The courrier company is a messy,they don't deliver on time,lost packages being the most ,poor customer service you contact them they respond after a while without any proper information only apologies.

Am sure the company is busy taking customer parcels and make business then they say it's lost.Their courier license needs to be cancelled because it's daylight robbery.

Pathetic services

I had bought a watch online from Daniel Wellington I received it on the 6th of December. The watch is small and I wanted to return it to buy a bigger one. I’ve followed the return process as per email I received as they said I can’t return in store. I logged the return with the courier company UPS and on the day of collection they sent an email to say my parcel has been collected when it has not been collected. I made contact with the courier regarding this and they said I should ignore the email the driver is still on the way. To date my parcel is yet to be collected.

I’ve have been calling the courier everyday since and holding for over 20min to get through to an agent and be told they will follow up with the Cape Town team. This is such an inconvenience as this is suppose to be a Christmas gift hence I bought it way in advance to avoid delays. The service of your courier is pathetic to say the least.

It’s been over a month of back and forth with UPS and Daniel Wellington trying to get assistance. I’ve been more than patient!

I purchased Misleading Delivery Promises – A Complete Failure this service almost a month…

I purchased this service almost a month ago, paying over £20 plus an additional amount in South Africa, for what was advertised as a fast, reliable delivery of a time-sensitive document. The quoted delivery timeframe was completely misleading and borders on false advertising.
Despite their promises, the document is still sitting in a warehouse in Johannesburg, seven days after the start of the new year. This is not just a delay—it’s a total failure to deliver on what was sold.
The lack of communication and accountability is appalling. I’ve had to chase for answers, and still, nothing has been resolved. This service has wasted my time, money, and jeopardized important deadlines.
If you value honesty, reliability, and your own sanity, avoid this company at all costs. Their delivery quotes cannot be trusted, and their customer support is nonexistent. I am demanding a full refund and will escalate this matter publicly and through consumer protection channels if not resolved immediately.

An absolute disaster

An absolute disaster, waiting for a vital document and it arrived from UK in South Africa 48 hrs ago. Now waiting for a customs invoice for it to be realised. No communication, no help, still no invoice to realise the document which has no value.

Pathetic Service[UPS]

My package has been “laying in the warehouse” for nearly 9 days. When I called last Friday, I was informed that there were outstanding clearance fees to be paid. To add insult to injury, the customs/taxes they are charging are more than the value of the items I purchased.

The first time they contacted me, I was told to send through a copy of my ID, which I did immediately. On the second call, I was told about the outstanding invoice. I requested that they send me the invoice so I could settle the account, but no invoice ever arrived.

What frustrates me more is that their customer service is appalling. One agent even told me to “read the email properly” when in fact the invoice was not attached. The arrogance and lack of accountability are shocking.

I did not choose UPS as the courier partner, this was forced on me through the company I purchased from. Rest assured, I will be taking this matter up with the seller directly and will no longer be purchasing from them if UPS is the delivery partner.

My gut tells me the parcel is not even in their warehouse, otherwise the invoice would have been sent by now. The service is dishonest, incompetent, and completely unacceptable.

Verdict: Pathetic service. UPS has proven to be unreliable, unprofessional, and impossible to deal with.

This company must just close down I. South Africa!!!

This has been one of the worst delivery experiences I’ve ever had. I stayed home the entire morning to receive my parcel because there was no one else to sign for it. Two call centre agents claimed they were helping me, then put me on hold and never returned.

Only at 11:50 AM — after waiting since 9:00 AM — was I told there was an “operations issue,” which feels more like an excuse than the truth. The communication was poor, the updates were misleading, and the overall service was unacceptable.

If you value your time and peace of mind, I would strongly recommend considering another shipping company

No communication

My package has been sitting in Kempton park for 9 days, not one email was sent to me with a clearing form or vat and duty invoice. This should be sent the moment the package arrives in Kempton park.

I phoned and phoned to try and get these sent to me. This has now been completed and sent back to which I have had no response or when I can expect the delivery.

package has still not arrived.

Atleast reading through the rest of these comments makes me realize UPS has the worst service with everyone...and not just me

If you want to be charged taxes, customs and commercial invoices and still on doubt if you get your parcel? Then used UPS as your courier company! If you want to experienced the worst service in the history of your life then used UPS ! Worst EVER!!!!!!!

Wow I'm so angry.. They somehow canceled my order, for the reason of total incompetency. Not that the way over priced taxes and rates have been payed by me, my order was "abandoned" no I have to pay them a penalty en storage fee exceeding 100x of the package value. This is a disgrace!!!!!
The import fee was twice the product price, they are USELESS, STAY AWAY!!!!!

Absolutely terrible experience using…

Absolutely terrible experience using UPS UK and UPS South Africa.
Delayed a personal envelope with 4 pages in it that were sent from UK to South Africa without any explanation, and took no accountability for it, only excuses. I then had to pay an additional charge for a personal document in South Africa. I have used competitors like DHL and never experienced delays or additional charges when document arrives. I do not recommend anyone to use UPS for anything to be sent globally.

Zero stars this company should get. Do not use UPS in Saudi Arabia. I have used UPS for over 20 years in the USA and Latin America. This Saudi representation of UPS is an embarrassment to the trusted solid brand it has built for so many decades these people treat it like it’s a joke. They have completely botched my shipment the charges have not been refunded to me, my package is who knows where because when I finally spoke to a human they didn’t know whether the departure city was the destination city. Absolutely ridiculous and disgusting. I will slander them globally and write the head office so they know what is happening to the brand in this country

If wrong turn was a person it would certainly be UPS. Overpriced shipping. Ridiculous service. Once payment is made and POP sent ul make endless follow ups, calls never answered, emails never responded to. Appalling service to say the least. 1st and last time, never again.

I would give zero stars if I could

I would give zero stars if I could. I paid for expedited shipping and my parcel is already a week late. They requested a clearance payment and I paid it right away and sent them the PoP, twice. Since then no-one answers their email and they keep spamming me with smses and emails requesting an importer code. I am not an importer I'm just a regular person who ordered one item from an online company, and I have pointed that out repeatedly and asked for help to resolve this and they ignore me.
