The place where questions go to die
If I ever manage to get a helpful answer from this company it will be a literal first. This latest time all i wanted was an article explaining how to create a workflow for a generative (not agentic) AI, not to have them dive down a rabbit hole. That means either such an article doesn't exist (I sure couldn't find it) or it is impossible to do. Either way, it should not be this complicated to get an answer or a resourece. This is not specific to my account, it is a general question.
I will be genuinely impressed if they manage to provide a straight answer in any less than 5 email exchanges, if at all.
Please make SMS access easier!
I love that I can go back and review the context of a call when I've gotten busy and the ability to save and edit contact details. I don't love that we've been denied campaign access to the SMS feature countless times and we could really use it to improve workflow efficiency. I cannot text our technicians from my personal cell phone but often need to communicate with them via SMS. We only use Dialpad for internal staff calls and always will; It shouldn't be so difficult to gain approval.

The WORST customer service…
One of the worst customer service experiences I've had in software.
Hubspot integration is totally broken, took 6-8 months to fix due to an issue on their end when they upgraded it.
You'll love dialpad if you like waiting a month or two for customer support to get back to you, if they ever do. In addition they hold you hostage and will try to auto renew your contract despite cancellation requests.
Stay far away. Try any other solutions

It's a complete tool for online calls. Great for sales. Supports gifs that really helps in customer outreach. Also AI summaries are helpful. The admin portal gives me full insights on my sales teams' efforts and if someone is lacking or not. Love it!
Dialpad told us we needed to log in…
Dialpad told us we needed to log in from the USA to keep our account active — so we had our US-based employees do exactly that. It got deactivated again anyway.
This has now happened multiple times, and each time we lose our assigned phone number and full chat history, forcing us to contact customers from random different numbers, which looks completely unprofessional on our end.
To make it worse, we've been trying to upgrade to the Pro plan to resolve this, but every attempt to subscribe triggers yet another deactivation. We're following their instructions and still getting nowhere.
For a business communication tool, this level of unreliability is unacceptable. Would not recommend until they fix these fundamental account stability issues.
