$19 dollar pizza turned into $43

$19 dollar pizza turned into $43. There is this deceptive screen telling you the tip is based on the total amount of the order before discounting. I could not see the complete cost before checking out so placed an order on trust thinking am getting all the discounts. I did not get all the discounts. Be cautious.

They couldn't keep me as an Uber one…

They couldn't keep me as an Uber one member for even a week. 2nd order I placed and they screwed it up and refused to issue a refund I ordered 2 three topping pizzas and received 2 cheese pizzas because their app had no options to customize the pizza I input it in the special instructions field which the restaurant would not honor. Immediately cancelled my membership. I hope the 30$ was worth the 10$ a month member fee plus what you'd make Everytime I order. Brilliant business model.

I have been delivering for Uber eats…

I have been delivering for Uber eats for 9 months now with over 1,000 deliveries. At first it was pretty good, decent pay without burning too much fuel. The last 6 months has been ridiculous though, uber pays us drivers most of the time only $2.00. It does not matter the size or distance of the deliveries. That affects the customer getting a timely delivery because drivers like me will deny orders that are not profitable. Customer service is almost nonexistent for drivers, ì cannot understand them because uber outsourcing c.s. to foreigners and literally all that uber cares about is their profits, period. Uber eats is running a good concept for deliveries literally into the ground with this business model. On top of all this uber eats allows customers to tip bait us drivers with absolutely no repercussions to abusive customers. I would have left a negative review is it was an option.

Absolutely terrible app and even worse…

Absolutely terrible app and even worse customer service... They don´t care about their customers at all... Dont expect any type of help if you have issues with your order...! I got a pizza without the toppings i asked for, I even sent a picture to Ubereats, and got a message back saying it wasn´t enough to warrant a refund or any type of compensation... Absolutely horrendous!

Disaster customer service when you need it fast

I ordered the same items from the same restaurant using UberEATS for maybe the 5th or 6th time. One of the items had the buy 1 get 1 free offer as always.
I ordered as usual, and they sent only one.
The disaster started, after 6 hours, I received the first response from the customer service.
The response was a ridiculous excuse; they told me that there was no problem on their side, and I should have clicked twice.
I did the same for the test, and I got 4 items in my basket.
Their App is awful, and they don't take the responsibility for their problems.
It was the end of my story with ordering on this APP.

I just got to say... it is just not worth…

I just got to say it is just not worth it. I ordered breakfast from Burger King. At the store my meal would have been $10. I ordered it through Uber Eats and I paid $30 for that meal. Just understand that no matter how you look at it you will be paying more than double the price when you go through Uber Eats and doordash. And if this is convenient for you then it may be enabling lazy Behavior and that will cost a lot of money. Aside from the fact that they just continue to push the arrival time back with no regard or responsibility.

Ubereats delivered me the wrong groceries and won’t rectify it for 6-12hrs.

Ubereats delivered me the wrong groceries order. I then tried to contact them in app about the failed order and their agent just left the chat and transferred it to another team where I will have to wait 6-12hrs. Now I have the wrong order, I’ll have to wait 6-12hrs for it to be rectified and in the meantime I’ll have to reorder my groceries. I even tried calling their phone line and it’s just an automated phone line that hangs up on me and tells me to deal with it in app. However in app just makes me wait. I am officially cancelling my uber one subscription, this company does not care about its customers and has the worst customer support out of any delivery app.

Customer service was by far the worst…

Customer service was by far the worst I’ve ever experienced. I waited over two hours for my food to be delivered, and when I asked for a refund, I was told that I would only be eligible if the delivery reached the three-hour mark. Meanwhile, they kept changing drivers, and by the time my order finally arrived, the food was cold.

To make matters worse, the customer service representative kept interrupting me while I was trying to explain the situation instead of listening and addressing my concerns. The entire experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Terrible customer service- offshore…

Terrible customer service- offshore with zero empathy, understanding, or respect for their customers. Filed a BBB complaint with them, with photographs that proved they didn’t provide service and they still blew me off, tried charging me $70 for a meal we didn’t receive and then had the audacity to say too bad. Just know this service is order at your own risk. I have a 5 star rating on rides and still got zero respect for an order I didn’t get. Joke of a service, joke of a company.

Food arrives cold or the drivers mess…

Food arrives cold or the drivers mess with the food eat it theyll sit with it until you cancel and the company will not refund unless extreme circumstances which is very unfair. Save yourself the stress and hassle its so much easier to just pick up your own food then deal with nasty strangers tampering with your meals, delivery delays,
Or cold stale inedible food.

Broken system

Not only is it getting more and more expensive to order with all the fees that they create, but I've had more and more negative experiences with drivers that make me want to stop using uber eats as a whole. I've had drivers steal my food, take a long time to deliver because they are multi-apping (even when I pay for Priority), etc. But seeing all these negative reviews makes me think that all they want is their money and nothing else

Delivery driver tampered with drinks!!🤮🤬

I ordered from maccies. The delivery driver was straight up rude during the text. I wait for him outside just for him to still straight finding my door. Still struggle to find my door even after I gave a specific instructions and guidance and picked up the phone. After waiting outside for him for several minutes I then went back in and waited for an update. After minutes went by I checked outside to find my order. Not to mention the delivery time on the McDonald’s app vs the Uber Eats showed that he had delivered it 10-15 minutes ago after he marked the order as complete and only then was I let known of. So my delivery was cold and sat out there in the open where anyone could’ve stolen it. Then when I took it inside the tamper seal put on by McDonald’s was tampered with and ripped off. Immediately I tried to contact the delivery driver again which he ignore and I tried to contact Uber eats customer support which they never got back and instantly closed my chat before I could reply. And when I closely examined the drinks there were large dirty fingerprints resembling of a male size. Disgusting!! 🤮I had to throw them down the drain days later because I kept it as evidence thinking Uber Eats would get back to me eventually. Will never order from Uber Eats again 😡. This not the first time aswell but for some reason when you order through the McDonald’s app you don’t get to choose with delivery service you want it’s automatically Uber Eats. Their delivery drivers and their reputation are known to be shite. Because of all this I had lost money and had to reorder again through another delivery service totalling to £13.69p. It’s diabolical to me I couldn’t even request a refund with Uber Eats customer service because the drinks total were not cheap.

I wasn’t able to eat till 12pm after I had tried to get help with the useless chat bot that ended the chat whilst I was trying to upload the taken evidence picture. From then I wasn’t able to restart the chat and when I tried it told me it would connect me to someone but it never did after many attempts.

Beware of fraudulent charges on your…

Beware of fraudulent charges on your Uber eats account!!!!! I was trying to close my account and the app told me I had outstanding charges so I couldn't close my account. I logged into the website, it said: "There are outstanding balance(s) from your past trips. ( I haven't taken any) Below that it said: ""You have not taken any rides yet, take your first ride" and below that there's an area to schedule a ride. What a scam!

Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs. I didn't receive a breakfast order yesterday, it transpires the driver was at the wrong address. Uber's policy is basically if the driver calls you, then he has done what he can, even though you still get no delivery. I lost £20 as Uber said the driver did all he could, except from not delivering the food. These lot are a bunch of CROOKS!!!

I wish I could give 0 stars. My order never arrived and was left at some gate. I showed proof and was told, you won’t get a refund at all. Uber Eats can go to hell. I wish Insta Cart didn’t use them.
