A scam hiding behind a working product 😢

The product itself worked but ended up being a SCAM.

I paid £1 to edit a PDF and now they've been trying to charge me ~£40 for some sort of "subscription"

Luckily Monzo saw the payment as fraud and blocked it.

Now I'm waiting for a new card to be delivered

You can cancel your subscription…

You can cancel your subscription through SmartPDF.

The money withdrawn for the SmartPDF subscription appears on the bank statement as WWUltraPDF—at least, that was my experience. When you first used SmartPDF, an account was created for you. You can find the account details and password by searching for SmartPDF in your emails.

Once you log in, you can cancel your subscription.

I hope this helps!

Total scam

Total scam - did a free trial and then did not click any box to authorise payments - they have been taking £29.90 for the past couple of months - no way to cancel or talk to anyone. Ended up speaking to my credit card company who have logged it as scam and will block future payments!

SCAMMY

They tried to charge 39.99 quid on my credit card even though I never agreed to a subscription (referenced under wwultrapdf). I actually only used a website called pdffiller to purchase a one-off edit (<1 pound) 2 weeks ago. I believe the two website may be related. Thankfully my bank did not approve of the transaction. Please be careful.

Scammers! Just to say the same as everyone else

Just to say the same as everyone else - I did not ask for or want a subscription, and then found they were taking £34.99 from my account. It is impossible to contact them too!
However, having seen these posts, and realised it's a scam, I spoke to my bank and pointed them in direction of this site. They have refunded me - and ordered me a new card - and told me to contact them again if any more payments manage to get through. SPEAK TO YOUR BANK PEOPLE - they will help you!

Subscription without consent

Like many others here, I signed up for the the £1 trail and have since been charged £34.99 without my consent. I have now cancelled the subscription (which I never signed up for) on their website and have blocked future payments through my bank. Hopefully this will work.

Avoid, they will not cancel your subscription

I used the service and paid a one-off fee, the following month I was charged £34.99, so I unsubscribed using their website, however, the payments kept leaving my account without my content despite receiving an email from them confirming that my plan had been cancelled, the company's name kept changing on my bank transactions between WWULTRAPDF and WWPDFSMRT, so, I emailed them but no one replied, in the end, I had to contact my bank to look into the matter and dispute the unauthorised payments.

DO NOT SIGN UP to ULTRAPDF

As others have discovered, this is a scam.
I find, to my astonishment, that ultrapdf have charged me, without my authorisation, and without providing any services whatsoever, £1.99 and £34.99 in October and £34.99 in November.

An absolute scam

An absolute scam. I paid £1 to bind a couple of PDFs. I definitely wasn't aware of any sort of subscription until my bank put a stop on a £34.99 payment. I said I didn't recognise the payment but then they told me I'd paid £1 to the same company about 10 days prior and realised it was this. Thankfully my bank has cancelled the payment and any future requests so I feel very fortunate. They did say I ought to try and cancel direct to be sure, but I can see from other reviews that this will be a complete waste of time. I will just have to keep an eye on my account. Please avoid this website at all costs.
