Typeform is good for response collection and has a nice design. But it's just a nightmare for analyzing survey data. They broke all the summaries and reports — different tabs show different number... See more

It's a con. They promote the surveys as free and let you create and send. Then a few days afterwards they email you to say you are almost at the 10 max responses limit and if you want to collect more responses than 10 you need to pay a subscription (which I seem to recall was c.£30). This was simply a survey I had sent to my son's class - I was only expecting c.15 responses but I didn't want to look like a moron and have to backtrack with parents to pull the survey. So I paid (and have just cancelled so hopefully I won't be charged again).
It's highly misleading and in my opinion a total con. They are based overseas so you can't easily get in touch with anyone to complain.

Made a poll on short notice. It accepted 10 responses and then locked out. Was in a mad rush organising an event so paid for an upgrade to get more responses to the next plan level without reading the cost. 500 Euros. Unreal pricing, dodgy business practice. Never using again and advise everyone to stay away.

The worst website ever.
Firstly the frankly racist creation demonstration videos they have on their website. Secondly the fact nothing works, I cant use it on mobile, use another company instead, save yourselves!!!

Without a doubt this is a scam. We cancelled our subscription 10 months ago and are still being charged monthly for it. Do NOT give them any of your card details at all.

Reply from Typeform
Good idea but "trap" subscription. Would not recommend.

So disappointed with using Typeform!
I didn't notice anywhere that the free plan only allows 10 responses. Then sent a questionnaire related to a charitable organisation. Had no choice other than to pay the upgrade fee.
Foolishly I didn't make a note to cancel the subscription so got another bill a month later. The cancelation (which happened on the first day of the next month) also didn't cancel the month ahead.

They unauthorized auto-renewed . No way to contact them directly. DO NOT deal with this company as once they get your card they'll just keep billing and you can't get them to stop.
Update - they responded but there is still no direct email contact and their response was unclear and continues to support their deceptive autorenew process - do not deal with these people.

I tried to reach you regarding a payment issue, but I can't find a working contact form or anything to contact you all over your website!
I had to cancel my account, and I will never recommend your service again.

Changing my 2 star review to a 1 star review.
They literally hide your data behind a payment wall once you have gathered it... If you intend to use the product on a one-off or semi regular basis, once your account is no longer on a plan (as I paused after 1 month until I needed again) they don't let you have access to your data. You can only get YOUR data when you pay them...even if it's already collect, even if it's already on a survey has old and completed 👌
Honestly, listen to these reviews. This company is complete garbage.

I enjoy using the platform. When you do a multi-language questionnaire, the system doesn't warn you that you are changing the already published questionnaire, which has answers. It is so easy to make a mistake, and it is so easy for developers to warn users, "attention, you are about to edit a published questionnaire" it is a basic thing to do. Very disappointed. I lost the entire survey. Yes, the mistake is mine, but the system should inform users about the consequences of their actions.

Enjoyed using the software even though it has its limitations. But the most annoying part is their strategy to not even allow me to download the results that I have paid for. I used the platform for 2 months and didn't download the result immediately. When I went to download my results, they wouldn't even allow me to download them immediately. They put a 14-day hold for me to download the data that I paid them to collect. What a shady strategy. Also, other parts of the platform had a very poor restrictive experience. Overall hated it and will not use them again.

Definitely one of the worst form interfaces on the market. Consistently annoying to use. Whenever I go to fill out a form and see they use this, I usually just don't fill it out, and it lowers my expectations of the company, which they're probably too cheap to get a real form interface.
They even make their legal info unnecessarily harder to see by using the form on their legal pages for some reason. Of course I managed to look through their maze of a legal directory, there's red flags and other stuff in the legal agreement that's would put off a lot of people. On top of that, they have bad business practices, so I don't see what their appeal is. I assume it's since their target demographic are morons.

Hi, your platform was advertised as free, so I created a form and sent it out to me 34,000 email subscriber list. It's a good thing I double-checked it because I realised the form closed after 10 responses, but we already got many customers complaining that the form did not work for them.
I'm okay with paying for a form if you explicitly state that it is limited to 10 responses, but I had to find out after sending a mass email to thousands of people causing a big headache for customer service. I paid for the monthly plan just to get it working again. But I missed out on potentially hundreds of responses. Please post this dislcaimer on your forms and in your advertising.
Right now, I'm pretty angry about this. I probably won't ever use Typeform again if you don't refund me. If not, I'll just ask the bank for a chargeback saying that you falsely advertised your service.
False advertising of FREE platform to then having to buy into the program to get my results is not a good idea. Then, on top of that I paid, utilized the platform and downloaded the results to have them not work, Typeform not respond to my need of help and there's zero evidence of the results from the surveys!!!!!
You can't change the text font or colour for individual slides. These are the most basic fundamental elements of design. Themes apply to every slide on the Typeform making it impossible to change it up per section. Images cannot be moved freely and must be put in static locations and you cannot have more than one image on each stage. Terrible UX.

Typeform renewed our annual contract with no advance notice and increased the price by nearly 50%. If you try to cancel, they do not give you a refund and only say that the new plan is effective a year later. When you try to contact customer service, even if you have a plan that has a live chat, you only "speak" to a bot. If you try to contact them further, the "Leave a message" feature doesn't work.
These practices are unethical and possibly illegal.
They used to be an interesting and reliable company. Now they are dodgy.

The prices are really high for the features that they offer. We really don't mind paying for a good product, but even on their most expensive plan, basic features are not available.
E.g. changing the position of the widget, or having a pop up only open once for each customer - not on every page he opens.
The customer support is very nice and helpful, but I would still not recommend the plattform.
DO NOT USE TYPEFORM! They are crooks. They have just taken £300 from my account with NO PRIOR NOTIFICATION!!! I'm incredibly angry. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

i love this product. it's intuitive, well designed and gives great insights. also integrates with many products.

very little customizability for things as simple as picture/text postion. Also why does the image quality significantly reduce when I slightly crop an image. Terrible experience trying to make a simple quiz, feels like whoever made this just didn't give a flying f*** about the user experience. This has so much potential and yet it feels like it's locked in a primitive state.
