Too slow at emailing me my certificate. Started of saying wait time 2 hours. then after 2 hours it saying in high demand. then offers me to jump the queue for $10... Just blatantly ripping customers off. Then also noticed it tried setting me up for a monthly superscription prior to check out. Lucky I was looking and noticed before I paid.. Better online services available then this one

Quick, efficent, easy to navigate.

I’ve had two bad experiences with Updoc now, both without a response back and a refund given. The first I requested a medical certificate and was told a timeframe an hour later. 5 hours later and I still hadn’t received it. I started trying to cancel the request and it was unclear. I received the medical certificate after the 6 hour timeframe. According to their policy, I should receive a refund for this but I still haven’t. I then booked a Telehealth through HotDoc (not knowing it would link me to Updoc until after the appt was confirmed), and never received my confirmed Telehealth call. I’ve now been charged for this appointment also.

I was unable to see my regular dr and this was a great substitute.

Charged me without permission for over 6 months. When i reached out to cancel i received the same sample email multiple times and did not receive a response when i responded to them. I finally got a partial refund after sending multiple emails a week requesting a refund.

The Dr from Updoc contacted me within an hour of my request. I had the prescription messaged to me and as I didn't need it urgently they were able to post it to me. It came 2 days later. Very easy and convenient.

The process of acquiring a medical certificate is very straightforward at Updoc. You're already unwell, getting a med cert should be the least of your worries and Updoc has been a huge help.
Kudos to the team behind this.

I live remotely, have terrible internet and ride my bicycle to town.
If I cant get an appointment for same day with my in person doctor, this service works well for me.

I can get my certificate sorted in the early AM, email work, go back to sleep and then call my Dr when they open

I needed a prescription, I wasn't able to get in to a doctor in a hurry. Updoc got back to me within a couple of hours and made the script available to me.

I would recommend this to lots of people, the doctors really care about what your talking about

UpDoc is not worth paying for as the doctors frequently mark your consult as "out of scope" and you have to end up going to a GP face to face anyway.
