I was nervous about ordering a suit on…
I was nervous about ordering a suit on line, I like to try my clothes on as I have very little imagination. However I just could not find a traditional but modern style suit anywhere I looked on the high street. I need not have worried. I placed my order and the suit arrived quickly and well packaged. It fits very well and seems to be of very good quality (its still new relatively new and not "hard worse" so cannot fully judge this yet. My only issue is that the suit has to come through the post so is more creased than a shop bought product. This was soon rectified however by some pressing. I would recommend this Company for a reasonably priced well made suit.

More Than Worth The Price
The customer service, from the get go, was great. Staff seem friendly and are quick to respond. I am a tailor and figured I'd give them a shot, for that price, what do I really have to lose? Sizing suggestions from the staff based on my measures were spot on! The fit and finish of the final product was worth many times more than what you pay. And this was the baseline service. They offer upgraded options and fitting as well.

Quality suit and excellent service
Quality suit at a bargain price. It's rare these days to get a great deal on a quality product and receive attentive customer service as well but these guys really do just that. Really happy with the process and result!

Love these suits!
I now own three Tweedmaker suits. Customer service and delivery times have always been excellent. I love the fit. If I had one slight criticism it would be that I need more styles since I already own three of them!

Love It! Will Come Back for More!
Not only is the suit I ordered absolutely wonderful; I thoroughly enjoyed working with Tonya and Martin, who made sure my suit was tailored to exact specification and delivered timely.
If you've never owned a custom tailored suit before, I have two suggestions: (1) order one from Tweedmaker with the Gentlemen's upgrade; and (2) though the directions to measure yourself are thorough and very helpful, if you have a tailor nearby take the time and small expense to have your measurements professionally taken. Tweedmaker will make you a suit that fits like none other, but it's essential you get your measurements right.

Wedding Suit
I wanted a really nice suit for my wedding but also wanted to look a bit different and stand out.
I couldn't have been happier with the suit when it arrived and the fit was perfect, as was the quality, i had many comments on how good it looked.
I have already purchased another suit and again the fit and quality was amazing! I couldn't recommend Tweedmaker enough, if you want a really good quality tweed suit at a very reasonable price there is no where else to go!
Now i just need an excuse to purchase a third suit.......

Great communication especially over the rush holiday season.
The experience I had working with tweedmaker was great. It takes a bit of time, but that's ok because of how good the price of the suits are. I bought a blue one the was a bit too small and the tweedmaker team had a new one made for me right away. Now they have my sizes the next one will be as great as this one. Looking forward to dealing with them again when I order my next one very soon.

Suit didn’t fit, and won’t process refund.
Bought suit in November, they recommended sizes according to my (accurate!) measurements but when it turned up it was too small. Returned at my cost, refund promised on 3 January. Refund has still not materialised three weeks later despite several emails. I am now having to go to the credit card company. I cannot recommend this company at all.

Don’t waste your money
Don’t waste your money, I paid extra for a bespoke suit hence this made the suit non-returnable, I followed the the measurement guide to the letter, what came was utter rubbish, cheap and nasty buttons with a fit of massive proportions, any savings in price had simply evaporated. To top this off Ted Baker had a sale there suits were around the same price the fit and quality of these suits is like night and day, take my advice - don’t waste your money on Tweedmaker products.

Love it! Worth every penny!
I ordered my tweedsuit and decided to opt for the custom tailored suit as I am an unusal shape after years of lifting weights. It came today and I must admit I was a little nervous when trying it on. I am pleased to say it fits so well!!!!
When I sent my measurements in to Tweedmaker Tonya questioned a few of them and I am glad she did as they were slightly out (due my poor measuring technique). Clearly she really knows proportions on people and knows her job well.
I am really happy with the suit and I am looking forward to feeling comfortable on my wedding day. Worth every penny!

Great value quality suit
I ordered a Blue Herringbone Tweed suit from Tweedmaker as I thought the pricing and business model promised good quality and value, and previous reviews supported that feeling. Immediately after my order, a fairly detailed email conversation ensued with Tonya to ensure I was happy with sizing, and my suit duly arrived within the promised 4 weeks. However, the trousers were too tight, however another email conversation with Tonya and the trousers were replaced with the next waist size up. I have recently worn the suit to both a works Christmas do and a 50th birthday party, and in both cases the suit was much admired, and the word "dapper" was much in evidence. I suspect to get a similar quality suit on the high street would cost at least twice the price and anything of significantly better quality would be pushing towards the £1000 mark. So a great value suit, much admired and which I feel great in. It will also last for many years to come. Best £199 I've spent in a while!

Feels like a gamble; isn’t.
I took something of a gamble and ordered a tweedmaker three piece suit for my evening wedding suit. I’m in the military and wore my uniform for the bulk of the day and wanted something smart but less formal for the evening fun.
Before I purchased the suit I did exactly what you’re doing and read a series of reviews. In many of them people wrote how others commented on how good the suit looked. I read those reviews and laughed because I’ve genuinely never been commented on a piece of clothing on my body in my life.
And I am being 100% honest when I tell you that from the moment I re-entered the wedding to the last dance people genuinely commented on how good the suit looked. Filled with confidence (and aware that at my own wedding people were going to be nice so hey...) I wore it to a friends wedding a month later - totally different people - the same flurry of compliments and people asking where I had it made.
It is a very good piece of kit. Very good. I paid extra to have it bespoke and it’s worth every penny. The ordering process and the measurement system feels weird but it’s just like having a tailor on the end of the phone rather than in front of you & if you can use a tape measure you’ll be fine.
A bargain and a beautiful suit to last a lifetime. Thank you so very much. Highly recommended.

You get what you pay for.
Trousers and waistcoat fit great, but they either ignored two key measurements on the jacket or simply screwed up: the shoulders are .75" too wide and the jacket length is a solid 1-1.25" short. I could get the shoulders fixed at no small expense (which would make any price savings utterly evaporate), but the jacket length is unfixable. Also overall the jacket fits quite snugly, though perhaps not excessively so.
Otherwise the suit appears to have been made well. No complaints surrounding construction. Bespoke it most definitely is not, but for the price you can do a lot worse.
Excellent purchase, with many compliments received.

I think when you are ordering from non-uk based companies, where your dealings with them are at arms length via email, there is a degree of reservation. This nervousness was cranked up given I paid a £50 premium to have my suit made bespoke, thus making it non-refundable.
I saw a bespoke suit for £300 either an amazing bargain, or a very expensive mistake. I took a punt and thankfully it paid off.
I received in a really reasonable time my suit. It fit very well. (i did have to have the waist and leg length taken in a tad) but my waist coat and jacket fit like a glove.
The Retro Grey Wool suit i bought, looks excellent. I particularly liked it as it was subtle enough to wear for weddings and work (as opposed to some of the more outlandish tweeds that aren't really suitable for client facing work) and completely difference from anything you can buy off the peg that i've looked and searched for.
The amount of compliments and positive comments i have received have made me feel like this was an astute purchase and i would certainly recommend taking the plunge.

Excellent suits
Well made , bespoke, 3-piece tweed suits for a fraction of high street prices . Quality and design are very good . Delivery was quicker than quoted at under 3 weeks . Sizing was easy and the site provides helpful guidance over the phone.

Pleasantly Surprised
I bought the Duke of Beaufort for my husband. The quality of the suit is very good! I had my doubts and I was pleasantly surprised. You never know when you're buying online. Delivery took about 3 weeks, and there was a £17 customs charge but I knew that in advance from their website. I would have had the wrong size trousers ordered but they caught the discrepancy and contacted me to ensure everything was spot on sizing wise. My husband loves the suit and has had so many comments on it. He will definitely be back for more!
