Again scammed by this company bought a hoverboard for my son November 2020 by May 2021 it stopped working have tried contacting this company for well over a month and nothing, Immoral and wrong. Do not even think about ordering anything from them!!!

I purchased a hover board from this company on Black Friday 2020 for my daughters Christmas present. It promised next day delivery. When I chased delivery I was concerned this was a total scam. Their registered address was a fruit and veg business. The hover board itself was recalled in France a few years ago so looked like they had bought stock cheap to sell on in the Uk market.
Thankfully I had paid with my credit card who immediately refunded me and took up the case directly with these people.
Randomly a month or so later I received the hover board! By now I was worried about the integrity of it and issues with the company if there was an issue. So I tried to contact them to return it (having bought another one this time from Argos!) emailed, phones, wrote, nothing. Yesterday received back the letters from Royal Mail as undeliverable.
So as per all other reviews...DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Ordered for Christmas for my grandson. It doesn't work and despite repeated emails, no response. Tried calling but it just says 'there is no one here to take your call' and then hangs up.
There was no invoice with the box and the instructions were obviously fake. There is no information for warranty and the product is obviously fake too.
I am so upset as this was a lot of money to spend and my grandson is so disappointed.

They sent us a dangerously faulty product and will not respond to communications for returning it. This resulted in my daughter not having a Christmas present and placing her at serious risk of injury. The immorality of this company beggars belief. Avoid.

Stealing scumbags

Ordered 2 hoverboards in nov still nothing received don’t answer calls, emails, or messages it is shocking people can still get away with stealing money from people do not use this company !

I had to put on star to start typing. Would not give them this I could type without it we have a hoverboard for my sons main xmas gift that we can not use because when we charge it he plays for 3 mins then ou flashes red that battery is dead. Emailed them a week ago nothing from them at all. So sad that ppl out their are scum bags that make money out of ppl for defective stuff.

Like others - received a package for Christmas that wasn't the product I ordered. No response to emails or phone calls. Sadly also seem to have been scammed by this company - not convinced the one i have is safe to use so very disappointed daughter to say the least. Avoid!!!! Doubt I'll get any money back but will pursue through trading standards anyway.

Complete Scam there main business is a Fruit & Veg supplier which filed for liquidation in November.
The board they supplied me didn’t charge and when I looked up the model number it was recalled stock from 2017 due to risk of electric shock and fire.
This ruined my kids Christmas and could have caused serious injury. No reply to my emails either so I’ve contacted my credit card company and I’m also looking into legal action against the owners.

Do not be fooled by the fake purchased 5-star reviews that predate this companies trading history. I too like everyone else who ordered a hoverboard in November received and second-hand faulty unit in a damaged box missing several items. Our hoverboard turns on but switches off again as soon as pressure is applied to the foot pads. I have rung and emailed this company but am yet to receive any response from them. I have now raised a complaint with my bank in the hope that I can obtain some form of refund. This company copycatted a very similar UK retailer and even publicised a UK phone number and .co.uk email address on the website. However, they in fact operate behind a London PO box address. Very unscrupulous and unethical at this time of year especially considering the current climate. Avoid at all costs. I would strongly recommend everyone to thoroughly check out any online hoverboard retailer before purchasing.

I ordered off this website in November i recieved my hoverboard just before Christmas one thing for sure i will never order off this website again absolute SCAMMERS. Hoverboard came broken, UNBALANCED, no charger, no instructions, no invoice, NOTHING. Ive tried emailing them ive got no reply. Tried calling there number and its went straight to voicemail. NOT A GENUINE WEBSITE. Its a scam. £159.99 i paid for this to receive a SECOND HAND hoverboard as it seems. I advise anyone that goes to use this site to not use it!!!! All i want is a refund and they seem not to bother emailing or anwer there phones!! AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!! Doesnt even deserve 1 STAR.

I knew something was wrong when I placed an order and then wanted to cancel it (in November 2020) but no email reply and the phone number goes to a voicemail. Thought I would give it to my son anyway as couldn't do anything else with it. Worked for 2 mins then that was it. So upset that they can do this to people.

We purchased a hoverboard for my sons Christmas present. Arrived later than the date given and wasn’t delivered by DPD as they stated. Item is different to what is on the box, this company is clearly using cheaper / dangerous boards and putting them in boxes from more expensive boards. We charged the board and it lasted 10 mins then threw my son off!! We have called and left messages but no response. We have emailed and awaiting for them to answer. We have had to purchase another board costing £170. How people can do this and take peoples hard earned cash, especially in the current climate.

Do not use this company. It is a scam. I have a hoverboard which is not what I ordered and by all accounts dangerous. No sign of samsung parts!! I have repeatedly tried to contact the company to return it but there is no response by telephone or email. I was going to return Given the reviews below I won't simply return to the London address. Any advice on how to return or get my money back would be gratefully received. Thank you.

Avoid- this is a total scam. I bought two hoverboard santa presents. The money came out of my account the next day. I got worried when I didn't receive a confirmation email. Tried emailing them through their website, phoned the contact number repeatedly but got no response. Going through my junk mail I saw they had emailed me saying my order didn't complete and for me to put in my details again to purchase- this was after they had already taken the money from my account. Disgusting behaviour.

I googled the bar code on one I received and it’s old recalled french stock that has high alert for electric shock and fire on the batteries!! I’m in process of getting money back through the banks

After I paid online , the experience didn’t feel right and I contacted the company to cancel the order. Then alarm bells began to really ring as emails weren’t responded to and the telephone number was ‘unavailable’. A little digging online and the company (a food and drink one) that it trades under was given notice of strike off early November. After 4 days of wondering whether I’d ever get a board or see my money again, a dirty box was delivered (not next day by DPD as advertised). It’s the board I ordered and it charges and turns on. I have no receipt or returns label and no way of contacting the seller if anything goes wrong though. I am glad I have a board but no idea if the battery is safe and the advertised 12 months warranty is useless as seller is non contactable. Feel like I have done a dirty deal out for the back of a dodgy van 🙈👎

On the website terms and conditions they have accidentally referred to themselves as ‘gohoverboard’. There are also worrying reviews about that company on trust pilot as well.

If you are intending to pursue a claim against this company I encourage you to take screenshots of the website now before it gets taken down, so you have evidence of what you ordered/what was advertised.

If you search ‘citizens advice reporting to trading standards’ you will find a very helpful form to complete.

Edit - they are now answering emails and phone calls. They have given me a returns address in Leicester. It’s fosseway freight so I guess the board just goes back out for delivery. On their website a returns contact form takes you to prohoverboard.

There is also another review trail set up for this company on trustpilot with no hyphen (ukhoverboard).

Citizens advice suggested I use delivery and read receipt feature for emails and this has dramatically increased response time from them. Also look up your rights under UK consumer law.

Edit - Royal Mail won’t send the parcel due to the battery. Now trying DPD. Should be back with them by 17-12-20. Makes me sad to know it will go straight out for delivery to another family.

Ordered a board 2 days ago ..nothing came and money was taken out now website is down ..absolute joke ..emailed a receipt to me bit have had no reply to my emails.. my bank on it now ..STAY AWAY

As others have stated we too feel we have been scammed. Product did not arrive via DPD next day delivery as stated on website and we did not receive any email confirmation which triggered alarm bells. Unable to Contact company and as stated by other company in process of being dissolved according to companies house.

Product now arrived and appears to have footprints on it and is not the same as advertised. I have contacted citezans advice and reported to trading standards.

Please please do not buy from this website, this is a scam selling fake products. Product is a very cheap imitation and is nothing like is advertised on the website and has also arrived damaged. This was ordered in good faith and what has been delivered is not what was ordered. There are no return details on the invoice or in with the packaging and the telephone number for the company is disconnected, there is no way to contact the seller and emails are unanswered. The business address is a self storage facility in London. When trying to trace company via Customs house the business is listed as being dissolved in November 2020. Don’t let your kids be disappointed at Christmas stay well away!!!

Arrived today at first after reading reviews I thought I had made the wrong choice no communication about delivery only received 1 email which was my order confirmation but so far so good we will see when my son uses it Christmas day
