Blatti Renate was really good with me
Blatti Renate was really good with me. She helped me open my account, explained everything, and was really nice, something that foreigners dont feel often from swiss workers
I was forcedly tranferred to UBS when…
I was forcedly tranferred to UBS when they bought Credit Suisse. While CS was not exactly a modern bank, UBS is much worse.
Now, for 2 days in a row, UBS is blocking my SEPA euros transfers, maybe they don't like me sending out my funds. The banking mafia is using your money and they don't want you to remove your own funds from their custody. Past two days I spent my mornings (1+ hour each time) on the phone with their support minions who have no idea what's happening. They told me the transfers were blocked to protect me from frauds and scams, by their algorhytms, but at this point they are the fraudsters and scammers. I wonder if those algorhytms were written by their indians or their genius AI tools.
They lure you in and then they have complete control over your funds. We're at the point that you can't differentiate between actual fraudsters and the bank.
The mobile app is slower than anything I ever saw, bloated and hard to find basic functions.
They charge for everything which is free with many other banks. Instant tranfsers is the norm in the whole Europe, but no, not at UBS, they charge 5 HCF for each transfer. Exorbitant exchange fees, fee for each card, fee for ebanking, everything is charged. You even need to pay for a non-instant simple Euros IBAN transfer. They are a ripoff with 100 year old mentality and infrastructure. The trash of Switzerland.

Awful awful awful bank
Awful awful awful bank - honestly UBS have taken customer service to a new low. Despite having the worst service for 2 years since being with the bank there has been no interest in helping/ guiding and discussing the best banking way forwards for us as a customer. After a month of emails with no clarity I simply got told 'all details are on the website' and I couldn't speak to anyone in a branch - in fact if I didn't leave they would security. UBS trade on name and arrogance and I would avoid at all costs.
Great service
Great service. A really professional, kind and helpful employee Mia Manojlovic.

Great Service and advisory.
The Team in UBS frauenfeld is doing its job really great, while they are supportive, flexible and very friendly. I am really happy to be customer of this branch.
Support/Help very difficult to contact
Support/Help very difficult to contact. UBS is doing its best to keep its customers at armslength. So-called Support phone numbers simply connect to endless menus and "All our agents are busy..." and keep the customer running round in circles.
The worst bank ever
The worst bank ever! Unreliable, cannot be trusted with my payment instructions, they simply don't execute them but also don't bother contacting you about it to verify things, they blocked my cards when I was abroad due to security even though I approved that country before my trip. Even after 6 months nobody contacted me, despite my in app messages about being left without access to MY OWN MONEY. Totally disconnected from reality, from online banking, operating as in 18th century but without good customer service 😂. So far, absolutely no reason to go to this bank if you don't want to pull your hair out every time you actually need a bank to act in a reliable and competent manner.

I didn't even start good to work with ÜBS and I see the efficiency and the speed that use this company. I like it very much! Go on like that! Wish you only good and constructive things. 💪💪💪

Horrendously bad customer service
Horrendously bad customer service. Have a private banking account recently converted from Credit Suisse. Nearly impossible to get a human on the phone and when you do, they are nearly always unable to process the most simple requests. I can't (or maybe I can) understand why the Swiss banking regulators don't break up this awful, customer hostile organisation.

Credit Suisse Account Transfer to UBS
Just had the automatic transfer done from my Credit Suisse account to UBS. Wow. I had saved standing orders, direct debits etc, prepared to re-input them but UBS had everything set up once the transfer was done. Even e-billing accepted companies had been transferred, so when I receive new invoices to pay, e-billing with UBS is already set up. Multiple Savings accounts were not even bundled into one Savings account, UBS transferred all accounts exactly how they were at Credit Suisse. Bloody good job done by UBS from two years of prep work.
My only small request now is to have dark mode built in on the UBS banking App to save on mobile phone battery power.
Closing the account was terrible
It was okay until I wanted to close my account. Then it got stuck in a limbo - I was unable to withdraw and they took about a year (yes, really) to return my money. In the meantime they kept charging me extra (even though the account was non-functional). Then they agreed to return the charges, but failed to do so (well, I foolishly asked them to send it to Revolut which bounced for some reason, and then they agreed to sent it to another account, but never did). At this point this is not worth my time.
Also, the "secure mailbox" within the app is pretty bad, which adds frustration.
At least they were polite, I guess. I would definitely go with a different bank now.
