Unexpectedly finding myself as sole executor, I chose to use UK Probate based on reviews & up front pricing. Although a relatively straightforward case (given the difficulties of lockdown), a friend's story of him being personally liable for a 2 year late £3k tax bill, after already paying out a relative's estate, was a big factor. Ultimately the peace of mind & confidence by opting for Estate Management, probably saved me hundreds of sleepless nights. Renunciation of the Will's chosen solicitor definitely saved a small fortune too. My single point of contact was the legendarily patient Sue. Start to finish about 15 months - delays due to 3rd party ad hoc lockdown measures. I can wholeheartedly recommend this company, and will use again in future. Many thanks.

Having recently lost my wife to cancer there were many issues that needed addressing despite having a will. The one process I was not looking forward to was the probate challenge. Still suffering from the shock of loosing my wife I could not bear the thought of completing endless forms. I decided to contact UK Probate in Wilmslow. I had been quoted 3-6 months and £2500 by a solicitors to get probate. Tara managed to do this in 21 days from my first contact with her at a cost of £499 , I was sceptical about using an online probate company but very pleased I did and didn’t pay a penny until I had received my grant of probate .

Our probate was handled by Tara who was fantastic from start to finish. Our case was slightly complex due to overseas death so some solicitors quoted £1750. Tara made our probate simple and it was a very far price £495 I believe. Definitely recommend

I was so worried about having to complete the Probate paperwork as I knew nothing at all about the process. So had a look for fixed fee probate help.
As UK Probate is fairly close I gave them a call and spoke to Tara who told me about the service and asked a few basic questions to see if they could help.
The questionnaire was with me the following day and I filled it all in and emailed it back.
The draft documentation was sent for us to approve.
As my brother and I live at opposite ends of the UK Tara posted out the final paperwork for him to sign and post on to me. I added the other parts required death certificates, original Will etc and posted back.
The whole process was totally painless and the certificate granted about 4 weeks later.
I can thoroughly recommend UK Probate if you aren’t confident about completing it yourself as this is their area of expertise and I am so glad as it took all anxiety out of it.

I wasn't sure how easy this would be, but Tara helped me all the way thru the process, from the application for probate to applying for the land registry. She was literally at the end of an email for me and replied very quickly. She helped with any problems or queries so as I could fill the application in successfully. I couldn't have done it without them. I would definitely recommend them for anybody needing to go thru this.

I contacted UK Probate with regard to obtaining probate for my late step-mother’s estate and found Tara very helpful and guided me through the whole process. UK probate helped me through the process of obtaining a grant of probate and obtained the document for me in less than eight weeks from my initial enquiry. Excellent service and very reasonably priced. For us there were only bank accounts, no property or assets so a straightforward simple task which would have cost a lot more through a solicitor.
