Hi Valo ..
Now a few weeks down the line and more informed ,feel I have to revise my Trust pilot review of Valo ,the facts which led to a wobbly start of our solar installation was totally explained by Tim , ...Thank you indeed.
With you taking over the reigns and explaining fully ,and dealing with ,the issues I had was a breath of fresh air , Thank you again all concerned .Engineers etc. and all .

Polite customer service

I have been wanting solar for some time and I recently decided to go ahead with Valo. Everything went ahead as planned even though I was told that there could be some delay because they had got busier recently due to the end of the government payment scheme.

There was a little delay in fitting the battery unit to complete the installation but the office staff were very polite and kept me informed. All is now up and running and I’m looking forward to enjoying the benefits of my new solar system.

I’m happy I chose valo and I would recommend them to anyone.

Everything was installed and explained very efficiently. Registration went without a hitch and I have already submitted my first reading to the Feed In Tarrif (FIT).
Obviously not generating much in this winter solstice weather but having installed a jacuzzi in September I can see what a difference having solar makes. Great to keep track of electricity generated from my app so I don't even need to be at home.

Problems 98% caused by Good Energy feed in company, velo have bent over backwards to get this resolved. Shocking after care, 6 months after panels installed I still can not see what, if anything they are generating. Took 3 months for them to register the details four feed in tariff and just been told by the feed in people I am still NOT registered. So 6 months of generating power and not a penny back. When it was installed they failed to hook up the solar heating as in the installers words ‘never seen a system like this, so do n to know what to do, but if you pay extra cash i can sort it’. Despite reporting this to the company, it still is not installed as I paid for.
WORKING HARD TO PUT THIS RIGHT, MAINLKY THE FAULT OF GOOD ENERGY FEED IN COMPANY THAT ARE BASICALLY LIARS AND THIEVES. THIS WAS A ONE STAR, NOW UPTO THREE, LETS SEE IF THEY CAN GETB TO FIVE

I had 14 panels installed with all the bells and whistles and it is the best thing I have ever done. From start to finish it has been overall a positive experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is interested having solar.

Really disappointed with the non-existent customer service in the after care team and I feel I have been mis-sold a concept just to get a quick sale by the sales representative to meet their end of year target. Promises of a follow up 2 weeks after installation has not happened-obviously an empty gesture. Once they had payment we heard nothing.
I was assured that the whole process would be hassle free with no complicated forms to complete . However it took them from the 17th September to 29th of October to get these forms to me. I duly signed and sent off the forms to my energy provider. After not hearing anything from my energy supplier I called Valo on two occasions to ask if this was normal and they didn’t know the answer. After waiting a further period I had still not heard anything so I called my energy supplier only to be told there was no record of these forms being received. They were extremely efficient and emailed the forms to me and I ended up completing the 8 pages of forms myself, getting them scanned at a cost of £11 and back to them the following day. Obviously any units I had accrued are lost , another financial lost to me. Furthermore I required a receipt from Valo on headed paper showing their VAT number I requested this on the 21 December and I am still waiting for a call from them or the receipt.
I am totally disheartened with Valo and would not recommend them to anyone. They have taken full advantage of me to get their sale but now they simply don’t care!!
Avoid at all costs. A classic case of over promising and under delivering.

Great comms from start to finish. A breath of fresh air compared to other companies that quoted. Clear process all the way through. Fully satisfied customer. Would highly recommend Val.

My wife was at home during the installation and she was extrememly happy with the way the work was carried out. She has already recommended Valo to our friends. We have been informed we dont need to worry about registration as all this will be taken care of.
Very happy so far.

She came 1 and a half hrs early for the appointment. Said it would take about an hour, she was here almost 3 hrs We wanted to think about it as it was going to cost us a up front loan. ,she said we had to sign that day because people never phone back. Cancelled early this morning by email and asked for our deposit back. Said rep phoned 10.57 to say she omitted something, told her we cancelled , we phoned customer service but only got a answering machine, but the surveyor still turned up this afternoon 3pm. Very poor customer service. This is advertised with Martin Lewis's info on solar panels and this company has a link attached.

Very good service even when we had minor issues with the installation, we are already seeing the benefit of our solar panels and would recommend valo to anyone

Great service from start to finish, 14 panels fitted and a battery, all working fine and happy with the service.

Like Tony I have received zero after sales service. Fitted on agreed date but no post installation briefing. Have rung with several queries promised call back which have not happened. Electrician pleasant enough but untidy and messy. They have chased me for money which I have now paid- they are quick enough for that. Now waiting for connection to grid payments.

Have not received any written guide lines certificate of installation or guarantee. Installation was in June

They do what they say they will do with no compromise. I would recommend them without question form the sales to completion total committed to providing outstanding service.

We recently had Valo install our Solar panels and we found them very professional all workmen were very helpful and friendly and tidy. Would recommend to friends and family.
