Disappointing Experience – Poor Delivery and Customer Service
I ordered a chair from Usuals and gave clear delivery instructions to Chronopost, their delivery partner. My partner drove from Geneva to Chamonix and even waited outside the building for the delivery to ensure there would be no issues. The driver never showed up, and we received no call or notification—just a failed delivery status.
When I contacted Usuals, their sales representative Melissa refused to take responsibility, claiming the address was incorrect and that my name was unknown at the location. This is simply not true—we were present and ready to receive the package. She made no attempt to even fathom that it was the delivery company at fault.
The lack of accountability and customer support was extremely frustrating. I requested a full refund, but the response was dismissive. My partner is now in Annecy for the past two hours waiting for the package so we can return it. We have to pay for the cost of returning the chair even though they clearly have access to the same tracking information. This is a company that just wants to make money and cares nothing about their customers.
I will not be ordering from Usuals again and strongly advise others to avoid this company
