Update from Windows 7 to 10
Needed to update from Windows 7 to 10. Downloaded files but got an error message when trying to run. Contacted customer service and they were extremely helpful and gave me step by step instructions to download the files again and this time everything went smoothly. Download took a long time ( over an hour) and a few restarts during install but success in the end.

I had an issue with my own computer, opened a chat and Kylie was there. It took hours for me to update my computer (my fault). Kylie helped me through the whole process. I would recommend this company to everyone. Its so nice to have someone who wants to help and not just brush you off. If I could give more stars I would.

Great service
I recently purchased a Microsoft Publisher from this company, only to find that existing programs on my computer made installation impossible.
I contacted the company hoping - at best - that I could have a refund from them. Instead, over a series of emails and some help with amending some of my programs, my Publisher was finally installed and at no additional cost.
Overall a very satisfactory experience and I will not hesitate to use this company in future.

From the above I purchased M.S. Office 2010 end July 2023. Sure its old but its what I'm used to. Could not use the downloaded product with the supplied activation code. "Kate Walker" ( assumed name?) stuck with the problem and the product was eventually up and working after an exchange of emails. Probably going to be my go-to-first-place-to-buy for old MS Office Software. At least
unitedksoftware stuck with my prob. until resolved and MS Office2010 now installed & working. Thanks & Congrats Kate!

WHAT A SHAMBLES THIS ORGANISATION IS !
The web-site looks good, as do the prices. One small problem, however and the support machinery just seizes up. There is nothing more vital than getting the licence key for software just paid for: trouble was, they sent the wrong key, which Microsoft pointed out during the activation process. The chat service was used to try and sort the problem. Unlike most chat facilities for other on-line sellers, this one does not time-stamp the dialogue, nor does it email a transcript back to you. This hides the inordinate amount of time spent messaging the very sweet chat hostesses. These lovely people have little or no authority to fix your problem: they spend all their time (and yours) on hold trying to speak with another part of their operation. Any cost savings that might have arisen from good prices are lost many times over in terms of your own time and lost productivity. These people are best avoided !
