From my experience, this is definitely not a scam company
I felt compelled to leave a review after seeing a negative one claiming that Unikportrait was a scam, thinking my experience might provide some valuable insight.
I made a purchase on their website in mid-September but didn’t get my order until the end of the month, which led me to believe I had stumbled upon a scam, much like past online shopping incidents.
As a result, I filed a refund request through Paypal. Shortly after, I got a response from them on Paypal explaining that my order was on hold since they had sent a digital proof for my approval before proceeding with printing, but hadn’t received any feedback from me.
I then checked my email and found the proof sent on the very day I placed the order, along with two follow-up emails.
The issue dawned on me then. I tend not to use my regular email for online shopping to avoid a barrage of promotional emails, hence, I rarely check this particular account.
So, I retracted the refund request on Paypal and gave them the green light to fulfill the order.
We exchanged quite a bit of information regarding the size and color of the labels thereafter.
I got my labels last week and they're stunning, far exceeding my expectations.
Another reason I’m convinced they’re not a scam is their upfront honesty about the actual printed size of the label being significantly smaller than what I had initially paid for. They took it upon themselves to refund the $24 price difference, which is not a typical scammer move.
So, if you find yourself in a similar predicament, double-check the email account you used for the order or have a look in your spam folder.
