Scammers..

If you used ultra pdf website- Block your card immediately and inform your bank! They are fraudsters, stealing credit card information. I was lucky that I provided a credit card - not a debit card, so the bank could block all forwarded and future transactions.

Need help with unsubscribing - I'm desperate

I've had the same experience as everyone else. I innocently signed up for an initial trial at £1.99 and have only recently discovered that they have been charging me £34.99 per month for nearly a year now ! And now, when I am desperately trying to "unsubscribe" it is proving impossible. Can anyone give me any advice on closing my account with this thieving company ?
PS If it helps anyone else - I spoke to my bank and got them to block any payments to this dodgy company. They were really helpful and supportive.

The wwultrapdf are scammers

The wwultrapdf are scammers, they took £1.99 on the 12th May 2025 from my account and again took £49.99 on the 14th of May 2025.
I'm really surprised how can a bank give access to such a company without any interrogation.

Do not give them your card details

Exact same thing happened as the previous review. I paid for the £1.99 download. Not signed up for a subscription, no notice about future payments. They have attempted to take £49.99 out of my bank today. Luckily Natwest flagged it as a potential fraudulent transaction.

On April 24

On April 24, 2024, I purchased what was clearly stated as a $0.99 one-time PDF product from UltraPDF. A week later, on May 1, 2025, they fraudulently charged me $49.99 without any notice, invoice, or prior agreement.

At no point during my purchase was it mentioned—either in the checkout process or in the terms—that I’d be subscribed or charged again. I did not agree to this, and I received no emails or receipts confirming this charge.

This is outright deceptive and unauthorized behavior. I have reported the charge as fraud to my bank and am filing complaints with relevant consumer protection bodies.

Avoid UltraPDF at all costs—they will take your money without consent and ignore your support request.

£1 unclear sign up scam, got me since Oct 2023!! Fuming

Exactly the same as people below. My bank was very familiar with this 'service provider'!!! Go to smartpdf, log in to your account, cancel subscription (you will receive cancellation email), cancel the transaction with your bank, but your bank cannot guarantee that they can are able to stop all future payments (due to business changing their payment transaction name from ultrapdf to smrtpf which can get through bank security!!! says my bank HSBC), so you will then need to also cancel your card to do everything you can to stop this happening. But HSBS said this STILL does not future proof their ability to take future payments, but could not explain to me how, it is just the 'schpeel' they have to say to banking customers. But having received the cancellation email, you can now dispute all future transactions and have all future illegally taken transactions likely successfully refunded.

They just stole $70 from my account! Crooks. Don't go near them. We even got a fraud alert from our bank and they still managed to take a payment even after we got a new ATM card to stop them.
