Access any LLM and keep all your chats in one searchable place.

I love Typing Mind because it allows me to keep and organise all my chats in one place. And it also me to use an AI gateway service to buy credits and then connect to almost any model. This way I avoid expensive subscriptions and being locked into any one model.

I'm not an expert but I do love the flexibility and cost effectiveness Typing Mind provides for me as I jump between models.

Nice AI interface with too many features

I came to know this last year during BF, but didn't get into it until recently, and I even went into the Pro version.

It is different from using AI models with their websites (Gemini, CharGPT, etc), it is a central interface with many features. I want to reduce 1 star from the review because of the many things it can do and needs a learning curve to do it, but it is too good to have fewer stars.

I provided my own OpenRouter and ChatGPT keys, and I am getting a good output with it.

Recommended for those who need to use different AI models in 1 place.

Great

Between the agents, features, and configurations, there are tons of possibilities to maximize time and product. TypingMind is top tier.

Access Continuity & Memory Persistence

It works!
Moving from Claude app to API access via TypingMind is like a DREAM. Sonnet still baulks at requests, but that is Anthropic.
The Knowledge Base gives something akin to persistent memory.
agents are a breeze.

Sort of what i expected

Sort of what i expected. There are UI learning issues but so far overcomable (is that a word). The biggest disappointment is not having an LLM merge a multi-LLM conversation based on my input. I have to copy and paste that myself and direct that explicitly. Doable but not really different from what I do today but having this present multiple LLM in parallel is great as well as its connectivity to openrouter.

This has proven to be a fantastic…

This has proven to be a fantastic platform to use the AI models I need. Project folders are organized well, clearly identifying which model I am working in.

Some areas for improvement:

1) The Project Settings Folder: There should be a way to store all relevant project collateral into this folder without the AI models constantly referencing them. It should be used as an easy to access repository, so that I can prompt a Model to review a document or image specifically without having to constantly add and delete items in there. It feels redundant to be able to attach files into the chat prompt and also upload a file into this folder only having to delete it again so that credits are not used by the model reading everything each time.

2) I have found that when adding files into the Project Settings folder that sometimes the models do not see the files in there requiring me to attach the docs or images into the chat prompt. Very inconvenient.

A client that can be used comfortably for different AI models.

It is very convenient to have a client that allows you to use different AI models comfortably. The range of functions is on par with those offered by major market players (Google, OpenAI, Claude, Mistral, etc.). It can sometimes be a little difficult to keep track of the agents and prompts. Easy-to-understand and detailed documentation of all functions with practical examples would be helpful. What is still missing is an app for tablets and smartphones.

Always improving.

I love using a product that is under constant development and feels like it is being actively improved a little each week by people who actually use it.

The only tool that allows me to combine…

The only tool that allows me to combine everything I need from LLMs into one app. Definitely not for casual users, setup was clunky for me and I'm a hardcore tech guy, but the result is worth it.

Claude thru Typingmind vs zencoder

I just find that Claude through typingmind is more useful for the level of work I am doing than is zencoder using my Claude API. There is something to be said for keeping the AI out of your repository making edits willy nilly
