Works well but requires upper body strength to operate.
So the product is well made and I was able to reduce the height of the bushes in my garden without having to use a stepladder - which is exactly why I bought it.
But at 69 I no longer have the strength required to operate it for any longer than a couple of minutes at a time. I guess with a perfectly vertical hedge like in the tv ads it would be easier but in reality I had to lean the trimmer pole forward which puts a lot of strain on arms and shoulders. There is a support harness but it so restricts the movement required I gave up using it.
So if like me you’re fully active but definitely past your physical best, think carefully before purchasing. If you’re confident you can handle it then I would recommend this product.

Great offer prices on bare tools. Process from purchase to delivery went smoothly, had good updates and rapid delivery.
I've used my Ryobi tools alongside other guys with more expensive brands. They ended up using my Ryobi for the seriously hard work on solid oak.
