Not Worth The Hype!
Last week I ordered 4 items from Hype. I only received 2 of them. Have messaged them twice about the missing items with ZERO response! I seriously wouldn't bother!
design has changed - smaller and straps not comfy
I think the design of Hype rucksacks have changed. They are smaller and the straps far less comfy. Feel a little cheated. Too late to return and get an alternative. I am not sure the bag we have will fit all the required things and we measured before we ordered.
Item not received and no communication
Ordered a lunch bag for my daughter on Thursday 29th August and paid extra for next day delivery as it was needed for school. I had a message from DPD on Friday morning saying it was going to be delivered that day, but then a further message that afternoon saying ‘Your parcel has been delayed due to an unexpected issue in your area’ It has still not arrived and we are now on Sunday. The tracking still has the same message and no update. I have messaged Hype twice via their website and had no response. I am very unhappy and disappointed and would not use this company again.
Update: the lunch bag was delivered today (Monday) too late for back to school. Had a reply from Hype customer services saying DPDs deliveries are out of their control and that they have seen the item has now been delivered. No offer of a refund for paying extra for next day delivery even though this is within my consumer rights. Really poor customer service and untrustworthy company.

Contacted and they told me they would contact Royal Mail - they replied saying Royal Mail have confirmed gps, left in safe place and we are closing case! I don’t have a safe place at my property! So either someone stole my parcel or Royal Mail never left it! Absoutley dining with hype to just close case! So not use them!
Well what can I say not good at all
Well what can I say ! Not a great shopping experience hence the 2 stars ! Would have been a 1 but giving a 2 as Becky in customer service has done her best to help me but it has been a rubbish experience. My next day delivery order never arrived at all and they did agree to send out again. How ever as 3 of the items were sale items they had sold out so we had to miss out on those items. Then they send me 2 swimming shorts in same size but the sticker on shorts had wrong size to label in the shorts just seems very disorganised company and needs to work a lot harder with orders. I didn’t like the joggers we got as they were huge on my son despite being his size the swim shorts were not very giving on size a very tight 9-10 fit. Personally I don’t know what all the hype is !!

Was not impressed with item once delivered, upon opening the order the item was dirty with marks on the bag, I have a very disappointed child who was excited for their new school bag.
Absolutely shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking customer service. Charged shipping for an order over £160, website states free shipping with orders over £30. Contacted customer services 4 time, no response at all. I would give them 0 stars if I could, hopefully this review will prompt some action!
There was a slight issue with my order
There was a slight issue with my order, so I contacted Hype customer support. Jo got back to me almost immediately and not only resolved the issue, but also insured that my order was dispatched ASAP with expedited shipping. It is rare to come across such wonderful customer service.
Terrible company. Avoid!
Terrible company. Items out of stock they didn't inform me or refund me. I looked on their website and the item I ordered is available but for full price. I sent a number of emails without response. They wouldn't let me return sale item clothes, even though their sizing is ridiculously large and legally, I have the right to. I had to contact trading standards and open a dispute with PayPal and even then they said they can't refund me until I close the case. Like that makes any sense. I will only close the case when the issue is resolved. Have to continue escalating this with Paypal.
Also, the fact that they only respond to good reviews says it all. They don't care, unless you're saying something positive.

I’ve ordered two items that I no longer want and I still am yet to receive a return label it’s been more than 24 hours ? How can this get resolved please as I want to return this back to you
Items missing from order but no…
Items missing from order but no customer service at all. Basically as they can’t now fulfil the order, or won’t, I as the customer pay the penalty. This is a repeat performance for the last time I shopped with them and wrong sizes were sent. They refuse a full refund and only offer store credit. Beware! It works in their financial favour for items to be lost in transit as you don’t get a refund only store credit. I should have learned the first time but alas my child wanted their products so I tried again. The packaging was clearly never sealed and the items fell out. Best avoided, shop in a store that sells their stuff instead as I have found their online unreliable and they don’t care.
Very Disappointed- Too small and non returnable …
The items have arrived and the sizing is very small. Just went to return them ( which I was annoyed that I had to pay £2.99 after paying postage to discover that they are non returnable as bought in the sale. What a rip off- never again Hype!
Backpack fail
First school backpack bought through Hype, loved the design, but it sadly didn’t last the year. First one zip failed and then the other in fairly quick succession. Shame they are not sturdier - surely they should be guaranteed to last at least one full school year… will no longer recommend.

Absolutely fantastic customer service from Jo, There was a problem with the delivery selection I needed next day but it was down as standard delivery they rectified it straight away and I received the items next day, the products were lovely ! And I will definitely be ordering from hype again as I have full confidence in their customer service and their products thank you 😀
Disappointed with the colours.
The t-shirt sent was a completely different colour to the one shown in the website (on a very misleading picture,) and the hoodie was too small. Hype offered a refund. Customer service was good, but I won’t order again.

I ordered a rucksack for my 9 year old granddaughter, she loves it. It is very sturdy and should last well. I was impressed how quickly the order arrived.
