITV Hub doesn't let Chromecast stream live TV. Other than a few times when there were short errors, it has worked well.

Won’t load channels

I got this so I could watch the national geographic wild channel, and that’s the only channel that won’t load! I can’t understand why it isn’t loading! All the others do! Tbh I’m not going to be paying monthly if I can’t watch the one channel I got it for! Never had this problem with any other apps I have downloaded onto my firestick!

paid but programmes still locked

payment was up for annual renewal ,we renewed ,payment was taken but its still locked and TVP don't answer on their Twitter feed

Utterly useless TV player

Utterly useless TV player, change the player it does not work, then all these bad reviews will go.
ITV / Channel 4 / Channel 5 etc all fail to load. Why these companies are allowing this is odd.
Will never sub.

Poor selection of TV channels, those that are free are limited in number. TV app is clunky, slow and general has poor reviews. Avoid.

I've payed for this service since oct…

I've payed for this service since oct 2017!
I haven't used it once!
I noticed this situation Sept 2020 & unsubscribed only to see now that I'm still paying for it!
Is this some sort of con!
Contact me straight away!

We need to get to the bottom of this.

To be fair I think I should be reimbursement for the amount of time I've been subscribed to the rubbish service!

Not happy

I can only watch something on demand for 5-10 minutes then tells me that it is only available for premium customers. I have paid for premium. Will be cancelling my account.

Subscription Cancelled

Well this will be my final comment on TVPlayer and I have left a few.
We have put up with lousy bandwidth, horrendous buffering, the sudden departure from Roku.
However the final straw is the departure from the Discovery network and all its channels has made £6.99 a month no longer tenable.
The new channel offerings are poor.
Bye bye TVPlayer .

The worst app ever

The worst app ever, total con as you cannot get any other TV player on the firestick. l don't write reviews but l for this l will to warn people and someone at amazon needs to get rid of the app and let another company put a properly working player, utter waste of time!

Channels missing!

What the heck has happened to quest red and really? Really annoying as I haven't been able to watch them on tvplayer for the last 3 days. They were the only decent channels worth watching!
Edit. Well your bot advice only served to tell me that quest red and really aren't available anymore. Guess I won't be watching tvplayer anymore either then.

Answer your customers dont just send support links

Where have all the channels gone only had tvplayer for tlc and really ... where are they please do not give a support link. You need to answer what's happening your paying customers. Use to recommend thia app. Not any more

Won’t even let me subscribe

Won’t even let me subscribe. I’ve tried on fire stick, Apple IPad, internet explorer and google chrome and it comes up with the same error on every device. Judging by the reviews I’ve read seems a lot of people are having problems.

TV Player are enough to drive you…

TV Player are enough to drive you mad.My network is fine but it barely ever works! I have to login constantly which 3 times in the space of a couple hours is madness and like someone said ,unable to watch many channels.I intend to scrap TV player

Utterly Shocking

It simply doesnt work. Some of the channels they advertise aren't even listed. Nothing loads, nothing plays, hours of wasted time contacting tech support who give really unhelpful and non relevant advice. To be blunt, its fraudulent. Having now read reviews you'll realise they have no answers and they will never refund you. Utterly Shocking!!

Update: tech support have been unable to assist. When I asked for a refund they refused and directed me to their terms and conditions: "TVPlayer and our website is provided to you "as is" and we don't make any assurances that either of them will be provided uninterrupted, secure or error free – as such we don't provide any technical support in respect of TVPlayer"

IT'S A SCAM

In response to the response given below, I've contacted TVPlayer.com again and received a pointless response. "We cannot guarantee our service is compatible with every device. We've made every attempt to get our service working but our terms and conditions are clear, the service is provided as is. We do not provide refunds."

The devices I've tried are a Samsung Galaxy Tab A and a Note 20 Ultra as well as via the app on my TV. They DO NOT provide refunds and after two emails tech support are refusing to assist further. Checks reveal their registered address is an unmanned mailbox service in London share with over 80 other companies. I'll say it again, IT'S A SCAM.

They've once again responded pointing out their terms and conditions, that the service is provided as is and that they do not provide refunds. I'll say it for the third time; IT'S A SCAM

Watch on fire tv app. Just keeps stopping and then says "FAILED TO LOAD VIDEO" So annoying. You assured me in January that your fire tv platform would be working properly and it still isn't. NOT GOOD AT ALL

FAILED TO LOAD VIDEO... Is all you will get for your subscription. How can PLUTO manage to have a perfect working app that always works, yet TVP always fails. It worked on Roku and was good but they can't get it together on Amazon for some reason.
