We paid for the Hazel Branch 150cm White/Brass (along with the Clave Wood) Tuesday March 18th (€1,408 in total). No mention on the website that there was any issue with stock. We receive an e-mail March 21st informing us that the Hazel Branch is not actually in stock but will be back March 26th. No problem we said. Then no word on the order so we e-mail March 28th to confirm it is on its way. Then an e-mail today April 1st informing us that it is not actually in stock and will not be back until April 30th?
Our first fix electrical work is complete, with a wire positioned exactly to work with the Hazel Branch 150cm technical specifications... so we are stuck. This will delay the second fix electrical work.
Deeply disappointing service.
What is worse is that if you go on to the Umage website now, it still says this product is in stock so can be bought and paid for, and it says "we deliver within 7 working days"???
We ordered on the 18th of March and if the product is not in stock until the 30th of April, that is a minimum of 44 days, or 32 working days.
We love the design and (hopefully) quality of the Umage products, but the service and transparency regarding product stock and deliveries is unprofessional and deeply damages the customer experience and feeling of brand trust and loyalty.

I've been trying to return my package for over a week. The link to generate the return label doesn't work (I've tried on different computers and also on phones). I've written 3 emails and I got one response after 3 days with the same link that doesn't work.
I see lots of customers say the customer service is bad, honesty i think the problem is intentional, so i value this as a SCAM, not just a bad customer service.
I can't believe I cannot make a refund after you write on your website that returns are allowed and many other bullshits.

Good product, bad experience.
The product itself is good, however, the experience was downright bad. Ordered a lounge chair and sidetable.
First of all, received no information at all regarding ETA after making the order. Then suddenly days after I got an automated email from their transport partner Dachser, giving me a whopping 3 options to choose from for delivery, of which 2 were on the same day. Unfortunately none of them worked for me and the week after these options I would be on holiday. I had no options at all in their portal to choose another date, so I had to call them. They said they could not hold the product for more than 3 days because of some policy and because I would be on holiday the week after they would have to send it back to Umage. I said this was a waste of time and resources for everyone (they agreed, but could not make an exception) and also emailed Umage customer support. Received no feedback from them, so I assume the goods would go back to Umage.
To my shock, I received a delivery alert on the day I was back from holiday (turns out they could make an exception after all). This was a nice surprise, but would be good to have had some kind of info on this. Luckily, my wife was home that day, but it could've easily been possible that nobody would be there on that day as I was still under the impression that the goods would be returned.
So finally, I received my order. But to my surprise, it was only the lounge chair and no side table. Emailed customer support again and it turns out there was a mistake and the side table was not even in stock...
In conclusion the products are nice, but this company has a horrible organisation. Poor logistical partners and/or choices, poor communication, no decent stockkeeping software and the inability to proactively inform customers when something turns out to not be on stock. And this all for a company that sells quite expensive luxury furniture. Very dissappointing.

I purchased a lamp on January 31 and as of today February 13 I have neither received it nor the customer service has bothered to reply to my emails in which I asked to help identify where the parcel was.

On 16.1.2025 I bought a few things on the web shop and immediately paid via PayPal. Since then I have sent several emails to their official email asking when they plan to send my goods. I still have not received a response. Today is 27.1.2025. Conclusion, disastrous aftersale service. I will wait another day and if they do not send the goods from PayPal and ask for my money back.
