My experience with the platform is good so far. I am new here, I have joined this platform a few days ago and I got notification about latest job posting.

They don't put the price
And am having problems finding a recent job

This platform definitely does not have freelancers in mind.
The profile is absurdly difficult to edit (good luck changing something if you made a mistake), forced paywall, riddled with AI jobs.
Employers, if you want good, dedicated freelancers, look elsewhere. Pro-tier is a rip-off.

I came across a Twine listing through Indeed. It was for a writing position on an indie game; a passion project with anti commercialism at its heart. Then this AI-riddled paywall came down on me. I’ve researched more on Reddit etc, and it seems like not a complete scam, but definite red flags. I can’t find any evidence, unfortunately, that it is actually trusted. The flow is designed so that once the true nature of the work posting becomes clear, the applicant has already invested time and effort filling in the application details and uploading their data, so they are more likely to pay thanks to sunk cost fallacy. As previous reviews have pointed out, any ethical freelancing community would be upfront from first point of contact. If there are real clients behind these listings, there is no way to find them and apply directly :(

Made me make an account because i thought it was a regular job on linked. bombarded me with emails for freelance jobs that i didn't want. how does this improve your website? bringing in unwilling developers to your scam website

Freelancers avoid this place. Jobs are behind a paywall and the free account only gives you the chance to apply for one job a month, which is pathetic. They claim the paid for account is to 'help freelancers stand out' but sounds just like another financial burden with no guaranteed jobs.
Based on several back and forth emails, this place is not run by freelancers and does not have the best interests of freelancers in mind.

Title: The gold standard for interactive fiction—just needs more organization.
Review: Twine is an incredible tool for beginners and pros alike to build non-linear stories. It’s accessible and powerful. My only wish for future updates is better visual organization, like hierarchical folders or layers, to manage large "spaghetti" maps. Adding smart autocomplete for variables would also make it perfect!
Incredibly disingenuous experience with Twine. I'm a designer currently looking for work, came across a job advert posted to LinkedIn from Twine which redirects you to their website.
You are forced to create a detailed profile first with them, hand over your information, CV, details etc.
And then you find out AFTER that whoops, you need to pay for pro if you want to apply.
I genuinely thought this was an error screen i'd arrived at. There is no way that I just spent all this time 'applying' for a job, only to find that instead it was actually an advertisement to sign-up on this platform and pay for pro. Absolutely no mention at ANY point of the process that 'Hey, just a heads up, you will need to pay to apply'.
Stay well away. Whilst I can appreciate paying for qualified leads as a service, the predatory nature of getting your platform sign-ups through job advertisements posted on popular channels such as LinkedIn and Seek, and then restricting actually applying for the job should honestly be flagged as an absolute scam.

It was so nice and creative with me.
The Twine is better than other platforms so very good Twine and other thing is it is fully trusted no worries about payments and other issues.
So this is my experience with Twine.
Thanks 🙏🏻.

Twine has been a great platform to work with. The process is straightforward, communication is clear, and tasks are well explained. I appreciate how easy it is to get started and the overall user-friendly experience. Definitely a solid platform for freelancers looking for consistent opportunities.

Another company that scrapes job advertisements off various websites and reposts them. Usually these kinds of scam just sell your CV to data brokers but Twine actually has a fee-based model, charging for preferred access to roles that they claim to represent. That’s obviously nonsense and the vast majority of employers have policies to ensure that potential employees are not subjected to fees in the recruitment process because this can lead to people being defrauded. It would be deeply irresponsible. There’s something particularly despicable about ripping off desperate people, and about using fake posts and aggressive tactics to remove criticism on review sites like this one.
